Nine children? Nine?
On second thought, Ari was kind of glad he wasn't a parent. Nine kids...He didn't think he could deal with that many.
Ari was confused as to what Kazuki meant about 'that set of Rei's family', but he would ask at a later time. When a Kana fox wasn't around.
"Of course I'll treat him well, he's my mate." Honestly. How could she think he wouldn't treat Kazuki well?
Well, she was a Kana fox, and they were notoriously bad tempered...He wouldn't be surprised if it was common to abuse one's mate in that tribe.

Tanith flared a bit and dug her claws into the dirt. She then sighed and shook her head.
"Simple. Even though my son had kids he hasnt been happy. At least not since the childern were born. Now dont think it's cause he didnt want to be a father...No its not that..." Tanith moved away her claws digging into the dirt. She was angered.
"His mate has damaged his family. Along with our own. If it were possible I would remove her r at least speak to Ichigo about it. Yet I have no proof. But I cant see it in my sons eyes its there. Especially in his childern." Tanith sighed and shook her head again. She looked at both elders.
"We may be cruel and evil but that doesnt mean we dont get hurt.."
Kazuki frowned. He didn't like this his family was suffering. Though he wondered who was Rei's family. Tking a step forward watching his sister Kazuki spoke.
"Who is in Rei's family, sister?" Kazuki then sat down to listen and brace himself. His furs were on end. He had a terrible feeling about this.
"You should know brother. There are in your Tribe. Rando is Rei's brother and only family. Along with his mate Anajfey. The wetch who nearly attacked My granddaughter Michi." Taniths eyes flared as she said Anajfeys names. As if it were the name of somethign fowl and disgusting.

"Rendo and Anjafey are the cause of this?" Ari asked, not quite able to believe that. Anjafey, nearly attacking another modifox? He knew that she was tough, could probably hold her own in a fight, but to stoop something like that...Lunarie foxes were supposed to be above such things!
"Why? Why did she do that?" Ari asked coolly. He supposed Anjafey had been provoked, but even so, what could Michi have possibly done that it was bad enough to warrant that?
He was sure that Tanith would tell the story to favor her granddaughter. And he was sure that, when asked, Anjafey and Rendo would tell the story to favor themselves. How was he supposed to find out the truth from that, then? He wasn't sure. But he supposed he would have to find a way.

Tanith focused on the blue elder. Her eyes narrowing a bit then relaxing.
"Would it matter if I told you? You would favor them over my granddaughter. So would it really matter if I told you?" Tanith eyes seemed to harden again as she watched him. She looked to her brother.
"Would brother? You know I don't pick sides..."
Kazuki sighed and nodded. It was going to be hard to believe but he knew that his sister never picked sides even if she prideful. She only speaks of what she saw. Though she will defend her family if wrong.
"Alright sister speak. I promise not to baised. " He then looked to Ari hoping he would assure his sister. That way they may know the truth. He still didn't like how this was going.

"Perhaps I would, although I would not do so intentionally."
He wondered if Tanith was as honest as she said. Everyone liked to believe the best of themselves, but everyone had flaws, flaws that they were not always aware of.
Kazuki seemed to trust that Tanith would not be biased, and so Ari would have to trust in his mate's judgment.

Tanith nodded. She sat down and began with how they all meet up. The kits included. She shook her head a bit as she got to main point.
"Michi, one of my grandchildern, has a very distant nature. I believe it is due to the fact that their mother didn't really want them around. So your very intelligent Rendo told his mate Anjafey to try to covnerse with Michi. I warned her not to. Yet she didn't seem to listen as she angered Michi who ended up insulting her. " Tanith sighed remembering that day all too well. She glanced at the ground for a moment and then turned to face them again.
"I warned her not to push it any further. Yet she refused to listen to me. Finally Michi said something that made her snap and I jumped in. Even though I repeated told her to stand down. She was foolish." Tanith then looked at both elders her eyes dark and serious.
"I would be careful with her. If provoked she can cause trouble for your tribe."
Kazuki listened very carefully but his eyes betrayed his emotions. His eyes widen once hsi sister was done and he shook his head.
"That can't be true. Anjafey has always been a calm fox. How could she have nearly attacked a kit?!" Kazuki turned to face his mate as if he would know how this happened as if he could explain why this happened.

Rendo doing something foolish like that, to try to help someone...Yes, Ari could see that. Anjafey listening to Rendo? Ari wasn't so sure. Unless Rendo annoyed Anjafey a lot...Yes, that might do it.
Although once Tannith told her not to, Anjafey ought to have good reason to leave Michi alone.
Unless Anjafey decided that the exactly last thing she wanted to do was listen to a Kana fox, and thus speak to Michi because she had been told not to.
Ari hoped Anjafey wasn't that stupid, though.
A kit? Michi had been a kit, then?
Anjafey wouldn't.
"What did Michi say?" Ari asked, trying to think what could be said that would make Anjafey attack a kit.

