I think one of the problems is that criminally insane people tend to blame god. A severely mentally ill woman claimed she had a "voice from heaven" inspire her, and the woman went on to start the creationist movement and believed that black people where the result of humans having sex with animals, and spawned a whole sling of christian pseudo-science and claimed that masturbating caused brain damage.

anyways, i agree with this (the evil part), and this is what i'm talking about. I'm not saying that all christians are evil, just the ones I seem to meet. I was also very upset last night, so my apoligies if i offended anyone, i honestly wasnt aiming for that.

All of this is just like where there scriptures say " If your right hand offend you cut it off" Then some freak cuts off their hand and blames God. People like that make me sick, but it's just because they are insane and or ignorant. Lots of people claim to hear God and actually hear demonic spirits talking to them. That is why these people are considered evil. Also some scriptures, like the one about the hand and whatnot are not to be understood by the unsaved, the bible clearly states that. It's the reason that Jesus spoke in parables...alright I'm going way off topic. sweatdrop

Saying that christians are evil because some psycho says god told him to murder his children with a salad fork is like saying Dungeons and Dragons is evil because a random looney without the ability to distinguish between reality and fantasy jumped out of a 40 story building because he thought he could cast feather fall. stare

Its k, but I think your thinking of jehovas witnesses, me and my friends are christians, but we like freedom and warship mixed, so we belove in jesus, we just don't praqy alot.

I am well aware that some people think DnD is evil, I was using them as a comparison because the DnD haters are so ridiculous.

Actually it isn't ridiculous. Lots of people see anything pertaining to magic as bad because witches use magic. Anything that even relates to magic or witchcraft is bad because it " opens the door" to want to dwelve deeper into that realm of things. i.e. oujia(sp?) boards , spell casting, palm reading.

There's a difference between not enjoying DnD and thinking that it will turn people into spell-weilding neurotic devil-worshippers.
