Tangia dismissed Olieiv when Ayame didn't seem interested in him, giving a faint protective smile as she saw her sister's attention shift. It was funny. She used to be the one to back down, and even still she told most people that peace was the best answer for everything, she felt as if she would fight tooth and nail to keep Ayame by her side. At least, until it was time for them to go home. Surely home was safe. Maybe. Her smile faded, twisted into a worried frown. "Ayame," she started, not sure if she really wanted to ask, "Do you like your new mother?"

Ayame turned her attentions back to her sister at the question, and after a moment it dawned on her why Tangia had asked. "Yes, she...Lavi, is kind and doesn't ever hurt me. She's always worried for me if she loses track of me. and i find myself worried too...for her." The twin speech came out in perfectly formed sentences as the "understood" words might seem garble to some others. She gave Tangia a heart warming glance and stumbled back to common gaian speech.
"Maybe, meet her some time? Did Tangia find a new mother too?"

Tangia nodded, glad to see that her sister had finally found someone that cared about her. "I live with Miss Ul, in a big family. I have a lot of brothers and sisters, I think you would like some of them." Definately not Jack, but probably Liang. It was hard not to like Liang, she was creative and friendly, and she was fine just sitting in the quiet. Though, maybe Ayame would want someone a little more interactive. "We have a big house and a big yard, maybe you and your mom could visit some time?"

Ayame grinned down at her twin at the suggestion. "Lavi wouldn't mind, she'll come, i'd be glad to meet your new family.!
Ayame stared into the air a moment as she tried to think of something else she had meant to say, only to shake her head in sorrow. then something dawned on her.
"OH, I get to draw now, i'm getting better then before!"

Drawing. This made Tangia perk up. She'd heard somewhere that art was a good way to look into what someone was really feeling. At least, that's what she had been trying to do when she had helped Liang with her wall poetry. Maybe she should try something like that herself. Maybe not drawing, she had some trouble with that, but writing, like Liang. "I didn't know you used to draw," she admitted, feeling a bit bad for that.

Ayame hung her head, sorrowed but she understood, it wasn't Tangia's fault. "Momma no tell you...I wanted away from her bad, and i hoped she would want away too....I asked to be sent to that big art school, the one we had all the ad's for...those were mine... Do you 'member when you wanted to go to the festival? That's when i asked about the school, with momma the way she was....you know..."
Ayame frowned at her speech. she had been getting better, but she oculdn't manage to do any more then fumble sentences together...when she caught up to her sister she knew things would fall together, but it aggravated her. Soon the two would be even again, equal, true twins.
"But, i'm happy now, i get to draw, get to be with you." She leaned over her sister to hug her again, more happy to have her back and know she was okay.

Tangia frowned, feeling her heart sink at this. She'd gotten everything she ever asked for, and it seemed Ayame had gotten nothing. Why hadn't she ever seen that before? Not that she would have stood up to mother about it. Still, it would have been nice to be aware of it. Was there anything she could do to start to make up for it? Suddenly, she put her hands to her neck, removing the necklace she wore bearing the red wish stone. "Take this," she said, holding it out to her, "I already got my wish, I have you."

Ayame stared down in awe at the necklace, her eye's drawn to the stone in surprise. She reached out slowly and touched the stone, unsure what to make of it besides it's beauty, though the words Tangia spoke touched her more then anything else. "Is this...a wish stone?" she cupped her hands and held the stone lightly, Tangia's wish stone? "I...I.." How could she say anything, she knew she doubted she'd ever wish on it, she knew she would only always wear it, to remind her of her sister when she wasn't with her. She took it gently and fumbled to try to put it on as she spoke, making a little more sense, "I wear it forever Tangia. I no know what i'd wish for..."
She continued fumbling with the necklace before smiling weakly at her sister. "Tangia help Ayame put it on?" She flushed slightly.

She nodded silently, though the blush on her cheeks showed she was glad that Ayame liked the gift. Reaching forward, her nimble fingers took the chain and undid the clasp, and as she walked around behind Ayame to put it on, she started to explain where it had come from. "Yeah, it's a wish stone, but I was keeping it for something really important. I didn't just wish to see you because I didn't think you'd want to see me. I've had it for almost a year," she said, lowering the necklace so that the charm rested on Ayame's collarbone as she tried a few times to clip it. The latch went, and she smiled, "There, now I can always be with you."

Ayame looked down at the stone with a slight smile. "Never really apart..." she whispered and stroked the stone slightly. That would be good, with her sister, in spirit even if not truly, at her side all would be well.
She paused and then looked sadly at the ground. "I have to go...Lavi want's me home in time for lunch. When can Ayame see you again, sister?" Ayame turned about and clung to her sister, knowing she didn't want to leave but needed to, and there was Tangia's wish stone too; a way to always be together. All the same her heart still sank at having to leave from her reunion with her sister.

"As soon as possible, Ayame," She responded, wrapping her arms around her sister to give her a squeeze that would last until whenever that happened to be. Thinking for a moment, she backed off and lifted the stone to the end of it's chain, leaned down, and kissed its shiny surface. "There," she added, "Now it loves you as much as I do." This wasn't meant to be a dramatic thing, she only meant it as a gesture of comfort, but she found herself feeling something she had only started to feel today. It was a funny thing, to find someone you had lost, but it was good. Surely. With that, she reluctantly got to her feet, brushed off her dress, and turned to leave. "If you ever really need to see me, just go to the lake and pray on that stone, ok?" She said solemnly, turning to show her sister one last smile before she started to walk away toward the main building where her ride home was waiting.
