I'm a sludge guy myself. I find there is something very therapeutic about bands like Burning Witch, Buried At Sea, and Aldebaran. Definitely helps lose some aggression and chill.

I have just recently gotten into Doom but I think I am liking Funeral and Traditional.

For Traditional mainly Solitude Aeturnus. Funeral: Funeral, Maiden Voyage, and Ahab. There are others but I cant seem to remmember them at this time.

I know I am replying to something quite old, but I actually found VOG to be quite similar to Acid Bath. 3nodding
