Kyou sat in front of his desk, writing an invitation letter to Jeremy for his shop's opening next week. Kyou also have plans to ask dear old Jeremy to help out with some stuff in his shop, he is sure that the offer that he's going to make will interest Jeremy greatly -- Which old geezer in the world doesn't crave for a bottle of youth potion? Kyou snickered at the thought when he was reminded of Jeremy's expression when they met a few weeks ago, it was a mix of shock and horror. Shock because Kyou is not aged 40+ anymore, and horror because he didn't share this secret with him for so long.
"What are you doing there?" Lazarus peeked over Kyou's left shoulder, giving Kyou a small shock as he was reminiscing what happened that day during the meeting. His fire rune in the red smoke shining an eerie red light around him.
"I.. I'm just writing an invitation to an old friend!" Kyou replied.
"Oh, so you do have a life outside of this lab eh?" Lazarus teased, snickering.
Kyou grumbled in annoyance. A month ago, Kyou finally succeeded in his experiment and created his very first Raevan, which is this floating red... thing. Ever since then Kyou shutted himself up in his lab in fear that someone might come and steal away his creation and his idea before he had a solid theory on paper for it. You can say it's a scientist's obsession. He didn't let Silveh or any of the people in the premise enter his lab too. You might wonder how can Kyou survive in this situation, but that isn't the important matter at hand right now.
In the very beginning, Lazarus was very quiet and very docile. He would listen to whatever Kyou says and obey his every command. But as time passes Lazarus's personality seems to slowly surfaced. He's getting extremely rude, very sarcastic and the worst part is he seems to enjoy ridiculing Kyou!
Kyou sighed. The good thing is that his research papers are almost done. So he will be able to bring Lazarus to the public without anymore worries. Which in truth, Kyou couldn't wait to do it!! It would be nice to let loose Lazarus on someone else other than himself once in a while.

Kyoupiruchi "Silveh!! SILVEH!!!" Kyou barged out of his lab doors and out of the door leading to the reception area, holding onto someone's hand as he look around. The someone had beautiful long flowy hair tied at the end, and fair, soft skin. He... er well, judging by the little adam's apple on his throat Kyou thinks it's a boy. Although his appearance really resembles more of a female. The young raevan that just got out of the tank seemed to look mildly confused as he followed Kyou along. "Silveh!! Where are you??" Kyou cried excitedly, he can't wait to show him to Silveh!! Lazarus, blushing a little, peeked out of Kyou's lab doors. Staring at the other raevan's back outside the reception door. He stretched out his hand, as if he wanted to stop the reception door from closing as the doors slide shut. Koyuki Shirogane Crash!The sound of a rack of test tubes being knocked over resonated throughout the lab, and Eva winced. That Kyou and that Koyuki... she felt like their babysitter! Shaking her head, she went to get the broom and the pan and called for the other assistants. "KYOU! DID I KILL ANOTHER PERSON WITHOUT KNOWING IT?" Koyuki looked up, spectacles askew, "Ohmygod and there's a guy with you! And a guy behind you! OH MY GOD! Are they spirits?!?" Kyoupiruchi "Err, no... the guy back there is Lazarus..." Kyou turned around to look at the already closed reception door. Lazarus quickly disappeared from view as soon as he saw Kyou turning around. "Oh yeah!! And this, Silveh, is your new Raevan." he gently tugged at the blue boy's hand, suggesting him to move forward. He stared at Kyou for a second, and turned his gaze towards Silveh before he floated forwards. Koyuki Shirogane She straightened her glasses and peered at this.. 'Raevan' figure before her. What is this? Did Kyou develop babies too? Where did... this... thing come from? "Are you a guy or a girl?" She asked, bluntly, unsure if this 'Raevan' could answer back. From the name, she was expecting him to caw at her or something equally crude. Kyoupiruchi Kyou let go of the boy's hands, letting him decide his actions on his own. The touch of his skin was so soft, so tender. The perverted part of Kyou is already missing the feel of his skin. "It's a boy." Kyou replied shortly, "I were developing them all this while in my lab!! This boy is the second Raevan in the family!!" Kyou smiled broadly, obviously very happy with the new Raevan that he's going to give to Silveh, as a gift for letting him stay in the laboratory for free. Koyuki Shirogane "Do you have a name?" "...""... a name?" "... n-na--""Screw it, you don't have a name, do you?" Koyuki poked the boy to make sure that he wasn't a spirit haunting her, but merely a person who is missing half of his body. Fingertips brushed against soft flesh, and she pulled back. He's solid. The Raevan, clueless at what's going on, tilted his head to the side and gazed at Koyuki, questioningly. "You're Sevilin, okay? We're good!" Kyou's notorious little niece decided, on a whim, to give the boy a girl's name. Because a boy-ish name simply didn't suit him. "Thank you, uncle, he's very lovely," she turned around and told her uncle, hugging him, "You do conjure up interesting experiments! A Raevan, you say?" "Lazarus?" the timid voice of Sevilin cut in. Apparently he had learned the first Raevan's name a little while before and had no clue what it meant. But since Koyuki was making so much of this Noise, he can too! "... Lazarus?" Koyuki looked at Kyou, confused, "What's that?" Kyoupiruchi Kyou was a little shocked, the first word that came out of the new Raevan's mouth was... Lazarus??! This sure is an interesting fact. "Wait a little while ok Silveh? I guess I haven't introduce Lazarus to you yet..." he turned around and ran back into his lab. A minute later he pulled another Raevan out of his lab, this one however, had gold tanned skin, dressed in red, had silver and red long hair, his face features makes him look sort of fierce. Kyou was surprised though, that Lazarus had cooled down so much after Sevilin's appearance. "I guess Lazzie needs a playmate after all..." Kyou thought, smiling gladly at the Raevan. "This is Lazarus, he's the first Raevan I created!!" Kyou said, showing the unusually quiet Lazarus to Silveh. Koyuki Shirogane "... the first Raevan, Lazarus... and yet they look different, uncle, what do you use to create them?" the now curious Koyuki prodded Lazarus too, and he was solid too. So she wasn't being haunted for killing a stray cat! Joy! But he seemed like a bully --- or at least, he looked like one. Maybe he's just really gentle under a gruff exterior! "Hi, handsome-Lazarus-that-Kyou-created!" the female scientist chirped happily to the Raevan, having thoroughly inspected him. "Handsome Lazarus? Created?" Sevilin added, looking more and more confused by the moment. He floated around Kyou, examining him, and then floated around Lazarus, peering into his face. He figured that: Creation-man and Weird-lady look the same. Lazarus-man and himself look the same. ... DISCOVERY! Kyoupiruchi Lazarus frowned and hid behind Kyou, silver strands hiding that small blush on his face. Not that you could see clearly with his tanned skin anyway. And he doesn't like being touched like that by the unknown lady. "Lazarus, what are you doing hiding behind me?!" Kyou cried, pulling the raevan out from his limited hiding space behind Kyou. "Have some manners and say 'hi' to your aunt!!" Kyou pointed a finger at Silveh. "Huh??!! So this is the lady that owns this lab??!!" Lazarus thought, unbelievably. He had read enough of Kyou's diaries to know how he ended up here, he just never got the chance to wander around the premise much, being locked up by Kyou all this while. He glared at Silveh and muttered a short greeting. However, he was quickly distracted by the younger raevan. Koyuki Shirogane Koyuki's eyebrow shot up, "Whoa wait, Aunt?! I'd think he'd be my cousin or something... unless you decided to be his grandfather." She clutched her head and mumbled about family relations, and how she is too young to be anyone's aunt! Ack! No! She's still in the prime of her youth! And perfectly legible for things such as bungee jumping! Sevilin pulled up his long hair and played with the ends as he looked at the people before him, delicate hands running through sky-blue strands, "Lazarus?"He looked at Kyou, "Kyou?"And then, lastly, at Koyuki, "Weird lady?""