I say we move it to "Heavy", because, yes, they cover thrash, but that's like saying that Helloween is classic rock because they covered "Paint it Black". Do they do trad. metal? No. But it seems the most appropriate place. And by definition, they do not do Avant-Garde. (The fusion of 5 or more styles of music)

Gw3nn0w on the 10th of december I go to a concert of Apocalyptica. They play here the 15th... And saying that Apocalyptica is heavy was completely unexpected even for this, but hey, god saves the queen xd

Whoa, necroed this thread...
I enjoyed "Inquisition Symphony" and "Reflections" but then they had to go and do all these godawful collaborations on their newest album, including one with hyperdouche Corey Taylor. Bad, Apocalyptica, bad! xp

Apocalyptica are pretty good. I only have some of their instrumental stuff and a few with guest singers. I saw them live (front row) in Tuska 2005, my friend caught one of the drummer's sticks. biggrin

well apocalyptica aint that bad too, in my opinion tho the only songs ive really listened to is their metallica remakes and the new one with the lead singer of 3 days grace(cant think of his name right off the tip of my head)
