I couldn't tell you what one it was. but i do know my first favorite movie had him in it. even thought i didn't know it was him. Good old Freddy kuger.

i think it was a combination of movies. i didn't like Johnny at first. Edward had always been a favorite movie, i watched pirates of the pirates then, then all of a sudden i realised that it was Johnny that were in all these great movies and i started picking up more of them and got hooked on his acting style and junk like that.

I think I'll have to say Benny & Joon. I had seen and liked the movie Whats Eating Gilbert Grape - but I hadn't really noticed him as an actor.

I had watched a lot of his movies as well, but like DemonLady I had no idea that all these awsome charectors I liked were the same person. Benny & Joon was what made me a real fan though.

I absolutely fell in love with Depp when I watched Edward Scissorhands for the first time. And from then on, I would try to find anything and everything with him in it to watch. And mind you, I was 5 when that movie came out, and I'm 21 now. So, yeah, loooong love of the great and wonderful Depp.
