Most people don't even know I'm Christian, and it usually
comes as a big shock to them when they ask me.
I avoid talking about my religion to anyone but other Christians.
Because so much of America is so touchy about that subject.
And you never know who is what religion. You can't even make a comment
without someone getting offended, even when you weren't talking to them.

Dead Ed Okay, it's true that Christians have tried to convert non-believers, but honestly does everyone else have to lable us as a brainwashing, hypocritical cult? It seems just about everywhere I go (except here) I see the same damn thing. Feel free to discuss. I don't believe it's right to force one's opinion, or in this case religion, on anyone else. The label, as I look around lately, is beginning to grow more and more true. The hypocrosy, and "once a week" Christians need to act in life ALWAYS, not just one day out of the week or year or whatever. Hell, for all I know, I could be a hypocrite............................................. I have some reflecting to do. See all y'all later. Alezander_the_Great

i've been with god now for over 11 years now and i have to say that iv'e become rather embittered towards religion in general.the amount of crap you have to put up with is staggering when it comes to church in southern Mo. .i was brought up im a close minded babtist church that cared more about the collection plate then they did about people.and yes there are good christians out there but the far,far more people who clam to be christians and completly ruin god to other people all together.

I have been a christian, meaning a fallower of Christ, for about 12 years now, and I agree most people that say they are christians are just making it harder for real christians to bring people to christ, but we are not to judge people that is GOD's job not ours.

Realy any church that dosen't care about their parrisioners is doing the world a great dissservice. the primary goal of any church should not be money but the salvation of it's people.

Recently I saw a documentary called "Friends of God." It basically labeled all Christians as freaks. I hate stereotyping like that. Anybody else see it? It was on HBO. What did you think of it?

Victum Soul You know? I try to keep my faith as a secret. And don't take me wrong. I don't go around saying "hey guys!! I'm a christian!! Glory Glory hallelluja!!! Praise the Lord!!!!!" . I just wait until they see something different in me. they ask me then, and I take that chance to spread the word. It has been working 3nodding exclaim Guerrila warfare for christ. i love using this technique.

If you notice, all of the miricals Jesus preformed was because someone came to him. He didn't go over to some blind guy and say: BE HEALED SINNAH!!!

We as christians shouldn't TRY to convert anyone. Don't push. Just show every one the love of God and eventually they'll begin to wonder, "Just what is up with this person? Why are they so... accepting?" In their own curiosity they will learn about God, and if they choose to give their lives to Christ, so be it. But remember: IT'S THEIR CHOICE. Such is the beauty of free will.

I dont really care because people who just didnt want to believe what we (christians) believe, they are the ones who started bringing up 30 thousand + religions which all are in their own way responsible for this bullcrap.
I mean come on I live in the United States Of America, this country was built on the moral foundation of the christianity and the bible, if nobody believes in what christianity says then what is the freakin point of even having this county?
its so stupid at this point i dont even care if they question the existence of God, the thing i think about 24/7 is the non believers trying to make us believe what they want.
Technically they are all brainwashing cults through television commercials ...... im not gonna get into that lol it would take me hours of typing to get all of that down.
Anyways now you know how i feel about it.

Christianity itself IS screwed up... no one can agree on anything! people look at the church, which is very much a bussiness as a community, and they see thousands of different "types" of churches who argue amnongst themselves about who is right and wrong even though we are all followers of Christ.
Ok, now that thats down, on to my next point:
Whenever people start talking about converting others to Christians I think back to what it would be like if I, a devout Christian, was being told by a Muslam that my religion was wrong and I was fake.... I would probobly be VERY pissed off... so thats why I try to live a Christian like and not shove it down the throughts of non-believers... however much I want to.
Another point I want to make is what do you do when you are told by OTHER CHIRSTIANS that you are a fake and a hypocrit? I have resently been told by both my best friend and her sister that I am a hypoctitical fake who tells people to do one thing and then does the oposit. I am really upset because they are people I love and respect who said that, but the same day my BF tells me that he likes me so much because I am such a good Christian and everything... so yeah. I think Im a good christian, but who knows but God? I could easily be wrong.
More to say later... I have class right now ^_^
