"Log...

This is Jem, duh, and since I talk to you about all my work and stuff, I figure I might as well talk about other things. This is the first time I've gone off since we got Tyven, and now that I'm heading back, I figure I should mention her like I did for Cleo, in case I like, die or something.

Which, by they, just like Rapier and Cleo, if I DO die, all my s**t goes to them, a'ight, Tammuz?

Anywho, Rapier wasn't too happy when I came home with Tyvvie, but she seems to sort of accept her now. I knew she would. 'Pier's a damn good woman, and I love her... Oh, crud, I have to pick up those flowers on the way home... I saw this kid's training gym the other day, and I think I'll enroll Tyv. She's pretty spunky, and sometimes gets a big riled up, so it'll be fun for her I think. Maybe kickboxing? I've always enjoyed that.

She gets along with Cleo like woah! Us, she hisses at, but Cleo? She'll put up with anything from her sissy. Tyvvie's a sweetie like that.

She also lovesloves shinies. I mean, seriously. Tyven likes things of value, and money. Me too. She reminds me of my 'Pier sometimes though. She gets this blank expression, like Rapier does in scaryscary mode.

Ohhhpe.

I've got th' flowers, and I'm almost home, so I gotta go, so I can sneak in and surprise them... END LOG!"

A child is expected to know certain things at certain ages.
In order to obtain rights to their Dragon(egg), they must prove they can meet these requirements.

The following sheet is for your child to fill out, with mild help from their guardian, then sent back to D-corp. (PM ot the mule)

Also any changes, even minor such as haircuts, should be reported to the D-corp to be logged and filed.

Thankyou,

Re: D-corp Letter
User Image

So, 'Pier says I have to write this stupid letter, which isn't fair, because I could be jammin' to my ipod, or playin' with the kids. But whatever.

Tyvvie, besides being the bestest, sweetest girlie ever, hasn't changed too much. Except for when she shed her skin! That was SO cool! Then she was BIGGER! She plays real nice with her sister. And she works really hard. She's my special purple sparkle! Her hair's grown out a bit, and we tie it back loosely, it comes about to the bottom of her neck... It's cute, falls onto her face. It's longer on the side with scales, like she's hiding it, kinda like I do with my blind eye. Haha, weird. Uhm... Let's see... What else...? She's waaaaay tall. I mean, I read up indigo snakes, and it makes sense, since they grow fast, and grow real long. She's shootin' up. Taller than her big sissy now, lean too... Pretty muscled for a kid! Hee... Oh... Rapier wants to write now...

Alright, look you psychos. You've stuck me with this crazy person-chomping little snake and you're trusting JEM to write this out? Ugh. Tyven has recently discovered a love of kickboxing and wrestling (which she hasn't tried on Cleo yet, thank the goddess) and thus walks around in the 'gear', if she wears anything at all.

Most of it consists of little black shorts(That read 'CLUB DOOM' - They're her favorite, I guess.) and white hand and foot wraps, along with a creepy stare. She's only -really- nice to Cleo and strangely enough, Altessa, who seems to be her best "friend". She's cordial to me only because I can squish her and....well, I think she has a soft spot for Jem. So there you have it. Happy now, you sick, peeping freaks?

-JEM and Rapier.

[Shorts. Wraps. Tyven usually looks apathetic with a eyebrow, or flashing her fangs in an evil, mean grin. Your choice on either version. She also chooses to go without shirts as much as possible since clothing bothers her scales, which are itching lately.]

"Log! So much has happened. Turner came back, and stayed with us for awhile! They blew up her condo, and she says I'm in trouble, but I'm not particularly worried. Ash and Rapier seem to be upset though. Anywaaaay. Tyven's been real grumpy and quiet lately. She's always off trainin', and I'm not sure if she's seen any friends recently. Tyvvie used to always be out playin', but ever since she snapped on that one swan girl, she'd been all focused an' s**t.

Still, I don' mind that much. She an' her sissie are gettin' so big! I know that as soon as I'm able, we'll get her some more formal trainin' at that one place she came from.

Speakin' of that, Turner got one o' those weird kids too! Some relation to that Alt thing Tyvvie likes so much. And Dagger! I love Dagger, she's so pretty, she got a kiddo. He's a big boy, very sweet.

Ya, so. I'm off to paint the walls."

Tyven's hair is a lot longer now, and she wears it down mostly, it's about to her midback, and so pretty! That white bit has become streaks in her longish bangs, though, and looks nice. She's just as muscled and lean as before, but somehow a lot less boyish. Probably because poor Tyvvie's already started "developin" a wee bit. Hahaha. She HATES it, and usually wears a light bandage wrapping around her chest, no shirt though, she's still on strike, and just wears those hand wrappings for practice. Rapier's been makin' her at least wear pants, and she seems okay with that as long as she keeps them rolled up. She says her scales are real sensitive after sheddin'. She's got some piercings now, but nothing extreme at all, and she only wears studs. Says that they don't get in the way when fightin'. She's got about four in each ear, in black and purple, of course.

