On a similar note, is it possible that some of the yet-to-be-introduced UFOs are female? Hmm? Just a thought.

I'd imagine. You'd think they'd need females in their species.
Although Mother has mentioned them as her sons, though; I haven't heard anything about daughters.

I believe this Comic just leads to the introduction of the Mini UFO collectible item.

I believe that it may be 06, after reading the following:

[NPC] alien_ufo_06
Esteemed Mother,

It has come to our attention that those greasy Gaian mammals have broken into one of our secure bunkers and stolen a vital piece of Zurg technology.

So far, attempts to track down the culprits have been fruitless. I fear that our most prized technology may be reverse-engineered and sold on the Gaian market within days.

I humble myself in apology.

Makes sense. I wouldn't be surprised if the children lied to Mother about something like that.

*nods* They'd probably get in a shipload of trouble for losing a UFO.

On the other hand, it's possible that "Mother" is like a "queen bee." That all offspring would be hers and thus females would be mostly unimportant, thus why she didn't bring them on her "visit" to Gaia.

I just noticed something a bit odd while re-reading the manga from when this all started:
http://graphics.gaiaonline.com/images/event/manga/38388e06fae800397c6ecee5f0ba8c58.jpg
The head Zurg, as it appears to be, is reffered to as 'sir'. Interesting, considering the leader of the Zurg appears to be Mother. Could there be someone else behind the scenes?
Also, the dialogue suggests that the Zurg are looking for something, which they believe is connected to the energy surge from the explosion on April Fool's 2k6. Could this be somehow connected to the 'tales' reffered to by 09?

Well, that is within only one of the UFOs. So likely it only the head of that particular UFO... maybe Mother was doing her makeup...

Though, if you look at the aliens out of their ships (you know, like Flarn and Glarg, etc.), some of them are female neutral

There are two more elements to look at, as I just realized.

1. Why is this Zurg not prepared to fix his own ship? You'd think instellar travel would call for a self-repair kit. Perhaps Zurgs are not capable of repairing their ships? With that in mind, is it safe to assume that if we were to take out the mothership, there would be no threat of a returning attack?

2. Why does this Zurg bring his UFO to an Auto Repair worker. Perhaps the basic anatomy of a UFO is similar to that of an Automobile?

Both points merit examination.

It is possible that these Zurg are like some of the frogs and fish found on my neighboring planet, Earth.
Perhaps they are sexless at birth but choose thier own sex as they grow older?
Or perhaps in the attempt at this language and translation, "sir" and "sons" might be a general word to them and not a word aimed at a particular sex?

HMMMMMMM....??
