[OOC: Same here, I am going to play some Oblivion.]

((Lightweights. I'm taking one of your shields, because it'll be nice to have.))

Gamma walked back through the mystery passage, assuming it was the right one. They'd all head towards the Tercel again. Unlocking the doors, he'd leave the keys in the thing.

Gamma would snatch Miles' shield away, and go for a walk. Telling his team "I'll be back soon."

Eustathios felt the change, and got quite weak. Before it could effect him entirely, he reached back into his mouth, the flaring from before alerted him that something was wrong. Perhaps he had swallowed the thing, he didn't know, but he did know that he needed to put a new one in. Quick. Just as things got too bad, the newly received marble was placed into it's rightful spot, and almost instantly the weariness ebbed away. He sighed, that was close, and began to walk once more, at a slower pace.

After wandering about the shadows for a while, he stumbled upon an exit, hopefully Miles was following.

Well this was s**t, Miles was feeling like s**t.

What else could feelings of peace feel like to a sociopath?

Digging into his left hand he pulled out the marble and felt slightly better; but like a druggie needing a hit he felt as though his strength was sapped and he had to put something in the hole.

Into the hole went a Recharge, the one he had gotten earlier.

Miles would watch after the Spartan leaving.

His team was here, which is good. Gamma was less than he was before, and he didn't like it.

"This isn't good." The mask was sad, and Gamma's voice was angry. It didn't need to match; it just was.

Tossing the shield back to Miles, the chainsaw remained in it's ready position. Gamma's strength was still tip-top thanks to the replacement.

And they all vacated, the bastards.

Ugh. Vampire bar. Too many shadows and rafters.

Huh? Miles was still milling around when Gamma had gone running by in the direction the Spartan had gone.

Shrugging his shoulders he chased after him.

Back to this hole. Oh, how just being around it made Gamma feel weird.

Tempted to go in for another round of "Guess the Race" Gamma strolled by the tavern.

In a pretty unmagical way, the three made their way to the abyss-plane, thing, emo-land. Searching for the other exit which would lead them to their most fearsome Tercel.

Can't say leaving this place is all that difficult. Too bad it involves shadowporting.

He moved through the portal, Miles following after closely, and the two left, behind Gamma.

And it was here that a man would fall onto his knees.

Nothing but moonlight showing the way, even as a sense of nostalgia and disgust all rolled into one overcame him.

Along with a fierce sense of deja vu.

The birdhouse was still clutched onto, even as he stared up ahead at the only building visible in the moonlight.

"I don't think we're in Kansas anymore, Tinkerbell."

Vahn was a pain in the a** to track down. That was something Rage had always figured. Those few blows from the last fight had seemed to sober him a little - you could say his marble got rocked.

Even so, he had been following Vahn's energy signal... at least until it just up and disappeared. Which was odd, since of the two things that usually did that (masking and dying), Vahn didn't do either one to his knowledge. Fortunately, he was tipped off to a trail of blood outside in the Durem back streets....

An overwhelming sense of dejavu hit him the second he stepped in. Most of the patrons were in the rafters. Blood was served more often than water. Everyone was carrying a dagger for some reason, even the bartender, and the mascot was a flaming bat that could shoot meteors from it's wings.

"... s**t."

He looked at Vahn, who was too passed out / fever-sick / badass to talk at the moment. Well, at least he and Owle were safe.

Owle, despite herself, had fallen asleep inside the birdhouse. Being left alone to fight cowboys and rolling blobs of flesh tended to do that to you.

Now, though, the slight jarring that rocked the birdhouse as Vahn fell to his knees would wake the slumbering sparrow. And it would give a little birdie yawn.

Hopping out of the birdhouse, Owle took one look at the ground below. She jumped it, turning into a cat on the way down.

With another colossal lawn she stretched out, front and back, then moved far enough away from Vahn that she could safely turn back into her human(ish) form without bumping into him.

"Vahn...did you just call me Tinkerbell?"

She was smiling, though...he didn't look too good, and could probably use a smile right now. "So, how'd it go? Didn't give you too much trou..."

Her voice trailed off, as she noticed the bloody gauze in his stomach.

"You're hurt..."

She offered a hand down to help him up to his feet, her eyes trailing from his down to his wound. "I can rebandage that...if you like...those look soaked through."
