No... Wintermelon isn't north.... I think it sounds like east, but it's actually 'dong' as in 'winter'
Then there is a melon that sounds like each of the four major directions.

Riyoku Sakimori No... Wintermelon isn't north.... Oh wow, having taken an advanced course in Linguistics, I find the linguistical curiosities of chinese speech to be facinating. Keep posting, this stuff is really something.
I wish I could contribute but I guess that being able to understand it all is good enough. Don't blame me tho... I'm a CBC. razz