... HEY! WHERE DID YOU LEARN THAT?" Koyuki looked up fromm her mumblings, "I so did not teach you that while we were stan-- er, floatin-- er... stand-floating here! Gurk! Augh!" Kyoupiruchi "oh... well..." Kyou frowned, thinking hard and sorting the thoughts in his mind. He got a little confused there, he isn't very bright when it comes to family relations. "But he's only a month old, and you're 18!!" Kyou shot back. While Lazarus just float there on the same spot, his heart skipped a little beat as the other raevan mentioned his name. This feeling is really odd and new to Lazarus, so far the only emotion that's strongest in him was his anger, but being around the new raevan seemed to cool him down a little. Kyou steal a peek at the unusually calm Lazarus and signaled Silveh to move closer. Koyuki Shirogane "No!" Koyuki yelped and griped, "I'm 17! There's a big difference! I cannot, cannot be his aunt!" She was about to throw a tantrum when Kyou silently told her to 'behave and come over' or something like that, and she inched over, pouting. Just 'cause he's older doesn't mean he gets to boss her around! Apparently Sevilin didn't know what to do anymore, but merely watched Lazarus curious and played with his hair, his gaze occassionally flickering towards his new 'mother' and ... 'great uncle'? Kyoupiruchi When Silveh got closed enough Kyou leaned over and whispered in Silveh's ear. "I think we should get the both of them together more... Sevilin seems to have an..." he eyed the blue-haired Raevan before he continue, "...interesting aspect that could calm Lazarus down..." with that Kyou drawn back to his usual position and added, "If you care for the safety of your laboratory, I suggest you listen to what I say." he nodded solemnly, a serious expression on his face tells that he's not goofing around or anything. Lazarus on the other hand, doesn't know what to do but to droop his head, trying to avoid Sevilin's gaze as he continued to toy with Lazarus's hair. He doesn't like staring at Sevilin, it somehow makes his inside churn and he doesn't like that sensation. Koyuki Shirogane Koyuki pursed her lips and thought for a moment before replying, "Fine, no problem with that. I'm going to drag Sevvie around the lab anyway... Artemis would probably chase him out of the house if I wasn't there." Sevilin thought that the other was interesting. His hair is... not-blue! And he's darker too... he looked at his hand and at Lazarus's hand, wondering if that was normal. Ooh. His guardian sighed and added, "Yeah, okay. For the safety of the lab. It explains this paper, doesn't it?" She slipped out the receipt she had found for 'four cans of white paint, size large' the other day, "You're lucky Eva didn't see this." Kyoupiruchi "oops..." Kyou looked away, avoiding Silveh's gaze as he saw what she was holding. "Err... there were some... issues with Lazarus's powers..." he said, almost mumbling. "He's fire elemental you see...." Lazarus raised his hands as he saw that the other raevan was looking at them. Comparing it to the other raevan's hands, his hands are a larger, and of course, more tanned and rough. Suddenly, he realised he doesn't know the other raevan's name. He peered up and stared at the other raevan, who seemed to be interested at his hands, and asked, "M... may I know what your name is...?"Koyuki Shirogane "... uh, I hope you fixed it all up with Eva noticing... I do that all the time. Kekeke," she chuckled, "It's all good. I won't blame you, my dear uncle. Sevvie makes up for it all." Sevilin pressed his hand onto Lazarus's and blinked in surprise. His hand was bigger, and now Lazarus was making Noises at him. He recognized the word name, and pointed at himself. "N-name? Sevilin...?" he replied softly, his voice a light tenor and ending his words with an air of question. That's what the weird lady said... and... well... that's his name? Kyoupiruchi "Don't worry Silveh!! The place look brand new!!" Kyou smiled confidently at Silveh. He had been working hard repairing and patching up his lab while Lazarus was distracted by the forming Raevan in one of his tanks in the lab, clearly he's interested at expecting another Raevan like him to be 'born' into the world. Kyou hoped he didn't missed any spots that Eva could see though. Lazarus's emotions seemed to be calmer now that he started to talk with the other Raevan. "Your name is Sevilin..?" he asked, a little confused. Maybe it's because Sevilin just came out of the tank less than an hour ago, his grasp for normal conversational words are quite low? Lazarus wondered, how does he sound like when he first came out of those tanks? Eyes still down, Lazarus had held onto one of Sevilin's hands, admiring his soft skin. Koyuki Shirogane Sevilin nodded, pretty sure that his name thing was referring to the 'Sevilin' that the lady had mentioned before. The water element-based Raevan seemed to absorb up information quickly, but just wasn't quite sure what to do with all the information. Koyuki grinned, "Good! And now... let's do something about those two," she lowered her voice, "They look like they're a married couple." She winced at the sight of them. Kyoupiruchi Lowering his voice too, he whispered "Married couple?? Maybe it's a little too early to assume that..." he eyed both Raevans sneakily. Both of them contrast each other too much, it's just a little hard to imagine both of them together. He knows when Sevilin found out about Lazarus's hot temper, he'll get a little shock. Well, if lazarus is going to show that side of him in front of Sevilin... "My... my name is Lazarus..." Lazarus placed a hand on his chest. "As you might already know..." Lazarus said, he thought of introducing himself formally to Sevilin. One good thing he learnt from Kyou is to have good manners, to the person he doesn't hate anyway... Koyuki Shirogane Protesting, Koyuki pointed at them, "Well, they LOOK like it. I'm not... assuming anything. But look at them!!" She looked at them again... as they 'held hands'. Didn't Kyou say something about Lazarus being one month old, and Sevvie being one day old? Isn't it a bit early? She barely knew anything about her new Raevan! "Lazarus," Sevilin repeated, smiled, and did something that Koyuki could only describe as a cross between a bow and a curtsy. He just seemed so innocent and... Koyuki would weep for his future later in the privacy of her room. He was about to enter a very messed up family. Kyoupiruchi "mmm... we won't know for sure..." Kyou grumbled as he stare at the couple. They do seem that they're in their own world thought, like Kyou and Silveh are invisible or something. But still, Kyou wasn't looking too far into the future, as long as Sevilin could keep Lazarus quiet and calm like this, he'll let Lazarus see Sevilin everyday! "Take good care of him", Kyou said to Silveh. Lazarus is getting more used to Sevilin now, he felt calmer being around Sevilin rather than caved up in Kyou's lab. He raised his left hand and pointed at it, saying "Hand..." he decided that it's probably a better idea to teach Sevilin some simple words first, since he doesn't know what to say to him at the moment. Koyuki Shirogane "Yeah, yeah. I hope you have more of these children around, so the two of them don't go into their own little candyland like this," Koyuki shooked her head and made a face, "Anywa--" "Hand!" Sevilin had processed what Lazarus said and immediately floated towards Koyuki like a child and grabbed her hand, "Hand!""... yes, dear, hand." "Ne?" He looked up again and looked around, eyes searching for something, he seemed... slightly frantic, and Koyuki poked him. "What's wrong?" He replied by pointing to his ears, and towards the wind chimes that his 'mother' had hung next to one of the lab's few open windows. Then he smiled and floated towards it. "... he's kinda weird," she remarked, "I'll go show him around, I suppose, see you uncle... and Lazarus. Hey! Sevvie! Say good-bye to Lazarus!" She reached out and hugged her uncle good-bye. "Good-bye?" Sevvie floated back and hugged Lazarus in imitation of Koyuki, and zoomed back towards the wind chime. "... oy," Koyuki grumbled and followed him, "Weird kid." Kyoupiruchi Lazarus float on the spot, stoned as Sevilin hugged him. He blushed really hard when his skin came in contact with Sevilin's skin, feeling Sevilin's face brushed against his. "Oh my God..." Kyou smacked his hand on his own forehead, staring at the situation. Turning towards Silveh he said, "Sevilin do learn things very fast though... probably... a little too fast..." He's a little worried right now, worried that Sevilin might've sparked the wrong things in Lazarus. Probably it's a good time to get back right now. Kyou walked over to the stoned Lazarus and said, "C'mon Lazzie, i think it's time we get back into the lab..." he grabbed Lazarus's warm hand and half tugged, half pulled him back into the lab, hope he'll snap out of that stoned (and flushed?) gaze soon.

Lazarus leaned on the opened window sill, his arm stretched out, holding a little wish doll in his hand.
