His eyes started glowing again and he looked for a bench and sat down, "Go home...take your gift...I'll be right there..." he closed his eyes, feeling the urge to cry again.

*Jad had just landed his severely damaged fighter at the service base, and now slowly walked through town. though things were not as they once were... since he wore his old flightsuit, though torn and ripped, those who passed him gave him odd hard looks, as if he was an unwanted nuisance. he stopped by the few stores in which he had friends, and greeted them warmly, though, one or two shied him away after a short while. he was passing a small clothing vendor when the trouble began.*
"hey you... yes you... stop where you are!"
*jad turned to see three men standing there, all holding a heavy stick of somekind jad didn't recognize.* ey? how may i'd be of assistance?
"assistance? you can leave this world and not come back, that's how you can assist us..." *the lead man took a threatening step forward, weilding his weapon, and giving jad a hard look.*

*jad ducked a blow as it crashed into a pillar of an outdoor vender* ey, now... we'll've none of this...
"shut your trap, offworlder!" *the other two men swung at jad*
*jad easily evaded and circled round* ey, now... you'll not be wanting to do that...

ey, tomo... *jad avoided another blow, tail swishing this way and that...* how's everything?
"come back here! we'll get you!" *people struggled away from the fighting, and by now, two more had joined in the against odds group attacking jad.*
ey, last chance, fellows... *as a result of the accident that gave jad his tail, he also had eyes that slitted when he was stressed*

aye, good to be home, ey? *jad shook his head, and then caught an incoming blow, yanked the man foward so that jad's fist went straight into the man's stomach, who jad hefted to the ground quickly and gently* ey, what's wrong between ellie and bai? and has my wonderful wife shown up yet?

Tomo shook his head, "Nope, no sign of Rin." He said, pulling the grip someone had on his collar and using his weight against him to throw him to the ground. "But Bai and Ellie weren't in the best of moods. One said the wrong thing the wrong way and it exploded from there." He explained, connecting his knuckles with another man's chin.

Tomo arched his back and cracked his knuckles. With a relaxed sigh, he nodded, "Yeah. They don't seem like the type to let a silly little tiff get them down." He said as he began to gather his things.
