"Okay, that does make some sense. Then can I ask how you know a tribe would fit you?" Aku watches her with more curiosity now, interested in knowing a bit more about this area.
Maybe he'd learn enough about the tribes and figure out if he wanted to join one of them, or at least know which ones to avoid or stay near.

"Because my Daddy told me about him. Daddy really likes Lazuli, because his best friend is in that tribe. And they're really friendly and helpful over there, he says. But then Amores is about love, and my mate and I want to join the same tribe, so we might go into that one.
"But we haven't seen any tribes yet, besides Daddy's tribe where I know we won't fit in, so we can't really decide yet.
"Are you thinking about joining a tribe?"
Sigal didn't quite get the life of a lone wanderer, but it appealed to some foxes, like her aunt, and maybe he would be one of those. But maybe not, so it was best to ask him.

Aku nods slightly, glancing around at the empty field. "I was concidering it, but I don't know enough about the tribes here to really make any decision yet."
After a few more seconds he stands up, shaking his fur just a little. "Would you mind if I traveled with you to see these tribes you were looking for?"

"I know a little about all of the official tribes, since Daddy taught me. And I heard about Amores from a passing fox. It kind of sounded like there are some other tribes that are too small to be official, too, though, so I can't help you with those.
"But of course you can come along! Maybe you'll find some place you like, too!" Sigal grinned, eager to share her happiness with Aku. To her, being in a tribe would be the best thing ever, and she wanted him to experience that, too.

All she knew about the other unofficial tribes was that there was no way they could possibly fit her as well as Amores or Lazuli would. Both of those tribes were friendly and caring and pretty much all she could ask for from a tribe.

He tilts his head to the left just slightly, thinking. "Well.. what do I like? That's actualyl a good question. I like to learn new things, and the company of other foxes though I haven't been around very many before. Hmm.."
His tail sways absently as he continues contemplating just what he did like that could tell someone what tribe he'd get along with. "Traveling, I do like that but I guess there aren't any nomadic tribes around here are there?"

"Nope, no nomadic ones. I don't think there are any about learning new things, either. From what I heard, I think the Syndicate likes knowledge, but you have to like art, too.
"If you just want to be around other foxes, then probably Amores or Lazuli. Or is there anything else you like you haven't mentioned yet?"
She didn't know Aku that well, but he did seem pretty nice, and she bet it would be cool to be in the same tribe with him. Maybe, if she was lucky, she could even make him her friend!

Aku frowns lightly, thinking hard. "I don't know about art, I'd have a strong opinion on some of it and that might not be good.."
"What are those tribes like, Amores and Lazuli? Are they large, or small? I hope they're not crowded.. I like being around other foxes but I don't like being crowded"
He gives a slight shake of his head. "I'm not making things very easy am I.."

Sigal didn't know much about the Syndicate, and had no idea how they would react to a strong opinion on art. Maybe it would be good, but maybe not. She wasn't that interested in art, so wasn't that interested in the tribe, and didn't pay that much attention.
"No, it's fine. The last thing you want is to be stuck in a tribe you hate." Sigal gave him an encouraging smile.

"Um...I think Amores is this way. I know we're closer to it." She knew that Daddy really wanted her to join Lazuli, where his best friend Toki was, but Lazuli sounded so small. She thought that they only had five members or so. And she really did want a big tribe.
Maybe if Lazuli suddenly grew, she would join. Otherwise, she was going to go with Amores.

"Alright, then we'll go there first? Hey what happens if you join that tribe but I don't fit in, you think someone would know where the Lazuli tribe is so I could go on to there?" It was a pretty good question, seeing as he'd not really seen any of the tribes before anyway.
Or, maybe he would fit in with the Amores and not have to worry about it. He'd just have to find that out.

"Oh, alright then. That sounds like a plan." He supposed he should eventually learn his own way around here though, so he wouldn't be relying on someone else's directions.. or following another fox around just to get places.