He let out a heavy sigh as he kept on staring at the wish doll hanging on it's little string on Laz's finger. Lazarus got this little wish doll from a shop called Cocoway. It was rare that Kyou brought him out to get groceries with him, though Lazarus doesn't really like going out either. People kept giving him weird looks and he didn't liked it.
But he found a small shop selling these wish dolls. They were really cute, so he asked Kyou to get one for him. But little does Kyou knew that the doll wasn't for Lazarus. Lazarus ordered the maker to make one to Laz's likeness, or at least tried her best to make the doll look as close to Laz as possible. It was a gift for Sevilin. Ever since that day the image of Sevilin will sometimes popped into Laz's mind. Lazarus doesn't know what this meant, but the thought of Sevilin calmed him down for some unknown reason.
Well at least Kyou will be glad this way since he won't damage the laboratory anymore. Not so much anyway.

Kyou wasn't feeling so well when Julian came to pick up his Raevan.
Many awkward events occurred, Julian managed to pissed Lazarus off as well. But in the end Kyou managed to hand Gage over to Julian's care at least.

With the slowly emergence of the Raevans, and Kyou's ambition to create more, the workload in the laboratory had became a little bit too much to handle alone. In desperation he posted an advertisement in the newspapers, seeking to hire a lab assistant a while ago. To his delight someone responded!
Leaning back into the chair, he read through the letter he just written,Letter Dear Miss Chloe Star,
Again, I want to congratulate you upon being hired to the laboratory. We would like you to start working next month. You can already access most of the doors in the laboratory, so you could go to the cafeteria and into the staff resting rooms as you wish. But please note that some doors like the door that leads to my personal lab is still closed to most staff members.
However, before you start your work, I have a little assignment for you. There will be a case left for you in the reception desk first drawer on the left row. You'll find a vial of fel essence and a soul bottle, along with a manual in it. Please follow what the manual says and collect a soul before you start your work.

XD;; )) Chloe Star Chloe entered the labratory building, a rather large bandage on one of her cheeks and a smaller bandage wrapped about her right hand. She looked rather harassed and urgent, carrying a black suit-case that looked just a bit too heavy for her. She moved towards the back of the area where the sliding doors that would admit entry into the Lab 305, calling out louder than would be usual for her. "D-Dr. Kyou! Are you here?" Dr. Kyou "Yes..?" Kyou opened the cafeteria door right opposite from his lab doors, still chewing on the termometer although his migraine had went away weeks ago. Kyou had been staying in the cafeteria near the door, or in the first 'living room' in his lab during working hours. Because he's going to depend on his hearing to notice people visiting the lab. The lab seriously needs some sort of visitor tracking system that could notify Kyou when people visit. Or people should use the mic on the reception desk more. "Chloe! What's the matter?" Chloe Chloe gave a soft sigh of relief at seeing Dr. Kyou, carefully setting the suitcase down on the ground and flipping open the tabs. "Kyou I... I'm sorry, but I accidently... the bottle cracked while I was getting the soul. I don't know when it happened." She took the soul bottle out carefully, gingerly holding it out for Dr. Kyou to see and take if he so chose. Kyou "What?! The bottle cracked?!" Kyou gasps in shock. He took the bottle carefully from Chloe's hands, running a finger across the small crack near the bottom of the sphere shaped bottle. "You know, the glass for this bottle is almost half an inch thick... what did you do to the bottle to make a crack like that on it?!" Aki Ana Hurrying down the sidewalk, sweater wrapped close around her, Aki smiled in the crisp air. Finally, the heat had given way....her nose and cheeks were pink in the slight breeze. Burrowing her chin down a bit into her scarf, Aki paused outside the lab doors. She hoped she'd come at the right time. Levi had been playing the messages on the answering machine...who knew if it had actually been Dr. Kyou that called! With that boy, anything was possible. Sliding her sling bag around to rest against her hip, she trotted up the few steps and strolled to the door. Aki pulled off her gloves, tucking them into her bag before giving her fingers a quick rub. Pushing the door open and slipping inside quickly, she tried to keep the cold air out and the warm air in. She was so excited, the thought of seeing Aria was enough to keep her spirits up. Pausing for a moment, seeing Kyou had company already, Aki smiled at the pair and wandered towards the sitting area. It looked like something urgent was going on, and she was in no hurry! Chloe "Ahh.. w-well.." She clasped her hands together in front of her, giving a sheepish look. "I let the Roc carry it away in a Mock Roc that Julain made for me and covered in girl Roc pheromones... and... then I carried it down a mountain.. I fell once, but I hadn't thought that it cracked. I didn't notice until I got home that it was like that." She gave another sheepish look up at Kyou before looking anxious again. "Is it going to be alright? The soul won't be damaged will it?" Kyou Kyou ran his finger over the crack for a second time, feeling the cool air slowly seeping out from inside. "This may affect your Raevan a little, but don't worry, the soul is still intact within the bottle... shouldn't be too much of a problem..." I hope... Kyou thought darkly. Raising his sight to the reception area at the sound of main doors sliding open, Kyou noticed Aki coming in. "Come with me." he simply said as he pulled Chloe by the wrist to the reception area, approaching Aki. "I want to introduce you to Miss Aki, she's one of the raevan owners." he whispered to Chloe, "I want you to interact a little with her before you start your job..." Aki Glancing up as the two approached, Aki's smile grew a touch wider...though she felt suddenly uncertain. Kyou was talking, but she hadn't been listening...had she missed the woman's name? Rising briefly, she offered her hand to the girl, noting the distraught lines that tugged at her features. "Hello! Good to meet you!" They'd been examining a bottle, hadn't they? A...soul bottle. Keeping her lips pressed shut in a smile, Aki didn't ask...she didn't want to pry. "If this is a bad time..." Chloe "Ah.." Chloe nodded to Dr. Kyou, still anxious about the state of the soul and the Raevan that would develop from the mix of them. Her stomach felt cramped tight but she turned and gave a small smile to the woman before her, ready to take the task. "Hello, Ms. Aki, I'm Chloe Star." She shook Aki's hand a bit shyly. "Oh.. Oh, don't worry." She gave a small, slightly strained smile at the other woman as she let go of her hand. "No need to leave, you must have come for a reason?" She absently reached into one of her pockets and pulled out a small hand notepad and pencil, flipping it open and making a small note to herself that read 'Ms. Aki -' Kyou "Now that we've known each other's names, maybe we could proceed into the lab for this grave matter..." he stared at the cracked soul bottle as he spoke. He had been putting his hand over the bottle's crack ever since he's holding it, the cold air feels very confortable but yet at the same time, it gives Kyou an eerie shiver as well. The Roc's soul... Kyou thought, the soul seems to emit a malicious aura through the tiny crack. "Oh um, and for Aki's case, it's something positively happier." he smiled apologeticly, afraid that he may had brought the entire atmosphere down. "Now if you please, follow me.." Chloe "Mhhhnnn.." The sound Chloe made was decidedly distressed. She bit her lip and followed Dr. Kyou, taking a moment to glance over her shoulder toward Aki to be sure the other girl was following. She couldn't begrudge the other her good news but she did feel a tiny bit of jelousy mix in with the worry and anxiety. Aki Adjusting her bag, careful not to disturb the contents within, Aki nodded and followed. Her eyes had wandered again to the bottle...this time noting Kyou's hand carefully and protectively over it. Chloe's stress was becoming clearer. The thought of good news warred with her empathy for the other woman. Falling into step beside Chloe for a moment, Aki gave her a small smile of hope. There was little she could say, not knowing the situation. Clutching the strap of her sling bag with both hands, she filed towards the door behind the others. She'd never seen the inside of the lab before! "Happiness can wait, if there is something urgent that needs taken care of." Her stomach was full of butterflies. She didn't particularly want to wait, but that