Some real changes though are that since Tyvvie last shed, her scales seem a bit lighter. Not near the shade of her hair, but definately more purple than black. Her eyes also seem a little darker purple, not SO pale, and it's a lot more obvious that she has slit pupils. That, and... Well, Tyven's legs are a mile long! She's the tallest preadolescent I've ever seen! I think it might be cause she don't got no long tail like other snakees, so it's become ultra-long limbs instead. Course, her nails and teeth are just as sharp as ever.

Anywho, attitude-wise, Tyven's back to being all stoic and unimpressed by people. She usually just raises an eyebrow, but that's about as much expression as we see, unless she's with her sister. She spends a lot of time either training, or reading books about battle tactics. Yeah... Tyvvie's weird.

Snow and Tears

It had taken Altessa some time to drift away from home, and as she wandered, she glanced around at the people. For the first time, she didn't wish any ill deed upon anyone else... it was strange, the feeling she held now. Her feet led her towards the gym, where she stared through the window through half-lidded eyes.

One would think Tyven was Altessa's opposite, in emotions, or rather, ill wishes. The extremely tall preteen had been punching and kicking the large bag in front of her relentlessly, attacks forceful. And now, as Altessa proceeded to stare through the window, the girl pushed off of the ground with a strong foot, swinging her leg and giving the bag a final roundhouse kick so hard that the chain anchoring it to the ceiling snapped, sending the bag flying into a nearby wall.

Face blank, Tyven pushed her white-streaked bangs from her face as she strode over to the bag, grabbing the sand-filled exercise equipment with one graceful hand, absent-mindedly demonstrating her inhuman strength by lifting it and moving it to the back room of the gym, to be fixed. Cold, the snake walked back to her duffel bag, kneeling to remove a water bottle and take a long, smooth swallow. She wasn't even sweating.

Altessa continued to stare, her hands raising to press against the window as her eyes focused on the snake-girl in front of her.

Tyven. It had been so long. Almost too long...

It was odd, how one could sense when they were being watched. Most would become uncomfortable, and try to sneakily find their observer, however, Tyven simply looked up, slitted-pupil, lavender eyes meeting Altessa's through the glass. The snake calmly took another swallow from her water bottle, throat working, before closing the lid and set it down without breaking eye contact. They were odd girls. However, Tyven began to wonder. Why had they run into each other after so long? Tyven had practically still been a toddler.

Altessa stared for a long moment, her fingers curling on the glass as she let out a hot breath, fogging up the spot in front of her for a brief moment. Her tail curled before she moved to leave, her teeth gritting as she huffed. Things had changed... almost too much.

Altessa hadn't gotten more than a few steps before Tyven joined her on her walk. The tall girl now had on the black slacks she'd been wearing in the gym, with a black, knee-length military coat on top. Definitely stylish. The two strode in silence for a few moments, before Tyven stopped, eyeing the other girl. Another pause, then a small smile touched the corner of her mouth. "You are different."

Glancing over, Altessa stopped as well, frowning. "... so have you." Her shoulders slumped as she looked to the side, reaching up to entwine fingers through her hair... where her barette used to be, once. "I... don't feel the same as I did before."

"There is nothing wrong with that." Tyven stepped close, her own slim, long fingers moving to pull Altessa's away from her hair. Fiddling with oneself was a sign of nervousness. Altessa HAD changed. "Do you miss me?"

"Yes. Very much." Altessa's eyes were sad. "I don't know what to do anymore." Her own fingers curled into Tyven's, her look lost. She was still such a child...

"Life is strange that way." Tyven's smile was strange, and she let their hands fall to their sides, still attached, as she resumed the walk. "Even when you lose a purpose, you continue to live." An eyebrow lifted. "A stubborn paradox." She was quiet, and they turned onto a path through a small park. "Why do you feel as if you must do something?"

"It's my nature." Altessa murmured, fingers tightening gently against Tyven's. "I was born to create fear. I do not feel the need to do that... It angers me, yet..."

"I think," Tyven was in a similar situation and was learning to handle it. "That you do not need to deny your nature. Just redirect your actions." What she meant was; to find someone who deserved to feel fear. That way, she could validate her nature, rather than prey upon others and begin to self-loathe.

Altessa didn't understand; she merely gave Tyven a quizzical look, her head lowering as she attempted to figure out what the other was talking about. "Redirect?"

