I think it's a good idea. ^_^ A believable character, and a good choice of animals. It's also good to have backup animals, just in case, y'know?

Hey Deo, thanks for the comment.
I really like your character. In general, he's seems like an all around good guy, but there is one thing that really bothered me--how would his wife know about Feral Labs? From what I've read, it seems like any activity on the island is completely hidden from the public eye.
Although I do kinda like the wife being a b***h and giving him up...

Ahhh I shoulkd throw something in about that...perhaps during her work she got a report about a scintest smuggeling out a few vials, and cracked a deal...no talky on the vials for revenge on her X...
