You have nothing better to do with you time but drag up the past?
Ok yeah, I agree a lot of s**t has gone wrong, and a lot of people have said or done things they wished they hadn't, but why bring it up again? Do you love drama and chaos that much? Have you nothing better to do with you time?
blends invited me to this guild, and I stay and visit it because I know some of you, but if this is what it's going to turn into I don't want to be a part of it. I am sorry blends...but this is just wrong

Unless all parties involved agree to drop the issue(s), I don't see what's wrong with recording what's happened to the guild.
The only problem I see with this project is that it brings attention to a few hiccups in the guild's history, when from my experience this is one of the most easy going, friendly, and helpful places on gaia and the internet. That's why I stay. Concentrating on the less than great moment of the guild does seem to undermine the fact that this place isn't for the most part and angst palace.

I don't think bringing up old topics will cause any drama or chaos... That is not my intended purpose, anyway. I want it there so people can see it, and so we can avoid repeating what happened in the past. 'Tis the same reason people study history.
I'm glad you commented, though... I was getting worried that everyone liked my idea, which would've meant something was wrong...

I plan to say what we've done to improve after each incident and give dates to show how far apart the messes were. It won't be all bad. 3nodding

The only other things I may decide to look up are the threads in PC from when this guild broke off. I'm in no mood to enter that place now, though, so it may just end up being an addendum later. 3nodding

Tell me what info I'm missing, and I'll add it.
My reason why: I don't want this place to break up, and I'll do whatever I can to prevent the conflicts that make people leave. I think this will help. If you have a better idea (aside from silencing me), I'd like to hear it.
Mature, intelligent people learn from the past. This guild is full of people who fit this description. Don't worry; 'twill all be fine.
I'm planning to put a "read at your own risk" disclaimer at the beginning of the completed thread along with a request to keep discussion of our guild's history both civilized and inside the thread.
Because of the people involved here, I don't think anything bad will happen. Why are you so worried?
