Mustang's crafty and powerful but so is Armstrong. Alex is a big softy though. I couldn't really make up my mind so I picked tie.

Ideally I'd say Mustang. But if his gloves get wet or he is caught with out means to make fire, Armstrong would have the upper hand. His source of alchemy isn't as easily disposed.
Armstrong's only down fall is that he's boastful and long winded.

D_Marx I think Mustang would hold a good fight. If it were to the point where they were against each other on opposing sides, I'm pretty sure Armstong would see Mustang's side, though he is quite proud but not above admitting a mistake. They'd really have to hate one another to fight. Mustang can heat rocks to the breaking point, but his brain doesn't always work under pressure. We've seen Armstrong on the offensive, but most of the time he's defending someone. I'm pretty sure even if Armstrong were winning, he'd lose because he worked under Mustang for a very long time and had loyalty ties to him. Just because he understood his superior and his goals. I agree wholly.

Isn't Armstrong higher in ranking? Lol, its already stereotypical for Mustang to win but if it came down to it who would know. I mean yea Mustang is "crafty" Also people are judging that since hes a bit more massive he would be slower and stuff. Size doesn't matter LOOK AT ED FOR GOODNESS SHAKE! Lol, theres so many factors if you wanna get technical with it. Location, weather, turain, or any limations period. However if in a open ,flat and empty plain clear weather and no wind. Just one, two, or if need be three snaps of his fingers the fire would not jsut burn but suck all the oxygen out of the air... To be honest thats all I know what Mustang can do. If anything else like buildings or massive rocks anything that could prevent fire from its full effect it would differ a bit. As you have seen Armstrong move quite well though walls.. shifting larger object won't be as easy to explode and extra. Getting close to Mustang would be his near end with armstong. I already put to much stupid thinking into this lol. I know there is tons of holes in my thinking but thats just what I think...
