If someone said, 'Three years
from now, you'd be long gone..."
Aw. Levaros I can relate.
I had a cat from the time I was about six or seven, until August 1st, 2006.
She was kind of old, I suppose, and, she just.. let go.
But I ALWAYS had a connection with her.
She was so friendly to me, I mean, in my younger years I was HORRIBLE to the poor thing. [As in swinging her around in circles in a pillowcase... Sorry Wishie babe.....]
Anyway, she stuck by me and loved me no matter what I did to her.. and I grew very attatched.. I guess you could call her my.. unknown familiar.
She was my best friend, when my other so called 'friends' hurt me badly.
She always knew when I was crying, and she came and rubbed up against me.
She never once scratched me in those seven years I knew her.
[Aw. I'm getting all teary-eyed now]
ANYWAY, I believe I had a real connection to her because..
The very day she died, (the poor thing couldnt get up to move, so I was laying with her on the kitchen floor.) my sister came in to ask how she was doing. I told her how I knew she was going to die that day.
And my sister said mom would take her to the vet when she got home from work.
And I said , and I quote "She wont make it past five."
Wish died that day at 4:40pm.
I have a cat now, but I have no real connection with him.. He doesnt really like anyone. All he loves me for is when I play with him.
*smiles* He always tells me when he wants to play. Its cute.
...I'd stand up and punch them out,
cause they're all wrong.
