Hmm. I like the holiday issue idea. Though if we do a Corporate Christmas slant with Buddhist subscribers, there could be...issues.

Though there will always be those issues.

We could do an alternative religion one, every holiday. Even the non-conventional holiday ones.....

Oh Goodie! Repeal of Prohibition Day!

-carefully ignores above holiday mention-

Well, not too many people get upset about Winter Solstice. 3nodding And let's face it, Santa has long since lost any religious symbolicism he hever had, which is close to zero anyway.

And yes, Hallmarkmass is about to begin...

What if we just had holiday layouts? Instead of the usual GP logo, we have a Christmassy one. But again, that requires someone good with that sort of thing.

And there's the bonus funnies idea I had in HQ. 3nodding

Only if we dress it up Hallmark style. If we're going to do the Holidays, we might as well celebrate the master of ceremonies.

-cough- I'm reasonably well-acquainted with PSP8, and I'm fairly good with banners anyway...even without PSP, I've been messing around in Paint for half my life. I think I can be of assistance.

We could have a Political Project-esque thing, where people can send in stories/poems/articles about the debasement of holidays etc etc etc

Eh. I personally wouldn't like to recieve it through a PM, because it compresses the width and would make it seem insanely long. Regular posts are nice and wide.

^ She brings up a good point, but I don't know of any other way we could send the issue out.

We could have holiday projects, but they don't necessarily have to be political.

Right. If we didn't send it by PM, what other options of distribution would there be? Beside regular posting I mean. All I can think of is putting it on a seperate site and then passwording it but it's always possible to break a password. Was there anyone else you noticed whom would prefer to have it not PMed? And, if you do plan on PMing it, is there anything keeping the people from just sending the issue to someone else?

And what would you suggest for the holiday project?

Good faith. It's just like everything else, except they don't have to bother downloading software to share.

List of Doom
- Who will keep track of the subscribers and send out the issues each month? My only concern is that the issues will be too long for regular PMs, so it might be easier to just send a notice linking to the issue published in the Writing Forum. Of course, we'll have to come up with some more special benefits for subscribers if they're still expected to pay the 975g.
- We should list the subscribers on thepress account as friends. This way we can send out one notice to everyone in one go! Yay!

Okay. I commandeered the first post from Mr. CEO/Manager, so now all the mentioned ideas are updtated with price settings, etc.

As for who will keep track of subscribers, we can have a record of it at the minishop or in a little minishop corner here at the guild (and a minishop corner for expansion/circulating ideas/organization does sound like a good idea). It can be like our indexes. Whoever is bored enough can update it, but I can do it officially if you'd like me to.

Sending out issues? If you can't do it then I guess either me or Kraeela or even Araia, whoever feels up to it. And yeah, someone else brought up the same concern about the issue's from in a PM. idea You can send the draft to a staffie or we can send each other to see what it looks like ourselves. I'm not sure about a link. Yes, it's much easier, but who wants to pay 975g for a link? And how exactly would we manage to give them bonuses when the issues's not all there in the PM?

...what if they don't agree to go on thepress' friend list? That'd be unnecissary trouble. But yeah, it would make it easier, so we can add as many as possible and just send the rest one at a time by list. *shrug* Whatever.

And our mini shop needs a layout. It needs a banner and a display, etc. Araia, this calls for a graphics guru, so brainstorming is called for from everyone. Someone should set up a sort of Mini Shop Draft in some post so we can plan it out. Especially if we plan to have it done by this coming issue, which is only 10 days away. xp

Along with everything else that's been going on around here. Jeez, alicemae pops up again and it's like we're all headless chickens! xd

Payment 975g plus allowing thepress to put you on its list. That takes care of that problem.

I think Alice is afflicted with a very rar case of headless-chicken-syndrome, which is very contageuous....

Quick decisions are paramount to violently qaushing uprisings of the proletariat.