Tanith looked at Ari and raised an eyebrow.
"Well she basically insulted Anajfey. Though what made her snap was Michi calling her fat." Tanith only shurged her shoulders. She didn't understand why the female was so sensitive about her weight. Maybe her mate bugged her alot about it. She didn't know or care. She glanced at her paw and began grooming it.
Kazuki sighed. From what he could tell this was Rendo's fault. He urged Anjafey to go. Then because of his constant teasing of Anjafey and her weight she snapped when Michi said something about it. KAzuki just shook his head.
"How are our tribe relations?" Kazuki looked at his sister as she groomed her paw.

While not a direct insult to the Moon Fox (the only thing Ari had been able to think of that would make Anjafey snap), calling Anjafey fat probably would be something else that could make her snap.
But still, a little kit?
Ari knew that Rendo teased Anjafey about her weight, but Ari hadn't thought the teasing was that bad. It had seemed like one of those 'I do this annoying thing because I love you, and I know you know why I'm doing it' sort of things.
But maybe he was wrong?
As far as he knew, though, Anjafey and Rendo were still together, though...
He couldn't figure that pair out at all. And he gave up trying. He just listened to hear Tannith's answer to Kazuki's question.

Tanith looked at her brother for a moment studying him. Then she turned away for a moment and moved around. Then she stoped and looked at him.
"I for one am ok with you brother and your mate. Rendo and Anjafey no. I will tolerate them but nothing more. In terms of the rest of your tribe I do not know. As for the rest of the Kana Tribe. I do not know how they feel. That will depend on them. You could just say we still are neutral." Tanith then shrugged watching the two elders.
Kazuki nodded understanding. Then he turned to look at his mate.
"Best we keep this to ourselves and not question Anjafey about it." He nodded at his sister. He wondered if there was more to say.
"So how is the family and Ichigo?"

Neutral with the Kana tribe? That was fine with Ari. Kana didn't particularly appeal to him, anyway.
Although Tannith did seem fairly decent, for a Kana fox.
"Really? I think it would be best if we did question Anjafey about it. We can't have something like this happening again." Even if Ari wasn't particularly fond of the Kana tribe, it would be stupid to make enemies with them. It would be stupid to make enemies with any other tribe. Lunarie was one of the smallest tribes there were, and so they wouldn't have much chance in any conflict. And to have members of the tribe going around, and attacking kits from other tribes...Well, that seemed like a pretty good way to make enemies. And they could not have that!

Tanith glanced at Ari and smiled.
"Well he has a good head on his shoulders. You should because should Ichigo look into this matter he might declare we are enemies." Tanith watched them carefully then looked up at the sky. It was dark now. She gave a soft yawn and then looked at them again
"I guess so..." Kazuki didnt like to have conflict with anyone and this was goign to be conflict no matter what. He sighed and shooked his head. This was going to be one of those nights. He sighed and looked over at Ari was right. He just wanted to let it go but that wasnt right.
"Alright Ari I guess we will talk to her about it." He nodded a bit sadly and sighed.

Enemies with Kana...That was definitely something he didn't want. Even if Kana was small, with all the bad attitude in that tribe, Ari bet most, if not all of the foxes there knew how to fight, and fight well. No, they definitely could not afford that.
"We have no choice, really." Ari wished the matter would resolve itself, but that was stupid and irresponsible. He was one of the elders of Lunarie, and he couldn't go running away from responsibility. That would just hurt the tribe.

Tanith nodded then yawned again. She got up and stretched a bit.
"Well while you both may be nocturnal I on the other hand am not." She stretched again and yawned once more. Then she began to make her leave. She stopped to look back at them.
"Kazuki your very lucky, Ari is a great mate to have. Heh and pretty too." Tanith laughed and then went ahead and disappeared behind a tree.
"Heh Thanks sis.." Kazuki couldn't help blush and then he looked at Ari. It was then he realised Ari had followed him but why.
"Ari why did you follow me here?" Kazuki watched his mate carefully. Did his mate not trust him? Did he really have less faith in him. Did he come off as oen that would betray his mate. After all Ari is the one with daughters.

Ari blushed sligthly, and looked away from Tanith. What was it with all the Kana foxes hitting on him? It was...weird. And awkward. Partially because he had a mate, and partially because he had never ever had feelings for a female.
He fidgeted when Kazuki asked. He really didn't have any good answer for that, and had been hoping that it wouldn't come up.
"I was wondering where you had gone," Ari said, shifting nervously, knowing it sounded stupid. And it was. But he had gotten so used to spending every moment with Kazuki, it just felt so weird without his mate with him, and so he had to see where Kazuki had gone.
