Game Phreak Zero A Soporific Gaia Election?Now, if we are going to do this, why don't we collude now? Select a good candidate to run for it. I would like to run, but if a more suitable candidate from the pool of qualified individuals can be found, I'd let them run. I just want some thought going in this direction, to get a jump on competition if this does come to pass. The only way for us to win an election would be if the liberals split into many different parties. We would have to agree to form one party (which probably won't happen) and nominate on candidate...I do not think that Edward Yee, KiwiiHead, and myself would be good candidates (others are probably included in this group) because we are neo-cons and we would have to carry a fair amount of the moderate vote to win. I could be wrong in my analysis of this election, but I don't think it really matters. EDIT: I may be wrong and Yee, Kiwii, and I (and the other neo-cons) might be good choices because we are so far right. We would just have to hope all the Green-Commie-Socialists form different parties and have 200 candidates... What we would need is someone who hasn't had any real big blowups with the liberal faction. Someone who gets along with the liberal mods such as Dakai, Drakyn, and Duchess. Ah, screw it. We're going to lose to the "bush is a lyar!!!1!" crowd.

GaeaHorned So anyone watching the DNC convention? I was. Clinton was busy rewriting history. It was kind of funny, but also annoying. He said that Bush's tax cuts were passed while we were at war. I was like "I'm confused. Were we at war in summer 2001?"

As long as the election is not stickied, then the lunatic left (thank you Smokiejoe for that way of describing the fly-by-nighters) will probably ignore the election, or just pop in and say 'Bush sucks' or something dumb like that. I think y'all would stand a good chance.
Are VP's going to play into this election? I don't think Limbodog has made any mention of that yet.

But, if we could get a moderate-conservative at least in the top 5 in the Instant Run-off model then I would have to say that we won a big one. I hope that we can do this by keeping the right-wing coalition that exist in reality together here in Gaia, and possibly getting the libertarians to help out with a number two spot... Instead of dealing with mules and such, I'd have to say that trading away our third/fourth/fifth choice spots in exchange for someone else's support on their second/third/fourth spot would be FAR more effective. Besides, once you assassinate your mule Danjel would lead a violent revolution against the "vast right-wing conspiracy"...

Anyways, I think so long as we stay strong and find someone who has an actual potential to win (personally, I would go for A Soporific) there'd be a good chance.

Hey guys I am in marching many 8 in the morning till 9 at night and this is my dinner break so i will make it quick No the Gaia election thing is stupid without a doubt. Liberals out number us 20 to 1 making it nothing but a poor attempt to get another liberal mod. Secondly I watched the DNC last night and I thought it was funny, now Al Gore is calm. I was watching fox of course and it was pretty interesting how Hilary and Bill were making their own version of the last twelve years up. Anyway did anyone see the NY heart Hilary signs? It was a all black crowd. (not being racist) Will we changed our name because Shem who is against free speech here on Gaia decided it would be funny to buy our name and make fun of us. i am currently enveloped on making a couple of websites one for my self and my airsoft team, one for individualist, and one as a comical relief thing...the comical thing is with my friends help bob(on here its platinumbob) and the book is my first hate crime(we always are very politcaly incorrect) and its going ton be me beating him up the entire time so ya its going to be funny once i have completed it i will post links....but first does anyone here have any websites that can enable me to create websites for free or very cheap?

He simply wished to hand the guild 'rights' over to others, who declined for obvious reasons.