didn't mean she wouldn't do it with a smile on her face if that was what was needed! Kyou With a small beep, the door to the lab opened. The small living room inside smells of lavender, a small burner was placed on a small table on the other end of the room beside the door that leads to the lab. Lately Kyou had taken up aroma therapy to release stress. Kyou walked across the room and unlocked the door to the lab. He hold the door open for Miss Aki to enter, "Go on, she's inside" he smiled. Aki Glancing again to Chloe, mouth half open in protest, Aki sighed and smiled. Simply nodding, she took a slow step forward. "Thank you!" There wasn't much else to say. Walking slowly into the lab, breathing deep at the scent of lavender, she stepped inside. Aki raised her eyes and took a look around, letting out her breath and the butterflies with it. What she saw...was beautiful. Kyou "She may look a little different from Aria, because she's 'reborned'..." Kyou said, concerned knitted on his eyebrow. He's worried and was wondering where is Lazarus as well. It doesn't seem to be natural for Lazzie to not be around to corrupt a newborn Raevan. He eyed every corner of the laboratory before deciding that Lazarus is hiding in his sleeping quarters. "C'mon Chloe, you wanna take a look at Aki's pretty Raevan as well?" Kyou ushered Chloe to enter the labroom too as he stepped inside himself. Chloe "Well.. I..." She bit her lip, torn between doing the polite thing and waiting and looking at Aki's new raevan and the anxiousness that had churned into a raging sick swirl within her stomach. "K-Kyou... you said that it was very dire... about my bottle being cracked. I... do you think.. we could do something about it?" She gave an apologetic look to Aki, her hands extending outward in front of her toward the other woman as if to say 'I'm sorry' Kyou The happiness Aki was feeling shone in her eyes like stars in the night, Kyou was actually feeling very relieved that he had did a good deed for both Aki and Aria. "It's my pleasure.." Kyou smiled sweetly, as he bowed in a gentleman-ly way in front of Aki, "...to serve a beautiful lady such as you." He stood straight back up and noticed that he's still holding onto Chloe's soul bottle. "Oh no!" he exclaimed as he quickly rushed to the nearest Raevan rank. He opened the hatch and immediately plopped in the bottle. "Chloe, could you hand me your fel essence?" he hold out a hand towards Chloe. Chloe Chloe paused, gave a sort of strangled sound of alarm, and shot out from the room toward where she'd left the case that had been holding the bottle, finding the essence still there and grabbing it in her bare hand. She winced slightly at the immediate cold that shot up to her wrist and hurried back, placeing the vial very carefully into Kyou's hand She watched anxiously as Dr. Kyou incerted the fel essence into another slot, closed it, punched in a number code and pressed a red button. It seemed as though all tension and anxiousness escaped with her breath as she exhaled deeply, watching a swirling cloud of gray-blue substance enter into the tank. Her body physically sagged in relief, leaning slightly agianst a nearby wall. "It.. It'll be alright now, won't it?" She was distracted further from her anxiety as her eye caught sight of the lavender beauty that floated, soft curls and ribbons swaying lightly in idle movement from her natural breathing. "Oh...my.." She couldn't say much more. Kyou "Phew.." Kyou wiped the cold sweat on his forehead with his sleeve. "That should do it for now... you just have to wait for a while for it to emerge then." He turned around towards Chloe, giving her a reassuring pat on her shoulder. "Don't worry too much... but next time, please be more careful with soul bottles..." Aki Aki watched silently as the process was started anew before her. Unconsciously leaning to the side, she was surprised to feel Meli press against her as well. Wide eyed, the two watched and waited, looking surprisingly like kin. Sighing as Chloe did, Aki finally smiled as the tension in the room seemed to ease. Melisande's cheeks dusted a bit pinker at Chloe's soft words...the Frei unconsciously drifted a bit closer to Ms. Star as her fingers slid from Aki's. Aki blushed as well, at Kyou's words...remembering her own careless incident with the soul bottle. Blinking as Meli's hand left hers, she watched the girl approach Chloe with a bit of confusion. "Melisande?" The Frei stopped, as though swayed by Aki's words. Raising a hand, she brushed Chloe's temple like she was reaching for flowers in the woman's hair. Ribbons swaying as she pushed back, Melisande left her with a just a reassuring pat and a ghost of a smile. Chloe "I.. I will.. I'm sorry, Dr. Kyou." She felt somewhere between tears and collapse and then... Her eyes widened as she took a soft breath in, the touch so light and faint that it didn't even cause the edgy lab assistant to startle. Her eyes stayed on the delicate Frei, the faint curve of lips and sway of cloth. A small smile of her own wearily appeared and she turned to look toward Aki. Now that she was in less of a state of panic, perhaps they could be a bit more chatty. She ran a hand through her hair. "Sorry.. for all the hurry earlier. M...My bottle got cracked, there was danger to the soul in it.." Aki Taking Melisande's hand gratefully once again, Aki shook her head and smiled in relief. "No, not at all! I'm glad everything is okay. He..." Sparing a fond glance for Kyou, giving him a smile that almost dimpled it was so heartfelt, Aki shrugged. "He is good at what he does." Aria had been given a second chance, and Chloe's hard earned soul was safe. Suddenly, Aki wanted nothing more than to be safe at home...warm tea and soft lights, and the crashing rush of the ocean. "Do you...want to come over for dinner? I understand if you already have plans, but..." Aki glanced to Melisande to see if the girl concurred. Little more than curiosity shone upon the Frei's face...her eyes still bright and settled upon Ms. Star. "We'd love to have you. Both of you, if you have time, Kyou!" She winked at her brother in law and gave Meli's hand a squeeze. The doctor looked a bit busy, but Aki wanted to be sure to extend the invitation. Not that he needed one...he was family! Chloe "Oh." Chloe had felt an instant liking for this women upon meeting her, but... "I.. I couldn't." She bowed her head toward Aki shyly. "I'm sorry.. thank you, though.." She gave a small sigh, letting her hands find their way into her labcoat pockets, finding her notebook and taking it out, jotting down the rest of the note she'd taken earlier. 'Ms. Aki - Song/Melisande' She wearily put the utensiles back. "Thank you, Dr. Kyou... I'm very sorry that this happened, I'll be far more gentle with the equipment from now on. Thank you.. so much." She sighed and turned to Aki and Meli. "Perhaps we'll see each other around again..? I work here, so.. It'd be nice." She nodded shyly - she didn't have many female aquaintences, or friends for that matter. "Goodbye." She waved politely to the other three before turning wearily and heading out of the labratory building, intent only on reaching home. Aki Nodding quietly, Aki handed Chloe one of her 'name' cards...her number, address, and a little portrait all inked in gold. "Goodnight! Another time, definately!" Leaning over to Kyou as Chloe vanished, Aki gave him a squeeze and stepped back. "I'm going to go as well, and make sure she's safe. Let's talk sometime soon, when you're not so busy. I...really appreciate everything you've done." Setting one arm around Melisande's shoulders, Aki smiled in farewell and turned to the door. The Frei drifted alongside her silently...eyes lifted to Aki's face as she wondered where they were going. The rush of cold air as the doors opened snatched the thought from her....ruffling her curls and sending a few petals to dance on the wind. Laughing breathlessly at the chilling gust, Melisande drifted a bit ahead...arms spread as though welcoming the audience of the world. Everything was so open, so clear! Cheeks pink, ribbon coil straining to the east, Melisande folded her arms and tossed a glance back to Aki. Her wings furled, lifting her higher...one hand reaching for Aki's as the elf dashed forward. "Wait! The wind!" Their hands met, and Aki held her easily...the girl's weight was nothing. She felt only the tug of the wind. Drawing her in close with half a hug, Aki hurried down the sidewalk back the way she'd come. Only this time, she wasn't alone.

Both Alexi and Ballentine came to pick up their sets of fel essence vial and soul bottle.Alexi_Jameson In the viscinity of Lab 305, a lone Angel can be seen trekking through the weather towards the Lab. Her form glows brightly, though her clothes look a bit tattered. As she nears the entrance of the dome-shaped building, she pulls down her black visor, which has been protecting her eyes from the stormy weather outside and enters...
