Oy, I checked out all three of those lists, here's my results:
First one (Japan-guide) created account, and made a couple of inquires, the format's a little confusing but not too bad)
Second one (MLE) Oy! I have no money to upgrade to a gold, and so it won't let me contact anyone!! *tear* But it's okay, hopefully somebody will contact me ^_^ I think I saw one of the same chicks in both sites, they're both named Yui and sounded kinda the same, but I dunno mrgreen
Third one (Glory be): Sent her a mail form, what else am I supposed to do???? I'm not sure, I was a little confused by her engurish...

Id love a japanese penpal~ But i cant type or read kanji on my computer D: and i only know a little bit anyway, i almost had lessons, but they were cancelled u_____u; englandyousuck
Would i be able to find a japanese penpal willign to help me learn japanese do you think? or...? i wouldnt want to sound rude to anyone ._.;;

you don't need to know how to read or type kanji... most of them there are trying to speak in english...and mostly, they are very eager to learn english. 3nodding so u have no problem.... 3nodding blaugh
oh hey! and i found a japanese penpal already! yey! we agreed to exchange letters through airmail!...i already sent her a letter, but she hasn't replied yet. xd sweatdrop
