Unless its Triple C's or Delsum.
I actually enjoy the taste of Delsum.
But for Robo, its always the Gel Caps.

On a Lunacy Fringe My seat on the plane was right next to the window above the wing of the plane, and I definitely kept thinking I saw a little man dressed in blue wearing a police hat sitting on the edge of the wing. I think at one point I told him to "get down from there, we're gonna be taking off soon". Needless to say the lady next to me thought I was insane. RaveKitten13 Haldol (this is what the Benadryll was used against), Effexor XR, and most steriods. On top of that I refuse to take codine (outside of my cough syrup), morphine, vicodine, or hydrocordone. Haldol? I'm not sure I've heard of it... I'll go look it up. Is it an opiate or related? Or do you just prefer to steer away from those?
As a side note, if I seem focused on codeine at the moment, it's because as luck would have it, my mom broke her finger last weekend and has Tylenol 3's. She had surgery on it today, too, so... they're going to keep coming... o_O; But I mention because though I have fond almost-memories, she mentioned the other day that she doesn't like the opiated feeling the codeine gives her.
gonk Those pills are wasted on her, honestly... crying

chibi-faolan Saucy Brigand SpacePirate oh man, i used to drink cough syrup, sooo nasty, i cant even look at the stuff now. what me and my friend used to do is we would drink the cough syrup, smoke a joint, then do whippits, then go backto school for art class. but one day i got so sick i passed out in class, one of my classmates woke me up saying i didnt look good, i went home and passed out in the tub for 3 hours gonk
I mean, I've had an adventure like that, but it was caused by a really high fever from a kidney infection, not anything I'd taken!
However, mother tells me that when I was young and I'd come down sick the doctor would prescribe codeine, and I'd tell the most amazing stories. Ah, the opium dreams of a five-year-old. hahaha awesome, i got some valium when i got my wisdom teeth out, then codeine for after, oh man i was FLYIN!

gonk Those pills are wasted on her, honestly... crying Haldol is an anti-convoslant kinda. The Effexor XR made me seizure and beeld from EVERY orfice of my body while bruising everywhere and they gave me shot of Haldol to stop the seizures. Later my head started tilting back until I could look the person sitting behind me in the eye. Given my first hour IV of benedryll, sent back, 2 hours later the Haldol kicks in again, taken BACK to the ER (3rd time in 2 days) and get another hour of IV Benedryll. Yeah, anything barbituate or opiate based is wasted on me. But I still fill my perscriptions because I find things to do with them.

That wasn't really a story, but whatever.

My friend that does it more often that I do weighs nearly 200 pounds... or maybe more, I forget. But either way, he wont take over 40 anymore himself. Said it can get ******** horrible.

That's a shame dude. Dex isn't even worth it at 20. The most spiritual trip I've ever had off of any drug was on 60 pills of dex. I was sitting at hastings, but I could have been anywhere in the world. I was watching the sunset, and then it started getting bigger. And then I became one with the sunset. Then I became one with the universe. I didn't know where I was, but it didn't matter at all. It was like a zen awakening or something. Sounds rediculous, but it was great. Nothing was going through my mind. Absolutely nothing. I just was. That's something most people don't experience their whole lives. But I'm not saying go out and try 60. Odds are you won't have such a great trip. But if you like the feeling 20 pills gives you, you might like the higher plateau trips.

Liver damage with acetaminophen isn't "highly unlikely" at high doses, it's guaranteed. eek The amount that's high enough to cause severe damage and the time it needs to be ingested in varies from person to person, but a single dose of more than 10 grams, or more than 150mg per kg of body weight, is pretty likely to cause significant damage. If someone takes it chronically and then takes a larger dose, that single dose can be smaller and still be heavily toxic, or if they've been drinking alcohol while consuming the drug. Smaller doses are needed for toxicity if the person has existing liver damage from hepatitis, alcoholic cirrhosis, or other conditions.
4000mg is the highest recommended safe dose of acetaminophen in a 24-hour period for the average adult. I'd avoid pills with it in them if you want to trip this way, or count your dosages, to make sure you don't trash your liver unnecessarily.
(Haldol's haloperidol, a conventional antipsychotic commonly given by injection that acts on dopamine receptors and also has anti-histimine and anti-emetic properties, meaning that it stops allergic reactions and nausea.)

DXM is one of my favorite drugs.
I enjoy higher end second plateau effects, because the light shows become people and objects for me, and really reveal to me who I think I am.
I discovered dissociatives through DXM because I was low on cash, and was still just exploring the world of psychedelics. I admit, I was extremely stupid with my first dose (660 mg), and ended up in the hospital, though I experienced what I would call my first worth-while trip for the first couple of hours. Keep in mind that I'd tried strong doses of LSD and peyote. I've concluded that the difference between regular psychedelics and dissociatives is best expressed in the metaphor or comaring what is essentially construction (regulars) and deconstruction (dissociative) (read up on deconstrucionism and ponder what the opposite would be to better understand this, I guess).
A month later, after extensively reading up on DXM and other dissociatives, I tried it again, but now at 200 mg, to try and build up experience and later move up to what I think is quite enjoyable.
A month after that, I tried it again, but at 360 mg, and put myself in a dark room (a bathroom with no windows). I laid down and saw myself growing from an old man to my age in a few seconds, I launched myself out of a door into complete nothingness, I felt that the earth had swallowed me and I went to hell, but was brave about it, knowing that it was a hallucination, I saw a book with only one clear sentence written in it (Welcome to yourself.) I had hallucinations of people in the room with my eyes open... It was just... amazing.
A couple of months after that, I tried it again, and had a similar experience (different CEVs). I did it again a week after that and my thoughts punished me inside the trip for doing it too often. That was a few weeks ago.
Anyway, that's me. I buy a generic brand for 2 bucks that gives you 360 mg in a very liquid and easy to keep down form. I usually drink some sugary orange juice and smoke a cigarette afterwards to help with the taste, and walk around in the open air to keep it down (though I think I'll smoke a little bit of weed to help with the nausea instead next time).
Psychedelics made the world seem beautiful, dissociatives made the world seem profound. Yeah.

Look up the weight to dex ratio's for each plateau. You need a shitload for a higher plateau trip. I don't mean to sound dismissive of your dex history, but I really don't think you've taken dex enough to know what kind of nasea I'm talking about. I've taken dex, probably about a hundred times, give or take a few. I haven't done it in... two months. Whenever I'm walking through the supermarket, and I see a bottle of robo, I get sick like I just took 20 gelcaps. And the smell of pure dex (the s**t you get from the inside of gelcaps) has never failed to make me throw up in the past few months. Just the smell.

You need a shitload for a higher plateau trip. I don't mean to sound dismissive of your dex history, but I really don't think you've taken dex enough to know what kind of nasea I'm talking about. I've taken dex, probably about a hundred times, give or take a few. I haven't done it in... two months. Whenever I'm walking through the supermarket, and I see a bottle of robo, I get sick like I just took 20 gelcaps. And the smell of pure dex (the s**t you get from the inside of gelcaps) has never failed to make me throw up in the past few months. Just the smell. Maybe you're more than double my weight, but 750 mg is barely enough for me to send me off to the fourth plateau. I've been to the third, and didn't enjoy it too much. It was too choppy for my taste. I may try the fourth next, I guess. And 100 trips? You haven't burned out yet?

It definately wasn't particularly fun, or really that trippy. I had the best trip ever when I took 60 though. Have you ever heard about the 50 trip limit? A few of my buddies have done dex as much as me, and they can't get high off it. I still can, for some reason. But I really don't think I'm any less smart than before I'd ever done dex.
