Tobe nipped her ear playfully in response.
"First one there gets a gooee-gomper!" he called after her as he swam upstream.
The memory of the light and trees were still far off, but details of it's whereabouts were starting to return to him.
"I had been challenging the current that day," he said, smiling over at Nev. "I think anyways, and it threw me near the shore. But I'm not sure how far we have to go to reach it."

Nev squeaked in surprise when she was nipped, before laughing delightedly and hurrying to keep up with her dear friend.
"Challenging the current..." murmured the female, looking thoughtful as they swam. "We're going the right way... Maybe..." She paused, flicking her ears a bit and humming as her mind skimmed through memories of the various areas of the river. "How about near the waterfall? There's a strong current there, and the light is bright because there's all open space near it. Lots of fish are at the bottom!"
