The point is that it's not any great important thing whether someone's 'kin or not. Well, im not saying all are fake. Im just saying I doubt all that, "I am a chosen one and ive been to heaven, and I will save the world *egotrip, egotrip*". 1m in ur H34viN, S4v1ing ur w0rLD! Hah! I made it first! Sorry, Yvaine!

They're too humble, and too quiet.Yar, which is why I doubt the ones who flaunt their 'chosen skillz' xd

I'm sure there are a few who are confident enough to talk about it, but you can almost certainly tell those from the pack of "Chozen."

Can you picture it? A group of 5 celestial mens who were chosen to well, do something?

My experience with the real 'kin is they seem either apologetic when they mention what they are, or grumpy about it. lol

I do it because I can!
Now with kin, its true. We don't like to be ostentacious about it for obvious reasons. However, celestial and demonic otherkin are slightly different in temperment. They seem to feel that they are generally more accepted so they have a hayday. Guess they are the equivalent of the popular kin-types.

I've seen some of them get a bit frantic about something they believe they're supposed to be doing. Then they get depressed when it doesn't come together the way they think it should. I don't know, demonkin seem more laid back to me...it's the angelkin who tend to get up tight and anxious. Demonkin are more like "hmm...this sounds crazy, no one's going to believe me if I tell them this...aw, who cares what they think anyhow". lol

People who are insecure about something either suck it all inside, or shout it to the world and denounce anything else, trying to eradicate the doubts inside themselves. I think it takes a certain certainty, a confidence, to be able to let it just be.

MANY otherkin are insecure with their feelings, because those feelings seem so bizarre, even to them. Most outgrow it over time, though.

In varying degrees, probably for many of us, entertaining feelings of doubt stemming from a non-believing world gets to you sooner or later. I do think you can outgrow it, though. Or maybe it's just you try to deny magick, but magick keeps holding on to you.

For some reason people find it easier to accept that someone is the reincarnation of a living animal--rather than their being an elf in a human body. I personally don't think there's any real difference, but many do.

But really, Azana, how many of them do you actually believe to be true "otherkin"? On a side note, the stuff about the boy band made me think of "FingerBang". And then their song popped into my head, and now it won't leave. If you have no idea who FingerBang is, you need to watch more South Park.
