Yeah me too! The whole idea of a dragon living in an icy cave is neat but, I doubt it ever happened. In my story, my dragons prefer to live inside caves at a volcano. 3nodding

The more the merrier. This thread is barely being used at the moment. If you can help revive it B-rad, then that'd be great.

Go ahead B-rad! What do you want to chat about? As long as it's fantasy, anything is welcome! 3nodding

Hm I'm not sure if it's the same book because of the multiple books entilted "The Alchemist" but if it was the same I read part of it. It was well written, a little creepy and quite gripping in my opnion. Though I'm not sure it would fall under the fantasy catagory so much as sci-fi...

Really? I suppose I should look at that book sometime but I rarely can check books out where I live. I don't think we have a library around here... rolleyes

Though I don't use the library much myself, not having one is a real shame. After all there are so many great works of fantasy(...and other genre) literature out there waiting to be read, and so little money to pay for them.

I'm gonna start this up again.
I was watching Eragon a while ago (rec from V plus.) and when Safira (the dragon) is old enough they talk about her breathing fire, but as I heard it, they said something about...two different lungs.
One is for fire and one is for ice, now...would it be possible to actually be like that?
Makes me wonder sometimes.

i don't think that something and "breathe" ice. Maybe something that is really, really, REALLY! cold. Aside from that i don not know if those two could live in one thing, even if it is really big.

Mystic Wondering i don't think that something and "breathe" ice. Maybe something that is really, really, REALLY! cold. Aside from that i don not know if those two could live in one thing, even if it is really big. I agree with Mystic on that. I don't find it feasible that something can breath ice. Something really cold, like Mystic says maybe but, ice? Not really, no... Don't get me wrong, the idea can be cool for games like FFT (I have FF Tactics Advance and it's cool in that game) but for a story? Hmm, not so much.
