Yes, that IS why it's celebrated. That's the only reason why people give a s**t about it. Else, it would be like Easter! Christians just like to push their s**t on everybody else.

Since my new semester started I haven't once thought about Lindsay. It's sad that someone like this is prancing about Nashville right now. Sorry Nashville, it's wasn't my idea.

The whole thing was bogus--how did she even get a column in the paper in the first place?

I only wish I could find her "I love Cheetos" column at the end of last year, the one comparing her love of Cheetos against her love of God. It was so wrong my eyes burned. Just for that, I ate Cheetos everytime I had class with her and proclaimed my love for them.

Scrap the whole. Her entire column is about Jesus idea. How did she get a column at all? She can't be passing English. She can't even write!

Back to her entire column is about Christianity..
What a load of garbage. She gave no evidence of anything, she is just spouting off what some pastor told her. IF her pastor told her that. Most churches I know of celebrate Halloween.

Yeah, All Hallows Eve, it's the Holy Evening before All Saints day and All Souls day, meaning it's the evening the precedes some very holy days.

Kinda. It was originally a pagan holiday, so the catholic church made their own day at the same time to make it easier for people to not have to change their habits, but still keep them Christian.
I don't think the protestant churches make anything major of that day as a religious thing, though.
