My cat was a stray that came to me around Halloween last year. He's all black save for white patches on his chest and belly. His name is Onyx (stone, not pokémon). Oddly, before he came around, I had wished for a cat like him. I was happy when my parnets said we could keep him 3nodding

if memory serves there was someone over in germany who tested a polygraph(lie detector) on plants and it worked.

I think cats are magickal. I have a black cat with these huge paws whee and almost everytime I go up to my real mom's house (I don't go there to often for reasons which will not be discussed) she is sitting by the door wiating for me. It first happaned about a year or two ago... I didn't call my mom to let her know I was coming, and when I got to her house, after the hellos and stuff, she said "You know, your cat has been acting weird since... she's been sitting right there *points* since about 2."
"Weird!"
"I know."
"Not that, I left dad's at around 1:58."

and Bageria (my cat's name.... yes after the cat in jungle book xd ) has been doing it ever since.

Now, again, I'm not sure what Wicca states about this, but, logically, all living things should be able to "see" the second plane. Even a bat is not completely blind. Some animals, of course, see energy more clearly than others, just as humans do. And just like us, this varies from animal to animal and, therefore, cat to cat.

My cat just died in March. She was hit by a car, which I thought was strange because she was such a nimble thing.... She was a feisty little spitfire, and the blackest furball I ever did see.

When Mama died, she cried every day. Until around August, when I had the dream. She also became much friendlier towards me, as if she saw something different in me. I guess I just never put two and two together.

Gods, but that cat was trouble, but I loved her fiercely. That "teeth and claws love of a feline" as Hobb describes it. She was my little huntress, and she had a fierce pride to her, that cat pride that only cats have, and I remember that I was pleased by her grisly trophies, because in her strange way, I knew that she was trying to convey to me: "You deserve to live".

That look she gave me, every now and then, when I would pet her and she would lick me and mark me as her own, like she would lick her cub...Gods! If that wasn't magic, of the oldest and truest kind, than I've never known it.

If someone said, 'Three years
from now, you'd be long gone..."

Aw. Levaros I can relate.
I had a cat from the time I was about six or seven, until August 1st, 2006.
She was kind of old, I suppose, and, she just.. let go.
But I ALWAYS had a connection with her.
She was so friendly to me, I mean, in my younger years I was HORRIBLE to the poor thing. [As in swinging her around in circles in a pillowcase... Sorry Wishie babe.....]
Anyway, she stuck by me and loved me no matter what I did to her.. and I grew very attatched.. I guess you could call her my.. unknown familiar.
She was my best friend, when my other so called 'friends' hurt me badly.
She always knew when I was crying, and she came and rubbed up against me.
She never once scratched me in those seven years I knew her.
[Aw. I'm getting all teary-eyed now]

ANYWAY, I believe I had a real connection to her because..
The very day she died, (the poor thing couldnt get up to move, so I was laying with her on the kitchen floor.) my sister came in to ask how she was doing. I told her how I knew she was going to die that day.
And my sister said mom would take her to the vet when she got home from work.
And I said , and I quote "She wont make it past five."
Wish died that day at 4:40pm.

I have a cat now, but I have no real connection with him.. He doesnt really like anyone. All he loves me for is when I play with him.
*smiles* He always tells me when he wants to play. Its cute.

...I'd stand up and punch them out,
cause they're all wrong.
