Let's go out of hiding now. 3nodding
It will make things more united and will balance out any negative feelings left over from the anti-GIB days.

Alright, unless I get some serious arguments against opening back up soon, that's the route we'll go.

We can only open up to a certain extent. If we publically show what our suspicions [sp???!] are then we just lower ourselves to Cindy's level.

@Mokoni: No, we won't. Saying what we suspect as just that, a suspicion, is not that same as Cindy going on and stated what she thought as fact.
@Zi: I really would like to see the ZH open up. I've seen too many screenies of threads that didn't have the best messages... xP

Personally I don't care if we are hidden or not, as long as it doesn't interfer with my surrvallence of Gambino.

Nite Lewis I think I said somewhere that I liked the mistery aura of being a hidden guild, but that's the only thing. I was in favor of this guild being open to the public before I became an agent, and I'm still in favor of it now that I am one heart Let's do it :3 Hear hear.

Well I do like it hidden. I know there are people out there that still hate us for not letting them join. If we become open and the people will be like, "We know what you know. Even though I am not part of the GIB, I can see your activity."

Mokoni We can only open up to a certain extent. If we publically show what our suspicions [sp???!] are then we just lower ourselves to Cindy's level. Well, no, we wouldn't. For two reasons: 1. The message: If we have "suspicions," then they will be kept out of our official files until we have proof-- that is why I set up such strict rules in the information database. 2. The means of conveyance: Cindy broadcasted her story as absolute truth, without checking into the facts. Not only do we check into our facts, we don't broadcast. All speculation will be kept to the main forum of the guild, which we will never ask anyone to look at. If we do broadcast any messages, it will be from our database, which is a place for fact, not speculation. Therefore, anyone that gets offended by what they read in the main forum have only themselves to blame, for poking into other people's business.

Sakura_Madison Well I do like it hidden. I know there are people out there that still hate us for not letting them join. If we become open and the people will be like, "We know what you know. Even though I am not part of the GIB, I can see your activity." But shouldn't they know what we know, regardless of their alignment? Everyone has the right to know what is going on around them. And if we educate the public, it will lift the veil of ignorance, and they may come around.

*straightens tie* Nah, I'll sit this one out.
But if ya'll think this'll restore the GIB to the way it was before, go ahead. I just hope we're going to be satisfied with the decision.

But if ya'll think this'll restore the GIB to the way it was before, go ahead. I just hope we're going to be satisfied with the decision. The sad fact of the matter is that nothing will ever be perfect. Things can never go back to being the way they were--and why should they? Things were not perfect then, either. The best we can do is take action that has been thoughtfully considered and judged to have a chance of making a positive impact. The impact I hope to make is twofold: 1. I want to make our knowledge of the event available to the public. 2. I want to encourage openness among the various groups on Gaia, and one cannot do that without leading by example.

I for one think that the idea of opening up a little is a good one. there are on fact some people who still dont know about the GiB. maybe we can show ourselves to theese people and pick up a few supporters. either way, i vote for un-hidden.