"I feel a rage within me." Tyven smiled a little more. "And I have tried to fight it in the past. It is a losing battle. Instead, I suggest that, like me, you find someone who deserves to feel your rage. To feel fear." Tyven found opponents to hurt that needed to be taught a lesson, and Altessa could begin to do likewise.

"Ahh..." Altessa froze, her eyes going towards the floor. "... I'm getting a black dragon. I don't know... if that would suit well with me..."

That made Tyven stop as well. She had almost forgotten. "You have not yet met Azucar." Her dragon. An obsidian black lindworm. He seemed to get along well with blacks. "It should not make a difference. As long as you are making others fear, I doubt your dragon shall concern themselves with who it is."

"But..." Altessa crossed her arms, looking quite lost again. "Blacks... only care for themselves. I.. do not feel the same way. Not anymore..."

"What do you feel now, then?" Tyven's arched brows were almost amused. "Who else do you care for?"

"I..." Altessa lowered her head, looking ashamed. "... no one." She didn't want to say who she started to care for.

Tyven's face instantly went blank, and she pulled her hand away silently, almost coldly. Resuming the walk, she was silent for several minutes before speaking, tone distant. "You lie to me."

"You can tell?" Her own tone was bitter, her eyes narrowing. "It doesn't matter. All I can ever do is hate, it seems." And Altessa hated herself the most of all.

It wasn't even a second after the words left Altessa's mouth that the snake had whipped around, striking her face with an open palm. It might sting, but it was not intended to do physical harm. Tyven never hit open handed when she was going to hurt another. Her solemn face was an interesting opposite to her blazing purple eyes, and she leaned in close. "You lie to yourself, as well." Now the preteen turned her face away from Altessa's. "Yes, I can tell."

Barely feeling it, Altessa snapped, jerking to attack the other out of mere instinct, but forced herself to stop with a small snarl. Her eyes were narrowed dangerously, and she trembled with dislike as she stared.

It was the sound more than anything that really startled the Bandersnatch girl.

Tyven didn't respond, instead standing stock-still, muscles tense as she subconciously studied Altessa. "Do not anger me, please." Her lavender eyes shifted back onto the girl. "Where has your confidence gone?"

"Don't hit me." Altessa snarled, unable to keep the anger from her voice as she spoke. "Away. Far away." Turning, the Bandersnatch took a few running strides before she began to walk again, hands shoved in her pockets. Tyven had only left her feeling even more confused, and nothing was solved.

Tyven's long strides caught her up in only seconds, and she silently let a gloved hand grip Altessa's shoulder. Spinning the other girl around, Tyv yanked her shoulder hard, sending the bandersnatch toward her own body, and pulling her into a firm, wordless hug. In the middle of the wet, snowy park, Tyven stood motionless, arms clamped around an angry, confused girl.

Too shocked to react, Altessa bit her lower lip and trembled, her arms rising after a moment to return the other's gesture. It was the first time that she had cried; and the first time that she had openly showed affection for the other... such a strange thing, for Altessa.

And for Tyven, as well, unless it was to Cleo. The indigo snake simply held Altessa, saying nothing about the other girl's trembles, calmly stroking her back with one hand. Had no one ever hugged her before? Tyven was forced to accept Cleo and Jem's affection, which was probably good for the girl. But who did Altessa have? No one, really, except for... Tyven? Maybe?

It was rare for the other to trust. Even rarer that she let herself go... usually feelings were bottled inside until she unleashed it on some poor unsuspecting fool, but as she was so confused... she didn't know what to do with herself. It had done nothing but sit there, rotting away at her very core until she had exploded.

Tears were not her first choice of letting out feelings, they were Altessa's last. But she still clung to Tyven, burying her face in the other's neck and just... standing there. She didn't mind the cold so much.

Finally, as Altessa's sobs stopped and they were simply pressed together in the cold, Tyven spoke. Her voice was softer than usual, although just as low. "Come to my home with me." It was not really a request. For some reason, the tall girl could be extremely comforting at times. Probably because she was quiet, and looked as if she could be trusted to take care of things.

"... do you have tea?" Kanth often made tea, and Altessa found small comforts such as that to help her on her 'off' days. It was strange how Altessa then realized just how well she had it... and the person she thought she was, wasn't who she was at all.

"Yes." Tyven's smile was brief, but real. Jem, her "mother" was big on tea. Slowly letting Altessa go, Tyven paused for a moment before stepping back, putting distance between them. Leading the way through the park, they'd be out of the cold in no time.

Altessa followed with ease, her arms locking behind her as she let her tears dry naturally. She gritted her teeth and let out a sigh, her body shivering as a cold chill ran up her spine. It felt good... to catch up on old times.
