Anjafey looked, with Loki right next to her. Anjafey sighed. "Rendo's close behind. Should we wait to see who this is once we're all together?"
Loki stood back up. "I'll follow these prints, and try to head whoever this is away from Sigal." He stood up, shaking his head as the prints followed her path exactly. "He may be closer to her than it looks from here."

Amira muttered, "This is not good." After surveying the prints for a moment longer she made her decision. "I believe that Anjafey and I should wait here for Rendo. We'll catch up with you, Loki, and then determine who should go to gather others. If you run into trouble or need our help in some way, you'll have to signal us. Does anyone have any ideas on how that should work?"
Amira's mind was currently going a million miles a minute. Her worry for Sigal was being overwhelmed by her rational thoughts and planning. If they ran into trouble, she intended to see to it that they were well prepared.

Loki shook his head. "We don't have time for signals. If he's as close as I think he is, I can't stay here for long." He started walking, then called over his shoulder. "If you hear a loud cry of pain, that can be your signal." He smiled softly. "I'll see you guys soon," he said determined. He ran off in the direction the tracks followed.
Anjafey sat down in the dirt, waiting for Rendo. Rendo and the stupid collar he was playing with that was wasting time.

Wincing at the thought of their so-called signal, Amira sighed. Silently praying to the Moon that both Loki and Sigal would be all right, she settled down next to Anjafey to await the arrival of Rendo. Hopefully, they would not be too late.
With these depressing thoughts in her mind, Amira almost felt that she did not have enough worry left to harp over her situation with Nato. Almost being the key word. "As if things couldn't get any worse." she muttered to herself.

Anjafey chuckled at Amira. "I don't care what you say, I don't think you need to be worrying about that." She grinned, but there wasn't much life behind it; she was worried about Sigal and Loki. "I knew it'd be you two that ended up with the complicated hook up. ALways did."

Rendo finaly caught up with Anjafey and Amira out of breaht, for once he had miss tracked the scents and had gone in the wrong dirrection. He sat down heavily and siad. "I got the scents mixed up with...a snake....I thought it was Anjafey..." He said and laid down panitng.

It sounded like the 'mountain lion' wasn't chasing her any more, and Sigal glanced behind her. No lion. So she allowed herself to slow down, feeling exhausted from running so long and so fast. But she couldn't stop now. She had to make sure that Daddy was safe, and hadn't been attacked by a mountain lion or a bear or something! But the fastest she could force herself to walk was at a jog, now.

Anjafey blinked. "Just how tight is that collar? It seems to be affecting the circulation of blood to your brain." How in the world did she smell like a snake? She shook her head. "Lets follow Loki, then. No yelps of pain, that's good."

Rendo looked at her still short on breath. "Yeah, I was playing with it earlyer and it got tighter....do you think you can lossen it some...a lot. I can't run like this, it's impossible, I barley got any were near you, if it wasn't for you stoping...." He said as he laid on his side.

Anjafey sighed anxioulsy. They needed to get moving. She nodded, and quickly loosened the collar. "There. Now come, Loki and SIgal are both in danger at the moment."

Rendo got up finaly getting enough breath to get working. "Thanks....does yours fit right?" He asked her as he got ready. "No need to worry, I can take anything, just name it." he sia to her calmly.

Anjafey snorted. "Whoever it is, they've given Loki cause to worry. And if gigantic Loki can be worried about it, I'll worry about you too."

Rendo watched Anjafey as she snorted then shot back. "It's mainly the poof fur, I could take him if he wants to start something..." He siad not wanting to get shown up by Loki.

Rolling her eyes at the other's slight bickering, Amira spoke. "Come on, both of you. We should try to catch up with Loki now. Poofy or not, he may need our help if something is stalking Sigal." With that said, she got up and began to once again follow the trail, looking behind her a little to make sure that the couple was following her.

Thinking she heard something following alongside her, Sigal turned to look. But there was nothing there. Was whatever it was hiding? Was she just imagining being followed by a mountain lion because of what Rendo said? She didn't know, but the sounds, imagined or not, really scared her, and so she changed direction, and started running away from whatever was there to her right.
