I want the sunglasses with the headsup display inside, with the mousing toggle on the earpiece and GPS preloaded. Who wouldn't?
On a more mundane note, I wouldn't mind if the cases of all my devices were transparent with lots of LEDs involved. I like seeing the guts of things.

Haha...half of my computers are caseless with their guts spilling out... And I would love a headsup display; I have a friend who re-vamped a headsup display to be worn more easily...although they don't exactly have the GPS and his mousing toggle is a one-hand keyboard and pad. But he's getting closer to full gargoyle piece-by-piece.

Trau Mir Machines are becoming self-contained and miniaturized...which means we have those hideous iPods now being able to do almost anything...music, phone, net, camera, video...who needs all that garbage? Who knows how to get in there and make that tech work the way you want it to work? There are a few, no doubt, but the corporations do their damndest to keep you from being able to do that. What can you do? Don't buy into self-containment...don't buy the turquoise and neon pink cpu/monitor/radio/atv. Understand how it works...and understand how you can get it to work the way you want. I still want my music/phone/video/etc hardwired neurally... you don't have to bother with a headset, the phone is a part of you... and the smaller they make phones, the closer they get to giving me my cybernetic uplink to the world...

I have "belonged" to this Art Movement since '99. It was launched by local cyberpunk author Bruce Sterling and grows to this day. The idea is to make technology and environmentally healthy living beautiful...slinky and hep. Not just green, but VIRIDIAN. None of this granola-y, Birkenstock looking mess. Tree hugging behavior with some flash and style.
This seems right on point to the original post. http://www.viridiandesign.org

I like self contained.... if it were easy to get in there an make it work for you, it wouldn't be fun. half the entertainment is getting to the programming, cracking it, modding it, and then telling it what you want it to do...... However I abhorr apple computer company, so iPods are evil beyond reason.
