Reason why people hate sasuhina so much is because they think sasusaku is a better pairing since sakura pays ALOT of attention to sasuke. i hate sasusaku i still say sasuhina is a great pairing

mizz_ninja M-maiden I'm sure some of you have heard this reason: Omg people just made SasuHina up so that it wont interfere with NaruSaku !111!!!11 I know! that is soooo annoying! Some of the naruhina and sasusaku fans think that there IS no other pairing than naruhina and sasusaku! disgusting. nah, we're just more creative

For some SasuSaku or NaruHina fans, the only pairing they see is NaruHina/SasuSaku and ONLY SasuSaku/NaruHina. (Of course, it's only some of them.) They refuse to see any other pairings and they will bite and b***h if they see some pairing that interferes with they're favorite couple. It's quite ridiculous actually. -_-'
I've seen this many times and I don't really understand why they won't shut up and listen to what we have to say! xD
Another problem I've faced is that obviously Sasuke and Hinata have had absolutely NO interaction during the whole series and it'll probably remain that way. I think I speak for most SasuHina fans when I say, LYKE DUH WE KNOW THAT! D:

Dang. I haven't been in the club (been a fan of SasuHina, I mean) for very long, so I didn't know that this was such a hated pairing. And I say "hated" very liberally. Personally, I think that there are a lot more pairings out there that get more hate than SasuHina (pairings like YonKyuu or ItaKyuu, for example [because "Kyuubi is a giant fox and there is no possibility that he could be like the traditional kitsune and shapeshift. You should die for even thinking of this pairing!!!!1111ONE1" xp ]), and I know pairings that take a heck of a lot more imagination than SasuHina (NejiGaa, for example--talk about zero interaction; I don't think that the two have ever even met. Or ItaShisui, which people have zero knowledge of because they forget that Itachi had to kill his best friend to get Mangekyou and Shisui has never been introduced in the series).
Personally, I think that there would be more to this debate than SasuSaku or NaruHina. I think that it's just a matter of a lot of fans (of any pairing) either being too stubborn to stop hating on a couple (goodness knows that that happens everywhere, and I mean everywhere) and open their eyes, or fans being too stuck on canon (which annoys me to death! Crack is so freaking fun!).
But anyway, I haven't been around the SasuHina-block as much as a lot of you guys, but if you ask me about hate, I doubt that this pairing takes the cake. Besides, even the more canon pairings fall under a lot of hate as well (just listen to what you guys are saying (and I've heard a lot anti-SasuSaku/NaruHina arguements in other places as well)), so I wouldn't say that SasuHina gets even a huge chunck of it. *sighs*
EDIT: Okay, here's the reason why I disliked SasuHina until recently: Sasuke was painfully OOC. Painfully, painfully, painfully OOC. *cringes to think about it* Hinata, not so much so. She seems pretty easy to keep in character for a lot of people, but Sasuke's butchered like nothing else. He's tragic for a reason (and that's one of the reasons why I love SasuNaru--because the pairing is kind of tragic as well, so there's a little bit less of a butchering to his character). A lot of the work that I've read had him being... *twitches* fluffy... and utterly, soppingly romantic... or just plain stupid. *sighs and hangs head* I'm pretty sure that SasuSaku would do that to him, too, though. Creativity isn't a bad thing at all--but when you can't keep a character close to their personality, the more analytical fans tend to get riled up. And for me, being the huge Sasuke fan that I am, I couldn't stand it. If people are going to do something with Sasuke, realize that he's angsty and sarcastic and downright mean for a reason. If SasuHina eliminates that part of him, then... I can understand some of the more riled up protest.

Bah, it annoys me that people hate SasuHina 'cause they say it's 'not canon'. WTF!! That's what makes it fun! Canon is boring, stereotypical and predictable. >.< Classic L o l i t a 3. I hate Hinata! or... I hate Sasuke! -Rarely you will see a pairing in where the girl likes the guy so they pair him up with any girl even if they don't like her. Some girls who don't like Hinata refuse to accept her with ANY guy. Same with Sasuke. They usually like one and hate the other. That made me laugh so much!! XD If people are driven by that then they suck... a lot. You know what? Sasuke is my most HATED character! And I still love to read fan fiction about him with Hinata. And she's my favorite from the girls. It sucks that some people let themselves get controlled by their hate or love for a character...

Recently, I've seen a lot of threads popping up saying how they don't understand this pairing. However, when anyone tries to explain, they don't listen. It is rather annoying, not to mention insecure. The rabids ones are the worst.

It really is quite frustrating.

in my opinion, people dont have any originality, cause the usually love ya know. SasuSaku, NaruHina, the most COMMON pairings in Naruto.

I'm afraid to post a thread for my Guild because of this--I'll get posts about such and such pairing, and how it's better than all others...and probably that I need to go grab the book, or something. .__.

If SasuHina eliminates that part of him, then... I can understand some of the more riled up protest. Yes, crack is fun. As long as it makes proper sense for the person supporting it, of course. Canon can be interesting, too, but for the most part, it's been "explained" already, and you can't do too much with it anymore.
I try to be as open-minded as possible, but then there are some that...well, some that make absolutely no sense. (Of which I cannot think of any at the moment) But I'll simply state that I don't like it, and move on. If they want a debate, they'll get one. I can see the sense in NaruHina and SasuSaku, I mean, why they like it if they want to explain as much. Unfortunately, their sense makes none to me.
Since SasuHina has become fairly popular recently, I've seen more OOC fanfiction. It does make me cringe--I'll try to drop a review to help them sometimes, but I usually get no replies. It hasn't dropped my love for the pairing, but it has made me stay away from that section on FF.net more. If you can't see their character for what it is, then I'll most likely quit reading it.
I think SasuHina, or any pairing with Sasuke that is to have some benefit, would most certainly help Sasuke in areas. Socializing, and friendship, and love, such things as that. So, maybe part of his misgivings would be gone, but not enough to really make him "OOC."

MissLayla_444 I agree with most everyone else here. Many people say that they have nothing in common and stuff but really, they're both quiet people and honestly Sasuke can't stand Sakura. Besides, Ino and Sakura both move on later in the series and don't crush on Sasuke. Hinata admires Naruto but I believe she'll move on from him. She'll always love his fighting spirit and look up to him but she only has a crush on him.
Sasuke is the last remaining Uchiha and Hinata is from the Hyuuga clan. Her father wants to get her out of the way for Hinabi to take over so why wouldn't he want her to marry a guy like Sasuke? Gets rid of her without disgracing the family.
If you can't tell, I DO NOT LIKE Hinata's dad. He's a jerk, and he's cruel to her! Hmm, well, I agree with you on the NaruHina part.
However. Sasuke can stand Sakura quite well, I think. He's learned to appreciate her for who she is. =3 But um, no SasuSaku romance for me. Eva.

Like Classis L o l i t a said, people just don't have any imagination, and already have a couple in mind for those two, and they refuse to see it any other way.
