Thought it wasn't the best episode actually. I was left kind of thinking "O....K... That was weird!" The best bit in my opinion was seeing Jack vulnerable cos he's usually the tough guy.
I mentioned in another thread about the fairies looking like Krillitanes! Stop copying my ideas! I think it was in the thread for Cyberwoman...

I think best episode so far, and they didn't really look like krillys, IMHO.
Mebbe after they solved the skasis paradigm xd

The weirdest thing ever happened to me while I was watching that episode. One minute we were sitting there, watching Jack's train story, when suddenly we hear "Exterminate". Now, I know we had a Dalek voice button in the house, but I thought it was my brother leaning on it. Nope - it was on the other side of the room to anyone. Weird...
A good episode, creepy enough but also funny.

The fairies and the story seems like it was based on the lives of Angelica and Euphemia Cottington.

Get Fear Her and School Reunion, take out all the bollocks of the former episode, the Doctor and Rose; add some adult themes, evil faries and the Torchwood team, and this is more or less what you are left with. It's actually closer in style to Doctor Who than some of the other episodes, but explores themes that are too dark for said show, and with some conviction. Sort of what I hoped Torchwood would be like, actually. I loved it.

I loved this episode as it really didn't have anything gratuitous in it at all. Definitely closer to what I had hoped Torchwood would have been.

Well, yes, it was toned down somewhat (for a Torchwood episode) but it still had ****** and Jack's former girlfriend dying. Basically, not something you'd see in Doctor Who.
