She nodded with a slight grin. She sighed as she thought of a few things she could do. One would require her to inflict an injury on herself or someone else but she was not in the mood for such a thing on such a pathetic reason. She 'mmm' ed when she thought of what to do and held out her palm. Her ruby red eyes flashed and a fairly small fire ball appeared just above the palm of her hand. Her eyes flashed once more and the ball started taking shape into something. It grew skinny and long with a bulb at the top. After time, the bulb opened into the head of a beautiful rose, the stem grew thorns and bent a little in certain places. A few more seconds went by and the perfection of the rose increased and finally looked realistic. The petals were even moving around slightly, giving the appearance that the petals were blowing in the wind.
She smiled and then looked up at the celing. Her eyes flashed as they did before, and a flock of fiery ravens appeared above. They were flying about in uncertain directions and were even making their calls as if they were the real birds. One of them fluttered over to her and landed on her finger gently. She smiled at it and blew it out. As soon as the bird dispersed, the other birds morfed together and formed an almost life size, large and grand dragon. Certain parts of the dragon were different colors depending on the heat of the fire in those areas making the dragon look real as well. It roared as a real dragon would and placed one of it's large talons on her shoulder. Steam came out of it's nostrels as if it were breathing.
She sighed softly and brought up her hand, snapping her fingers once and the dragon dispersed in a bright blue flame. She brought down her head to face forward at the rose that was still floating in her hand. She grabbed it slowly and daintily with her pointer and thumb fingers, reaching in her coat pocket with her other hand. She pulled out a small bag of sand and held it above the rose. She poured the sand onto the rose and the fire grew to a bright blue from increased heat. The sand melted on contact with the rose forming into a glass. It looked as if you were pouring a silver paint onto a real rose as it formed from top to bottom. Soon, all she was holding was a parfect glass replica of the rose she made from before. She placed the bag of sand back into her coat pocket and held the shiny glass rose out to Ryu.
"I can do more if you like but this is fine for now."

Saer approached the entrance to the dojo of fire. Gazing at its massive structure in amazement, he slowly made his way up the stairs and through the main entranceway of the dojo. The temperature of the air seemed to increase the further he moved in, but he didn't let that deter him from seeking knowledge of this ancient clan. Now within the first chamber within the dojo he called out. "Hello, I was wondering if anyone here could teach me in the ways of the ninja, specifically in the style of fire."

Ryu looked at him and smiled. "Welcome. Right now, these two young ladies are going through a test to take my job as Sensei here. I decided to step down to make sure i had more time to watch the other dojos."

No problem, I'll just stand back a bit and watch from a distance. Saer moved close to a wall and readied himself in case he had to evade.

Ryu sighes and takes a sip from his flask, waiting for Aslinda's try.

Aslinda smiles brightly. Nete had impressed her with her use of fire. Very few dragons Aslinda had know could even controll fire so well. "Well done Lady Nete. You are skilled with fire that would rival the skills of many great dragons." Aslinda says and looks back at Ryu, "I suppose it is now my turn."
Aslinda begin by summoning fire from within herself. A small sphere of fire seems to slowly pull out from Aslinda's chest. Aslinda then made the fire grow into a lager sphere. As the fire grew it also increases in heat. It changes from a ruby red collor to a bright blue and was even white in parts. As the sphere grew the whole dojo became even more heated and Aslinda was swallowed by the sphere. Then the sphere began to waver and break into smaller parts.
Trees of fire, flowers of all kinds, and a giant see through ball room forms from the fire. In the air fire dragons seem to dance slowly towards the ground. When the fire dragons land the change into human forms. Some begin to dance age old dances that honor fire while others begin to sing ancient songs that few alive know the language to. Aslinda stands in the center of the ball room with her eyes glowing molten gold.
Suddenly the ball room is invaded by more fire human forms. A war seems to break out on the dance floor. Fire dancers and singers alike fall and vanish. Some of the fire attackers fall and vanish as well. Finally the fire attackers claim victory. They march out of the ball room and seem to burn it down. All the fire figures then vanish leaving Aslinda, with tears shining in her eyes, still standing where she originally started.
Aslinda looks at Ryu and says, "That was the slaughter of Rumfir. One of the greatest tragedy that ever befell the dragon race." Aslinda then wipes away her tears before they can fall. "Very few remember what happened but for those who do... they understand what fire can really do if used wrongly."

Ryu watched both of them. "Very good both of you. Now the third test will have two parts. First you must successfully block an attack of water without getting touched, using only fire, then come up with the best attack you have and attack me with it. When you think you have a good enough defense let me know and i will attack. You will be scored in how long you can hold the defense and the creativity of the defense. When it comes time for the attack, you will be graded on how efficiant the attack is, how much chakra it uses up for the size of the attack, and how long you can keep it going."

Aslinda smirks as the perfect defense comes to her mind. The defense she planned to use only takes a very small amount of chakra since the chakra was only used to keep the flame heated. But the flames themselves and her "sheild" would be a passed down ability from her tribe. "Ryu-sama, do you wish for us to put up or defense then have you attack it or have us attempted to block your attacks?"

Ryu looked over. "Hello, im Ryu Ookami, and this is the Fire Dojo, so if that is where you want to be, then your in the right place. Right now, im testing two of my students to see which will take over the teaching duties here."

She raises her head and her eyes wander the invisible force infront of her it seemed. She was searching for something, not sure of what it was since there were so many options. Her red eyes grazed back and forth slowly between Aslinda and Ryu Sama.
Interesting way of testing someone.
She thought as she looked at Ryu once again before closing her eyes in thought.
Finally she opened them slightly with a smirk and let her arms tighten in their crossed position as she got comfortable.
"Aslinda San. You may go first before me if you would like."
She offered as nicely as she could considering she always spoke in a mellow monotone voice and never usually showed her emotional side all that much.

Aslinda smiles and says, "I thank you Lady Nete." Aslinda then smiles at the awaiting students. We should probably make this fast, its not fair to the waiting students.
Aslinda focuses on some invisible force and a serene smile slowly appears on her face. Aslinda's hair begins to blow wildly as if in the wind, but no wind is present. Fire begins to cover her hair like a thin shield. Slowly the fire spreads over her whole body. Aslinda's eyes then open. They are completely gold and have a serene look to them.
"I am ready to be tested, Ryu-sama." Aslinda says in a serene voice.

"All right then." Ryu makes a couple handsigns. He then summons a great torrent of cold water at her barrier.

The minute the water makes contact with Aslinda's shielding, the fire glows a fierce white coloring. All the water quickly evaporates the second it touches the fire. Not even the steam from the water touches Aslinda as she stands patiently waiting to see if Ryu will make any other attacks on her defense.