As she enters the building, she stops a little bit to get a bearing on her surroundings. She looks curiously at the doors to her sides, at the warning signs proclaiming "Employees Only!" with foreboding symbols on them. Her eyes quickly adjust to the artificial light of the building and she strides confidently, if wearily, to the desk, planting a hand on the countertop and leaning toward the receptionist a little.
"Hello there - my name is Alexi. I've been searching for a building named Lab 305 and have an appointment to see Kyou. Is this the right place?" Chloe Star Chloe had been so immersed in her reading that she hadn't realized someone had entered the lab until she was standing before her. With a little start she looked up, blinking away the blobs of black and white text that lay superimposed before her eyes and gave a small, timid smile. "Ah, I'm sorry... Dr. Kyou has been busy lately, he's not here right now. Could..." She looked a bit closer at the girl now, noticing her clothing. "Could I help you though?" Alexi_Jameson Alexi smiled a winning smile at the receptionist, her blue eyes swimming a deep ocean-blue that denoted her tired state.
"Its quite alright. He told me that he may be busy and I know a great many researchers and scientists. They're always busy."
She chuckled a musical laugh that sounds like low chimes at that, flicking her hair over her shoulder.
"I'd be very happy if you would help me. I was to pick up a bottle and a vial and take a look around. Oh. And don't worry about the clothes."
One of Alexi's gauntleted hands rose up to her armor and brushed it down.
"I tried flying here, you see. But a storm caught me off-guard. In any case, I'm here to pick up an order. Kyou told me he would have it set aside for me. Would you happen to know where it is? It should be under the name Alexi."
"Oh. And by the way...what is your name?" Chloe Star "F-Fly? Oh, Ms. Alexi, yes, we have your bottle and vial." She gave a small bob of her head as she looked down at the papers in front of her, shuffling them a moment to see the small note she'd written herself. 'Alexi - dragon lich breath'"Yes, here we are. Ah..." She looked up over the rim of her glasses as they slipped down her nose. "Oh, I'm Chloe Star." She moved around the side of the reception desk and timidly offered her hand to the other woman. "You're bottle and vial is in the back." She paused, biting her lip and tilting her head to the left in thought. "Mmhh.. I think... I-I think you could come back with me to get it.. if you'd like.." Alexi_Jameson Alexi stretched her double-pair of wings, her lower black wings creaking a little. She winced a little but continued.
"Well, I tried to fly anyway. Need to work out the kinks in my wings now. Nice to meet you Chloe! Kyou must trust you very much to have you working so closely with him."
Slipping her hand out of the Gauntlet encasing it, she took Chloe's hand and shook it with a firm and friendly grip, and bowed her head in respect. Letting go after a few seconds, she gloved her hand back up again and nodded briefly with a smile, peering into Chloe's eyes.
"In any case, I would love it if I could accompany you back to get those items. I'm very excited! Please lead the way if you could Chloe - I'll be right behind you." Chloe Star Chloe really tried not to stare at the wings as Alexi stretched them - she'd been concentraiting so hard on not being rude by staring at the other woman's apperance that she'd not even noticed them. "Ah... yes." She tore her eyes away, letting her hand drop to her side shyly as she turned around, leading them over to the sliding doors that lead into the lab. She stood in front of them, the technology recognizing her and opening the doors. She stood politely to the side, holding the door open to allow Alexi in before continuing on into the lab. Leading them past the cafeteria area and into the actual lab itself. She paused a moment in front of a clear tube where a mass of gray-blue fog-type substance swirled slowly, clouding the entire glass. She gave a small fond smile and rested her hand on the cold surface, turning to continue the gentle smile toward Alexi. "This... this here." Her voice contained a certain note of pride. "This is my Raevan project. The fel essence of Eternal Ice. The Frei is forming in this tube at this very moment.." Alexi_Jameson Noticing how Chloe was glancing at her wings every once in awhile and deliberately trying to avoid looking at her, Alexi smiled a little inside. This was how men usually were with her - glancing once in awhile and trying to avoid her gaze. Either that or they stared at her too openly.
"Thanks!" She arched her attractive form as little more as she walked past Chloe, who was holding the door open for her. Though she was acting casual, her cool eyes flicked quickly over the door.
Past the cafeteria she went, and as Chloe led her into the main lab, she gasped a little at the sight. Her eyes stopped swirling and her lips froze in a slightly parted and astonished position. For awhile, her technology-loving eyes, a trait that was passed down to every transhuman, absorbed the new technology that stood before her in astonishing realness. The swirling mass infatuated her and as she spoke, she couldn't take her eyes off of it.
"Oh...oh wow..." she whispered, her eyes glued to the sight. "How exciting! I'm very impressed ... so -this- is how Raevans are created... Looks wonderful so far Chloe - maybe its just me or is that Raevan almost complete?" Dr. Tsu Emerging from his section of the lab, Dr. Tsu was only barely aware his cigarette was still unlit. I should find my lighter sometime Tsu thought wistfully, but there is so much research to do with all the Raevan's my brother has been popping out lately...Breaking out of his reverie, Tsu noticed that Chloe was once again standing by the tank housing her Frei. From his angle he hadn't quite made out the guest yet, but he'd at least call over to the intern. "Oya, if it isn't Chloe over there!" Tsu's voice rang out, a little louder than he meant to, "Are you just gonna stare at the process all da...uhh... hi" There was another voice in there. A voice he didn't recognize. What's more, there was a person in there he didn't recognize either. Tsu failed miserably at covering his surprise at the guest in the back lab section. Obviously if this new character was back here, she had something to do with the labs. However, Tsu couldn't help but look a little bit at her outfit in mild curiosity. "Erm... Hi, I guess Chloe is giving you a tour of our facilities?" Tsu said warmly, "I'm Tsu, kinda a random moocher/doctor piggy backing off of Kyou's research. Hopefully the place isn't too messy for you. What brings you here anyway?" Turning to Chloe he added politely, "I trust you had her sign a waiver about the information in this lab? You know how Kyou is about his processes being leaked..." Chloe Star Chloe gave a rather large jump of surprise as Dr. Tsu called out to her, turning to him and pushing her glasses back up along the bridge of her nose. "Oh! Ahh.. n-no I was just.." She gave a timid look as he noticed the guest. And then her face crumbled. "W........waiver?" her voice no more than a frail squeak. "I... I.." She looked up hoplessly at Dr. Tsu, her expression of grief and mingled horror speaking volumes for her. She turned to Alexi quickly, hands out in front of her as though she might place them on the other woman's shoulders. "Y-You... will you sign a waver saying thatyouwon'tstealanyofthetechnologyinthelab?! Please..." Alexi_Jameson Still engaged by the visual stimulation that the project before her provided, Alexi suddenly felt a presence...a male presence...Her eyes narrowed ever so slightly and her eyes flickered before she turned her head to greet the newcomer with a warm and alluring smile, a barely perceptible and well-hidden tinge in her eye the only remnant that remained of that flash.
"Why hello there - my name is Alexi, and I'm sorry to have intruded on your lab..." Ungauntleting a hand, she brought it up to her hair where it twirled her silver locks. "Please do forgive my armor and dress - I don't mean to be threatening. Here - I'll sign the waver to prove that I won't take your technology."
She smiled and turned to Chloe, who was stammering her request, and held her hand up to the waiver sheet.. her eyes began to glow a bright blue and a small light formed within her palm. Within a flash, an ornate signature burned itself into the paper, glowing slightly with a bit of inner runic light. The paper fluttered slightly and then came to rest.
"There you go hon." Her eyes flashed and an unsaid but understood thought unfolded in Chloe's mind.
"Don't let that -man- boss you around."
Turning back to the new Doctor, she struck an alluring pose, her voice taking on a sensual chime with a bright smile that didn't quite meet her eyes - though only a trained eye would see that difference.
