lunashock I would think a heavier period would be more in line with a miscarriage. I know you won't like it, but you NEED to get to the doctor if you suspect a miscarriage. Those symptoms definitely don't sound like normal period symptoms. Not to mention, with miscarriages (also could be implantation bleeding) it's vital to make sure that all the matter was expelled to prevent future scarring, infections. I know a friend who had a really bad bought with a miscarriage because of how everything was set. She thought it was over and then started bleeding heavily. I'd go into PP ASAP. Well implantation bleeding is supposed to be really light, right? My period isn't super light, it has been heavy, just not as heavy as usual. I usually use regular tampons, and I was able to use those just fine, and when I took it out (after using it for 4 hours, that's the normal amount of time I use them), it was pretty much all covered with blood. That was also just today, which is my 3rd day of my period. I usually don't use tampons on the first day (I feel like I'm too sensitive to put anything in there), and when I do I use the super ones, or the regular ones for less time. After that first blood clot I had mentioned, I had a few small blood clots come out the following day. And... I did have MAJOR cramps the first day. So bad I passed out and s**t, which has happened like 3 times in the past. (I posted something in the period forum called "Anemia or something else?"). And if it IS miscarriage, I would've only been actually pregnant for about 3 weeks. Would the miscarriage really be that bad if is was just a 3 week pregnancy? I have heard of them causing problems, but... right now it really isn't a possibility to do anything about it.

It might sound harsh, but if you cannot get to an ob-gyn, you should probably not be having sex. All girls have to see an ob-gyn when they start having sex, even if they have no problems at all. If you're ready for sex, you're ready to be responsible, take care of yourself, and see a doctor when you need to. It sounds like you are trying to take care of yourself and see a doctor, but you also have to be able to control yourself and hold off on the sex if you can't get to one, especially if you are not using birth control right now.
Who knows what the problem is? Could be nothing, could be something huge. You're putting yourself at risk by ignoring it though. Talking to us might give you various information and opinions, but it is not solving the issue or giving you definite answers about what is going on with your body right now.

<3
Yeah, I know. :/ I actually have a post in the period forum called "Anemia, or something else?," and I said that my mom isn't that great, so the doctor isn't someone I'll be seeing anytime soon. But yeah, I don't know anything about miscarriages except basically what they are. So I was wondering if maybe all that happened to me because I had a miscarriage, but probably not since those things have happened to me before. <3
Hm, well can't you see the doctor on your own? And how old are you?
<3
No, unless I got to Planned Parenthood, which I'm actually going to do in a few months. I'm 16. <3
You need to get there now, then. Not in a few months. Also, you should NOT be having sex at your age. It's CLEARLY incredibly stupid of you. You can't take care of a child, and you're obviously not using protection very well, not to mention the fact that you obviously can't take care of yourself. Oh, and it makes you look like a slut having sex so young.
You need to think things through before you go doing them.

A miscarriage is a miscarriage, whether or not you were "just" three weeks along possibly, it's not something to overlook. The only way you're going to get confirmation on any of this is to see a doctor. There is a thing called an incomplete miscarriage that can require a D&C.

This is a situation about how she is apparently not ready for sex because she can't handle it. Some people can at her age, some can't. Nothing wrong with that. I was having sex at her age, but I could handle it. I was on hormonal birth control and having my yearly paps at her age. You can't call people names just because they are different than you are.

I agree with Lorien in saying your post was completely uncalled for. It's CLEARLY incredibly stupid of you to come into a thread like this, and have nothing to offer other than unconstructive insults. Also, it is only YOUR opinion that she 'looks like a slut' for having sex so young. Maybe that's the way you were raised, and what your morals dictate, but not everyone agrees with you, and many consider your comment to be immature and insulting. In the future, please try and rephrase things in a way that can be HELPFUL to people, such as: You need to get there now. Not in a few months. Also, you're obviously not being responsible with protection, and you're self-admitted not in a place where you could take care of a child... especially when you're struggling with caring for yourself. You should try to think things through before you do them.See? Same post, same content, not insulting. Tada.

I have a friend who WANTS to get pregnant at this age, and she's not even seeing a doctor, though she does have birth control. And she's not having sex with just one person. And you can probably agree with me that it's kind of hard not to have sex with someone who you've been with for almost two years. I do understand the fact that it's important... but honestly, I'm doing the best that I can do at the moment. It may sound immature when I say that I can't let my mom know about it, but she is a VERY high tempered woman, she could take drastic measures if it really pisses her off that much. I don't really want to take the chance.

Well that's the best that I can do. And sorry that my actions inconvenience you so much, but it's really none of your business what I choose to do with my life. And no, a slut is someone who sleeps around. I've had sex with the same person, no one else. And I know I can't take care of a child, that's why I would have an abortion if I got pregnant at this age. Also something that you shouldn't be judging me about, since it's me doing it and not you, my opinion not your's. I've had a lot of experience with people treating me like s**t because of my beliefs, and I'm not about to take it from someone on the internet whom I know nothing about.

Oh, and for info. My period lasted 4 days, that's a little short for me. It usually lasts 5-6 days (with the 6th day being spotting. I can usually just wear a panty liner on the 6th day). Actually, today would be the 5th day, and I have spotted a little. So I guess it's more like 5 days.

I don't really want to take the chance. Of course you are not the only girl to have sex without seeing a doctor, but that does not make it right. There are people out there raping toddlers, but I sure don't think that makes it an ok thing to do. It's not about being "okay" or not "okay," it's about being mature enough to handle sex and the consequences of it. However, you're not even willing (or able, maybe I should say) to see a doctor when something does go wrong. Sometimes a person feels that they are ready for sex, and maybe they are, but if they cannot see an ob-gyn, or get birth control, or get medical attention when needed, they would have to be mature enough to control themselves and wait. It's about being mature, taking care of yourself, doing what's right, and having actual answers to your medical questions rather than opinions from people on the internet.

MonosodiumGlutamate Hey, I wasn't calling her names. I told her what it made her look like to most people. No, you told her what she looks like to you. You do not read minds, so do not try to tell us what other people are thinking. It seems most people in here do not agree with you anyway. Also, regardless of what other people may or may not think of her, that's not what she asked. She did not ask for your personal opinion on when it is ok to have sex. So if you have an opinion that is not really relevant, you're probably better off keeping it to yourself. If you want to share opinions more than information, that's fine too but, you're not really in the right place for it.

Well have fun getting banned from this guild, because it will happen if this is a regular attitude for you. :/ And where did I say I couldn't handle it? I plainly said I'm not going to take it.EDIT: Also, just because I posted a problem with my life on here, which is what this guild is for, doesn't mean it's any of your business how I choose to live my life. If you have a problem, well I guess you're just going to have to deal with it, because it's not your place to say if what I do is right or wrong. I didn't ask you for your opinion on my beliefs, and anything you say about them will in no way make me change my ways. All I asked for was some ideas on what going on in my body at the moment, which is something you're clearly not helping me with.
