I've seen a ton of Ed vs Roy topics, here, the anime section, and other sites, but I don't think I've ever seen a Mustang vs Armstrong topic. Think about it, both talented, experienced, and have super sharp skills. So, who do you think would win?

i think that Mustang doesn't always think things through like the episode when he was going to fight scar in the rain and completely forgot hist glove can't make a spark when they're wet duh. Plus Armstrong is much stronger and if he gets a hold of Mustang he can fling him like twenty miles.

I would say Mustang. He knows how to strategize (sp?), I'm sure, and more than anything I think that fire is the better thing to have in the fight then muscle. Sure, Armstrong could grab him and cause seriously bad damage to him, but that all depends if he even gets to him. All Mustang would have to do is watch his back and if Armstrong got too close, he could shove him a spark or two. wink And big ones at that.

Of coarse, let's hope that they would never have to get into such an ugly situation in the first place, right? neutral

Well then I guess Mustang would have to be a damn good dodger. neutral

I dunno I'd have to say Roy would win a fight with Armstrong. But then again they are well matched. I'll have to go with Roy

i think Mustang would win,well he is the flame alchemist.

I think Mustang would hold a good fight. If it were to the point where they were against each other on opposing sides, I'm pretty sure Armstong would see Mustang's side, though he is quite proud but not above admitting a mistake. They'd really have to hate one another to fight.

Mustang can heat rocks to the breaking point, but his brain doesn't always work under pressure. We've seen Armstrong on the offensive, but most of the time he's defending someone. I'm pretty sure even if Armstrong were winning, he'd lose because he worked under Mustang for a very long time and had loyalty ties to him. Just because he understood his superior and his goals.
