I've seen him around a lot in movies, a few years back, and then me and my sister finally watched a couple one day, and i noticed after Edward Scissorhands that it was the same guy, so i searched him up, and kept on watching his movies. So yea, Edward Scissorhands..

Nightmare on Elm Street obviously. <3 But I also had NO idea he was Edward Scissorhands until last year...That was just weird. xD But the first full length Johnny films I saw were Sleepy Hollow and From Hell.

Sleepy Hollow. It was also the first R Rated movie I ever saw in a theater.

lol! sweeney todd was the first R movie i saw in the theater. took me forever to convince me mum, though. Pirates of the caribbean was the movie that actually got me to notice Johnny Depp. i was impressed so i watched all of his other movies (all of them...) wierd for a 10 year old to take a liking to that sort of thing. maybe i was wierd. i'm 15 now though... still think he is the awesomest

Edward Scissorhands. I'm actually amazed I was allowed to watch that movie, my mother has like a Tim Burton hatred.

For me it was definitely the Ninth Gate. A movie of supreme awesome, with compelling story and a prodigal son role for Depp.

Sweeney Todd. I'd never been a big movie person, but I always liked Tim Burton's movies. I didn;t know it was Johnny in Edward Scissorhands [Oh Em Gee], I'd never seen Ed Wood or Sleepy Hollow, and I didn't know it was him in Corpse Bride. I just liked Tim's movies. But when I saw the advertisement for Sweeney, I was like, OMFG, I saw the movie, and since then, I've seen the majority of his films, read a number of biographies on him, and because a huge fan.

Well, I don't really know what movies he would be absolutely great with, seeing as I don't watch to much T.V. Maybe, in the series True Blood, cause it has a sort of dark theme. He would make a great vampire, without him falling into a vampire stereotypes and non.
The one I don't really like him in was Once Upon a Time in Mexico. I love that movie, but I don't really like how he played the character. It just didn't seem like him.