"Well, now that thats done with, I'm basically here to pick up an order that Kyou and I had agreed to. A bottle and a vial that was set aside for me, the vial containing some Dragon Lich Breath. I take it you do research here as well - wonderful work. I'm sorry, what was your name? " Dr. Tsu Taking very little interest in the fact that she was a woman, and more that she was a specimin he had never studied before, Tsu coolly replied back, "I believe I mentioned my name before, but maybe I didn't enunciate properly. My name is Tsu, I'm the medical doctor for the labs. If you have any questions about the growth of your new Raevan later on, or if there is a problem with their health, please feel free to call on me." Something about this new visitor didn't settle right with Tsu, but he wasn't going to worry about it too much. After all, she was one of the new guardians, which meant he should just do his best not to get on her bad side. Who could say what she would do to a guy that she was pissed off at, Tsu thought grimly, I better take a mental note about that blue fire thing as well..."Anyway... I'm sorry to put you out with the waiver, Alexi, but it's just a mere formality here. More for the safety of the community than anything else. Some of Kyou's experiments... are... well..." Tsu trailed off repressing a shudder from memories of earlier experiments he was roped into with his brother. "In any case, I look forward to seeing more of you around in the lab." Turning once back to Chloe, who looked completely crushed that she forgot the waiver earlier, "Don't worry yourself so much about these things. You're still getting used to the ropes, but you're working really hard. I'm sorry we forgot to mention that earlier to you. In any case, keep up the good work around here." Tsu tried weakly to cheer her up... Reading all those shoujo manga... and still I can't think up any good words of encouragement. I need more research on these things...Chloe Star Chloe gave a sharp intake of breathe at the disturbing, foreign words that coalesced in her mind, like dew on a leaf, the hair at the back of her neck prickling. Her eyes re-focused as Alexi cast some sort of magic on the paper, her name appearing in blue. "Oh.." she gave a great sigh of relief. "Th-Thank you. I.. we appreciate it." She stood listening to the talk between Dr. Tsu and Alexi, a smile growing slowly. It was so nice when people became friends so quickly! A small flush as Tsu spoke kindly, feeling more relaxed again. "Alright, thank you. I'll remember next time. Now... if you'll excuse us.." With a small turn and a 'this way' wave of her hand she motioned Alexi to follow her futher back into the lab where a metal box container stood. She opened the top and reached in, curling her hand around a handel and pulling upward. An impressive collumn made of metal and sturdy plastic rose majestically upward. Row upon curved row were small padded holders, vials nestled safely between their foam covered prongs, each vial was carefully labeled in a slightly sloppy print. Chloe carefully turned the collumn as though she were browsing for a pair of sunglasses before giving a small 'ah' and gently tugging a vial containing a purple gasious material. "Dragon lich breath." She safely lowered the collumn back into the metal box and closed the lid, turning to Alexi and holding it out to the other woman. "Here you are, Ms. Alexi... your fel essence. Your bottle is over here." She moved over to the side slightly, to a wooden structure that commically resembled a wine rack, pulling out a bottle labled 'Alexi' that had a soft gray cloth attatched to it, holding this, also, out to the angelic woman. Alexi_Jameson Cooly looking Dr. Tsu over with her icy eyes, she noticed that she discovered, with pleasure, that his cool gaze carried little lust for her. Too many men looked at her for only her body, losing their minds to lust. Why should she trust them when her fiance, an Angel Prince no less, betrayed her, killed her entire house, and left her to die simply because he suddenly lusted after someone else? It was only because of the female demons she was rescued by that she was living today.
It was very nice to see an exception once in awhile. Which is why she had wanted to talk with Kyou in the first place. To see if she could bring one of these exceptions among men back to life. Perhaps this was a man worth being friendly with.
With that note, her eyes started to cool down a bit, shifting to a darker color, and she shifted into a more relaxed pose, placing the gauntlet on her hand again. She smiled a genuine smile at Dr. Tsu.
"Ah - thank you. I know you did say so, but my mind didn't register it. Its my pleasure to meet you Dr. Tsu." She bows her head in respect, her voice resonating with a cool semi-friendliness instead of an alluring siren's call. Her other hand relaxed, and dropped from the hilt of her blade behind her and she brought it to rest against one of the tables nearby.
"I can definitely understand the waiver. I too have experiments I myself conduct, and so do the rest of my brethren, and none of us would like it if someone stole our secrets. Rest assured that none of my race would stoop to stealing technology. We'd rather create it ourselves. I do hope to see you more often too - you seem like a nice person and a brilliant scientist." Unlike most men, she thought icily.
She turned her head slowly to Chloe, who seemed oblivious to the tension between her and Dr. Tsu. "After you Doctor." Smiling, she followed her into the back of the lab and patiently waited as the column rose. She seemed a little less excited about the large storage of vials of rare essences and such, but showed polite amazement.
"I wonder what they would think of a Transhuman lab's resources..." she thought. "And...I wonder what they could do with those resources."
Snapping out of her thoughts, she watched Chloe look for the vial. Stowing away her gauntlets for the time being, she gently accepted the vial full of purple material. She gazed at it for some time, a smile spreading over her face as she thought of the man she is now going to attempt resurrecting and how well this essence would suit him. Funny, how she was going to be re-creating her creator.
"Thank you, Dr. Chloe." She smiled warmly and bowed in respect, then accepted the bottle. "I really do appreciate you filling in for Dr. Kyou and for giving me a tour of the place."
"Do you have any instructions as to what I should do with these now? Kyou gave me an idea as to what I should do with them, but since experiments are delicate things, I want to make sure everything is done just right." Dr. Tsu Feeling the tension lift a little from the air, Tsu was finally able to relax a little. First impressions were usually never his forte, even less so when the person seems to hold a grudge against him or men in general. Maybe she's someone not interested in our type, Tsu thought casually, but let the idea pass before opening his mouth. He may be a pervert, but he also valued his own life. "Well, I'll let you take care of things here Chloe, but I'll be around if you need anything from me. I think Kyou might be around somewhere too..." Smiling a genuine smile to Alexi, "It was nice meeting you Alexi, I'm sure Kyou and I would like to hear about your experiments sometime too." Kyoupiruchi With a small click barely audible to the ears, the door to Kyou's sleeping quarter slid open. "I heard noises..." he mumbled, eyes half opened, long black hair tangled up in a mess. "...Chloe..?" his new lab assistant was the first person that came into sight, he trailed his eyes behind her and saw 2 more people standing behind her. "Tsu!!" Kyou gasps, "..and who's that..?" Hastily, he closeed the door momentarily, one hand trying to comb his hair while the other trying to straighten his wrinkled T-shirt as he hid behind the door. The door creaked open again, with Kyou looking more refreshed. "Oh, pardon me... just woke up..." He looked at Chloe again and realised what she's doing. "Chloe, how come my metal case of fel essence is in the lab?!" he asked sternly. "It was originally placed in my room!" Chloe Star Chloe gave a small start as Kyou came back, his voice stern. "Oh... I.." She looked down at her feet - she'd really messed up this time. "I thought..." She didn't know what she'd been thinking, it'd be easier to get to? But certainly less safe. She began to tremble slightly in the face of the man who'd trusted her enough to hire her on the spot. "I-I'm sorry Dr. Kyou... I thought it'd be..easier to reach...from here." She swallowed hard and looked up into Kyou's face, anxiety written all over her own. "I can move it back right away! I'm so sorry! I.. I won't ever touch anything without your permission first.." Near the end her voice sounded a bit as though she might break into tears. Alexi_Jameson "It was indeed a pleasure and I'd definitely love talking about my own experiments. Though, once this Raevan I have in mind is created, I think that he perhaps can spout a little more about experiments that he himself has done. After all, once of those experiments resulted in me." She smiles in reminiscence and nods at Doctor Tsu.
Suddenly, hearing a slight click and some mumbling, she turns her head towards the direction of Kyou's sleeping quarters. Watching him blink sleepily, she doesn't really recognize him either, until she hears his voice more clearly. She grins warmly and strides up to him, bagging the items she was given by Chloe in a soft purse and offering him a hand.
"Hello there Dr. Kyou - sorry to catch you at a bad time. My name is Alexi. We spoke, not in person of course, and I agreed to pay the amount you wanted for this special experiment?" She smiles and bows in respect. "I've already pre-paid the amount I owed, and I was just over to pick up the materials I'd need for the experiment."
Looking over at Chloe, Alexi spoke softly in a gentle and soothing tone.
