Chu'mana giggled again as she watched Ever bounce. She could tell that this mare didn't know much about the world around them and that she had just opened her eyes to what was out there. "Yes, there are some bad things in the world...but there are a lot of good things to even it out."
She tilted her head up almost as if she was trying to look at the bow. Flicking her ear a second, she smiled and blushed a bit, lowering her head slightly. "It is something special to me. My mate and I wear them to symbolize our love...but...I think he put one too many in his mane and tail." Giggling again, she closed her eyes and pictured Hok'ee with all his bows.

Ever titled her head at the word "mate." She had no idea what that meant aside from possibly meaning a partner of some sort. She noticed the blush and her curiousity was aroused even more. What could cause such a reaction? It was very close to her own that she had experienced when she first met Tawali. "A mate? Love? I don't think I understand this..." She felt like the whole world had a secret and they were keeping it from her. What was love? What did it feel like? And why would it cause anyone to symbolize it with a rainbow colored ribbon?

Chu'mana lifted her head upwards again, the blush fadeing slightly. She raised a curious eyebrow at the young mare then giggled lightly. "I guess it's to be expected. Not a lot of younger Soquili think about love or even quite understand what it is." Takeing a small breath, she set into motion her explination of it. "A mate is another Soquili that you wish to spend the rest of your life with and have a family with. Love...is a little harder to explain....it something you feel towards another that would make you do anything, even risk your own life to make sure the other was safe." She hoped that this explination gave Ever a pretty good idea of what it was all about.

She felt like she should sit down to take all of this in. Her eyes were wide again with disbelief and confusion. She was knowledgable about the outside world and the dangers it held, wild smart as some would say, but being tame was a new matter to her. "Well, I guess you could say that I love my two-legger. I feel like she's more family than anyone else I have met so far, but I do not wish to have a family with her."
She giggled at the thought, returning to her playful, thoughtful self again. Her icy blue eyes went back to gazing at the bow. "I guess there are different kinds of love just like there are different Soquilis and two-leggers."

She giggled a bit more about Ever's comment about not wanting to have a family with her two legger. Shakeing her head lightly, she shifted her weight on her hooves for a moment.
As she continued to listen to Ever she nodded her head. "Exactly. There is family love, the love of a lover, the love of friends....the list could go on and on if you wanted to sit down and list everything."

She laughed, shaking her head, her mane moving around with the movement and allowing the white star to be visible. "I don't think I'd have the time to do something like. I would much rather run around and enjoy myself. I'm an adventurer," she said proudly before adding quickly and quietly, "when I know something is safe to do."
She trotted off a few steps and bounced back and forth on her front hooves to her back. She wanted to play now. She wanted to run, to feel the wind speeding past her. She looked at Chu'mana, "Are you a lover or a runner," she asked over her shoulder, trotting in circles.

Chu'mana shrugged lightly and looked at Ever for a moment. "Well, you never know. If you have children you might be able to take them on adventures with you when they're old enough."
She raised an eyebrow at Ever's question. "I don't think I quite understand what you mean by am I a lover or a runner..." Her curly tail flicked a few times as she thought about the question.

Ever Sacrafice stepped high with each step, trying to kill the energy that was building up in her. "Do you like to run or do you prefer to daydream your day away is what I was asking. I can rarely stand still for a long amounts of times. I think it's because I'm hot blooded, my coat showing that very well."
She reared up, practicing what Tawali had shown her that last week, boxing at the air and trying to hop backwards like a bunny. Her air time lasted only eleven seconds before she came thundering back down onto the ground with her front hooves. She giggled with the attempt, trotting around in circles still with her light colored tail streaming out behind her like a flag of pride.

Chu'mana formed an o shape with her lips then smiled. "Ah I see now. I usually do both. It just depends on my mood." She watched Ever as she reared up then fall back to earth. "I know a few other Soquili who are like that, who can't stand still for long periods of time I mean."
She watched as Ever trotted in circles, giveing her tail another few quick flicks. The ribbon in her mane fluttered a bit as a cool breeze blew past Chu, cooling off her body as her black coat attracted the heat easily.

She stood still long enough to look at Chu'mana from a distance, flicking her tail idly. "My two-legger now lives with two others and their Soquilis are just as energetic as myself, but I have seen neither of them for a while now. I've only met one another that exceeded past my playfulness." She looked off in the distance and then quickly looked to the sky to see if she could spot him, but the sun was too bright for her eyes. Only birds flew overhead, chirpping happily to one another about the coming fall.
She sighed with a frown, pawing at the ground a bit in her own thoughts. Ever felt like she could ask this Soquili anything and get a very honest answer and her thoughts were trailing after the two feathers she had handed to her two-legger earlier that week. "Have you ever been torn between what your minds says and what your heart speaks?"

She smiled and nodded as she listened to Ever. Knowing about how some other Soquili acted, she wasn't surprised that there were other's that out shined this mare's playfullness.
The last question kind of stumped Chu'mana for a moment, thinking back, she sighed lightly and nodded. "Yes, I have. In the past I was torn between what my mind and heart felt."

She walked over towards Chu'mana, her icy blue eyes locking with the mare's emerald greens. She wanted to know if there was a right or wrong and the eyes were always the passage to the soul of another. "Which did you follow?" She wanted to know what she should follow before the next time she was faced with dilema again.

Chu thought about the question carefully, trying to word her answer carefully before she spoke. "It all depends on what they're torn about. If it's about love usually my heart. If it's something that's logical saying how to get home if I get lost, I usually use my head. Certain situations your head knows what it's talking about more than your heart, and vice versa."

Ever knew that there were different times to listen to both halves, but she tended to listen to her head before her heart on most matters. She thought about how to re-word her question because if she was to ever meet Tawali again soon, she wanted to be certain of what was true for herself. "What I should have asked is, if it was a matter of love, which would you follow?" She had a feeling she already knew the answer, but she was so uncertain about asking this and this Soquili had obviously chosen a mate that would make her very happy.

Chu'mana thought for a moment, she had been a sensible Soquili when she wanted to be, but other times she could be kind of flighty. Giveing her tail a few flicks in thought, she looked at Ever and smiled. "When it comes to love...I normally follow my heart, because it knows what's best for me. And your heart can sometimes be clouded with emotions if it chooses the wrong thing that isn't good for you. So sometimes it helps to give your heart a little help from your head."