"Not having a good day now, are you? It'll be alright" She smiles confortingly at the nervous wreck named Chloe. Dr. Tsu "Hey bro, long time no see," Tsu greeted the groggy Kyou, "well, not so much a long time, as I was around towards the end of last month." Tsu was rambling. Another habit of his from time to time. "Anyway, I saw you were working yourself sick and wouldn't stand for it. How rude of Kyou to make such a cute girl cry. Unforgivable! Tsu thought vehemently, more shoujo manga scenes playing in the back of his perverted mind. "It won't do to cry at this point, Chloe," Tsu smiled at her, handing her a clean handkerchief, "I'm sure you were thinking of making sure not to disturb Kyou." What a rough day for the new intern, she was really hanging in there.Kyoupiruchi A pam of guilt hit him as Chloe was almost in tears. Maybe I shouldn't be so stern to her, after all she is a very good helper... Kyou was always very nervous and weak-willed around young girls, especially young girls that're almost in tears! On the other hand, Kyou likes matured women. The other person in the room, a lady with an attractive body and 2 pairs of wings on her back, suits Kyou's taste for women. Forgetting all about Tsu momentarily, he walked a few steps towards her. "Hello Alexi," taking her hand in his, "Yes I've received your payment, the mini devil wings are something rare and valuable, and might prove useful in some of my... darker experiments..." He gave Tsu a sneaky peek for a split second before putting his attention back to Alexi. Her grip was firm and strong, Kyou's instinct tells him that he should not act too harshly around her. "Anyway..." turning back to Chloe, "I'll forgive you this time for your mistake..." he bent down towards the huge case and rummage in it, picking out 3 more vials. One seemed to be filled with a black flowy substance, the second one glowing brightly, and the third one seemed to have a minuscule image of a universe in it. "I left you a note on who to give these to on the reception desk, I hope you got them... now if you'll excuse me.." he closed the lid and locked it with a padlock. He tried to heave the heavy metal case off the floor back into his room, but realised he couldn't summon much strength. Maybe it's because Kyou's body just recovered not long ago. Chloe Star Chloe's face remained pinched with anxiety even as Kyou let her off the hook - this time. In the end she'd still made two rather large mistakes all in one day, and they were lessons well learnt. "Thank you... It won't happen again, I promise." She took the vials carefully and nodded to Kyou. "Y-Yes. I have the note, it'...ahh...it's.." she paused a moment to remember where she'd placed it, one hand, the one holding the shadowy vial, felt along her front chest pockets down to her side ones, eyes lighting as she heard a crinkle. "I have it right here." Delicatly she put one vial in each pocket, stepping back from where Kyou heaved at the rather large, heavy looking metal case. "Do you need help, Dr. Kyou...?" Alexi_Jameson Noticing Kyou's eyes roving for a split second, Alexi's eyes shimmer a bit, but they cool down immediately. She knows him a little more after all, if only by voice, and he seemed like a good man then. No sense starting out on a bad foot here, especially when he was in charge of her precious experiment. Dropping Kyou's hand after their handshake, she absentmindedly slides a hand down into her front pocket, where a warm coin-shaped of metal meets her fingers. The metal memory chip calls her name and she thinks towards it. "Soon...my liege...soon..."
"Very nice to meet you in person Kyou. And I'm glad that the devil's wings I gave you will be put to good use. I look forward to seeing what you can do with them." She grins toothily, a little spark of demonic glee shimmering forth at the thought of dark arts, but her grin becomes normal again within moments as she represses it.
"Oh no you don't... go back where you belong." she thinks at her alter-ego, which hisses at her and then disappears back into the depths of her mind.
"Kyou - is there anything special I should do with these items in order to insure that the experiment runs smoothly?" Dr. Tsu If only briefly... Tsu felt the air around Alexi change back and forth a bit. This is something worth noting, I'd like to hear more about her experiments, Tsu thought, So far Kyou hadn't mentioned anything about the Raevans and their memories after all. Besides... Lazarus, or whatever Kyou's Raevan was called wasn't very helpful.Clearing his throat, Tsu decided to speak up again. "Well... it seems like you have everything taken care of here...? Do you think I'm free to go for a bit?" Tsu wanted to stay longer, but he couldn't read Kyou's shifty glance very well... the brotherly connection was weak again. "Granted, I have little plans if you want me to stay..." Kyoupiruchi The heavy case only moved a few inches after a minute. He stood up and wiped some sweat off his face. "Well, you just need to place the soul bottle near the item you wish to get the soul from..." he paused for a moment. "Ah yes the soul bottle! They're labeled and can be found in that cabinet over there." He spoke as he pointed towards a cabinet in the far corner. "Chloe will assist you to it..." He stiffen a yawn before bending down to pull the metal case again. This time, by pulling on a corner's handle, he pulled the case into his room. "Now I'll be going back to sleep... good day, Ms Alexi!" he smiled brightly before saying goodbye to Chloe and Tsu as well. With a soft thump, Kyou closed the door and locked it from the inside. Chloe Star Chloe held up a hand to Dr. Kyou, trying to show that she'd already gotten Alexi's bottle for her before he bid them farewell, changing her words instead to, "Goodnight, Dr. Kyou... I'm sorry, again." He still seemed tired, he must not have seen, she decided. She gave a small sigh as the door shut, shoulders slumping slightly as she turned to Alexi, head bowed. "I'm so sorry, Ms. Alexi... I.. wish you wouldn't have seen all the mistakes today.. I hope you don't think less of Lab 305 because of them.." She gently held one hand near Alexi's back without making physical contact, the other hand extending outward toward the door in a polite effort to usher the woman out of the lab. As they walked back out into the main reception area she gave a small side-long glance at the soul bottle that Alexi held. "Ah... a-also... you should be very careful with that. It looks extremly sturdy but....it... it can crack or break. So be gentle." She gave a sheepish expression that told she was speaking from experience. Alexi_Jameson "Ah - thank you Kyou. I thought there was something more to it, but I guess it was simpler than I expected." She pauses for a moment to think, fiddling with the coin-like wafer of metal as she does. "I've already got the soul bottle though thanks to Chloe. She did pretty well taking care of my needs. "
Looking bemused, Alexi simply smiles as the embarassed Chloe tries to apologize.
"Oh I don't mind at all, Chloe." Catching the gesture, she politely starts to stride towards the exit of the lab, gloving her hands again as she walks. Her hair flows back a bit, and a few strands of her hair falls out as she passes Tsu, landing on his shirt.
She acts as if she didn't notice, but she smiles a little as she glances sideways at him. Her eyes flash and a chiming voice can be heard in Dr. Tsu's mind. "For your experiments, Doctor. You might find something interesting." And then the voice was gone.
As she heads out back into the reception area, she smiles back at Chloe and bows her head. "Thank you for taking care of me for Kyou today, and for the advice about the bottle. I'll be sure to remember that and keep it safe." She smiles knowingly as she sees Chloe's expression. "Sometimes, mistakes are made. But perhaps the most brilliant of inventions came purely from mistakes. Keep it up. I know you'll do well. Very nice to meet you. I hope to see you again sometime. Call me any time. Kyou knows how to reach me."
She smiles and bows her head one last time before heading out the door with her newly begotten items. The skies seem a bit cleared and, stretching her wings to test the air, Alexi launches herself up into the sky with inhuman speed into the night, a glowing beacon in the darkness that has overtaken the world. She stops and waves once, and then her flashing angel-light is gone. Chloe Star Chloe watched the angelic woman leave in quiet awe before turning back and heading into the lab, giving Dr. Tsu a brief wave before heading over to the cabinet that held the soul bottles. She pulled out the peice of paper and looked it over, pulling out each bottle that belong to it's respective owner, carefully writing down the colour of the fabric beside the names as well so she couldn't accidently scramble them. She paused a moment in front of the rack, bottles craddled gently and delicatly in her arms, and chewed her lip. ....Would she get in trouble for bringing the bottles out to the front? Well.. Dr. Kyou had given her the fel essence vials to bring out, the soul bottles were essential... and if the people didn't arrive to pick them up before she left she could always return them to their spots. She spent a few more anxious minutes considering any ways she might get in trouble for doing this and found none. As long as she was extremly careful she was sure that it wouldn't be frowned upon... Dr. Tsu Tsu couldn't help but just sit there. "For your experiments, Doctor. You might find something interesting." Alexi certainly was a mysterious beauty and Tsu was mildly interested... After all... BOOBS... no...focus. It was like the electrical charge after an initial shock running through his brain only. The first important step was to keep these strands of hair isolated, and use them carefully. Sure hair was just dead cells normally... but this might be a little different. Tsu carefully enclosed the strands into a few separate vials and took his new prize back to his section for later study. Kyou should know about this at some point... but not now... his brother was probably tired and needed his rest. Where is that Lazzie anyway?!? Tsu inwardly grumbled, if I can't find my lighter... I at least want a fire raevan to light my cig for me. He's the most useful yet...Before making his way back to the labs Tsu remembered that Chloe was still there. She looked a little troubled. "Just take them up one at a time... I'm not entirely sure if the other guardians are quite aware that they need to pick up their essence and vials yet. Give them a contact though that they should get in touch with you as soon as possible. If anyone gives you a hard time, send them to Kyou or myself." With a quick smile to reinforce he wasn't mad or anything... Tsu ran off to his own research office. Alexi_Jameson The hairs that Alexi left the good Doctor Tsu would prove to be quite an interesting analysis. Perhaps once he analyzed them, he would for instance discover that the strands of hair were still living, and that the cells themselves were partly metal. And if he looked at the magical properties of the hair, he would notice a certain dark quality to them, as if they had been infused with demonic energies. Scientist that he was, it would come to him that Alexi had mentioned something about resurrecting her creator through this Raevan. And perhaps, with that information, he would put two and two together and see a precursor to the nature of this new experiment.
Of course, perhaps he wouldn't find all this out before the experiment was conducted. What he would do with any of this knowledge is completely up to him as well. Time would tell.
In the meantime, the hairs within the vials begin to grow little by little, and whispers and bells of darkness mixed with songs and chimes of light can be heard if you hold a vial up to your ear.. Ballentine The rain had yet to let up, and I had a poor defense against the cold droplets. My umbrella had been the victim of a mischievous act back at home and now... I sighed while shaking my head. No thanks to the umbrella I now had damp spots scattered around my shirt. "Great..." I muttered while shaking the umbrella out, snapping it shut once most of the water was off. At least there's no spots against my chest to make it look like I'm lactating again. God that day was embarrassing. I thought back while leaning the umbrella against the wall. It would be safe there, and if anyone stole it they'd be in for a surprise.
Stepping onto the welcome mat I made sure to wipe off the bottom of my shoes. Last thing I had to do was walk across the floor, slip, and give some random scientist a clear shot up my skirt. Being accident prone I wouldn't be surprised if it did in fact happen. What on earth made me wear a skirt today?! I asked myself while walking towards the reception desk , though as I grew closer I noticed no one was there.
"Excuse me." I called politely as I reached the desk, giving a small glance around. Ooook. Now what? No one was at the front desk... Lifting my hand I began to chew on my nail wondering if the place was closed. But if it was closed then wouldn't the front door have been locked?
I leaned against the desk and placed my other hand upon it. Not a moment later I began to drum my finger nervously. Perhaps I came at the wrong time? That had to be it! I was too early! To confirm my assumption I reached down for the pocket watch I always carried and checked the time. Nope. I was actually late!
Frowning, I replaced the watch the pocket of my skirt and felt my forehead scrunch in thought. Should I leave and come back another day? This was the only time I was available to do this... "I'll wait five minutes.." I told myself, beginning the count down in my head. Chloe Star Chloe nodded at Dr. Tsu's advice, remembering that a Ms. Ballentine still had an appointment for the day, taking down her soul bottle carefully and heading back to the front reception. She was looking down at the small list that Dr. Kyou had written out for her on who go what essence, when the sliding door opened and she stepped out, looking up and giving a small start. "Oh! Hello! I'm sorry I wasn't here." She hurried over behind the desk and set the bottle down carefully, making sure it couldn't roll. "May I help you? Did you have... an appointment?" She looked down at the list - the only person was Ms. Ballentine so could this be her...? She looked back up with a polite, shy smile that made it seem as though she had all the patience in the world, and she very well did. Ballentine I gave a start as a woman spoke, my attention having been on a spot on the wall. Very bad idea to space out like that! Smiling softly at the woman I gave a nod to answer her question. "Why yes, I do have an appointment today." Taking a step to the side to stand in front of her, I placed my hands behind my back and spoke. "I'm Ballentine. I have an appointment with.. Uh..." s**t! How can you forget the name?! I scolded myself as I began to fidget. s**t, s**t, s**t, this was embarrassing! Chewing my bottom lip in thought I started to run through names in my head. Something would have to sound familiar and click, if not I could always hope this woman would know the answer.
By now I had that distant look, one I had quite often when that train of thought derailed with the loss of all passengers aboard. "Um..." I lifted my hand began to do the turning motion, as if wafting the air around would bring me the answer. "Name is there... On the tip of my tongue." Chloe Star Chloe gave just the smallest of polite laughs, head tilting forward as she recognized the traight of forgetfulness in this other woman. "Dr. Kyou?" She offered helpfully. "He's asleep right now, he's been a bit busy lately and still recovering a little from a recent illness." She bit her lip in momentary memory of the worry for the head of the lab when he'd gotten sick. "Ah... but... I do think I have what you came for, Ms. Ballentine." She pulled out the (by now throughly crumpled) bit of paper and read the information. 'Ms. Ballentine - Supernova Remnant (dark blue)'She carefully picked the vial of Supernova Remnant from her front pocket, holding it up slightly and looking over the rim of her glasses into the vial in awe for just a moment before holding it out to Ballentine as well as the soul bottle. "Be careful with the bottle... they.. they can break, even though it looks like they can't..." Ballentine "Yes!" I exclaimed when the other woman said the name. "Dr. Kyou." I repeated, the happy smile on my face fading to find out about the recent illness. "Well I hope it was nothing serious. It is almost cold and flu season though..."
I reached out when the woman offered the vial to me. It can break... I echoed in my mind. Just great... With all those little fingers in my home I had about a 50-50 chance of not breaking it! Bricriu and Sayid the two I'd have to watch out for the most. "I'll keep that in mind." I told the woman with a reassuring voice.
I took a moment to glance down into the vial, giving a small whistle. "Wow.. Beautiful isn't it?" I asked with a glance up at the other. By the way, what is your name? This way if Dr. Kyou asks who I got my items from I can tell him." Chloe Star "Oh!" She smiled and extended her hand. "I'm sorry, I'm Chloe Star. It's nice to meet you." She gave a small nod toward the vial. "Yes, it is very beautiful..." Her eyes were drawn to the tiny universe within. Ballentine "It's a pleasure to meet to." I said as reached out with my cold clamy hand from the weather to shake Chloe's. "And I must say I'm sorry I have to cut this short and run, but I have children at home that can be a handful at times. I don't like leaving Jay, one of my sons, alone for too long." I laughed lightly, thinking back to the time poor Jason had been roped to a chair.
Releasing the other's hand, I flashed another smile before making sure I had a good hold on my vial and bottle. "I'm sure I'll see you around again sometime, have a great day... Even if the weather is horrible."
With a nod of my head, I turned and started back for the door. I slightly wondered if I should even bother grabbing that crappy umbrella of mine. Better not leave trash behind! Nabbing it on my way, I clicked the button and would once more truck out into the rain!

Roux's arrival! And guess what was the first thing he did? Freezing the lab over! Lazarus fled the scene because he had low tolerance with low temperature, but Kyou stayed to watch over the newborn Raevan as he waited for Chloe to arrive. Even his hair frosted in the cold!

Finally, after bumming around the laboratory for so long, Tsu decided to join the staff ranks of the lab officially as a medical support doctor. Though they may not be blood related, but they shared a bond so close that Kyou thinks Tsu as his younger brother. At least that was what he thought it was...
