cowwwcowww Um..... I think it has been around longer then 500 years. Perhaps <.< I didn't pay alot of attention to his story since it sounded like a load of bull xd I still remember the major details, but he could have said 5000 or something and I didn't remember right ninja

if it will become a war (galactic war!!! xd ) we could probably do something about it right? I mean, all of us, telekinetic, pyrokinetic, hydrokinetic, etc. I mean, think about it, if we all trained as hard as we could manage, we could win that war... right?

Problem is, we don't really have that sort of power, and to achieve such a power as to fight with it is extreme practice. o.o The way I see it is basically just the "Que sera, sera" concept. Whatever will happen, will happen. If a war is to break out, then it shall. If we are meant to become stronger and to "win" this war, then we shall. If the world is going to end, then it shall, for we have no sway on Destiny and Destiny alone and only our own little puzzle piece in the great puzzle of existance determines our fates. But, then again, I'm a firm believer in Destiny and Fate and the idea that everything we do, including this message I'm typing up right here, were all planned somehow and were destined to happen. sweatdrop

Well, here's my theory on the whole thing concerning the veil.
It's been around for a long time point taken. I have no real theories on this, but it must've been setup a long time ago with some strong a** magick if it's still around and functioning, for the most part.
Lately there has been an upsurge of "New Age" interests. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with this, but I think it might possibly be due to the psychic phenomenon increase because the veil is weakening. So much that even the non-sensitives are starting to feel it.

As for the aftermath... I personally think that there will be an upsurge of energy flow between the two worlds? planes? levels of existence. sweatdrop In this sense, I believe that alot more energy interactions will happen and alot more will change than we can even comprehend. I have no idea what will change though, but I'm pretty sure that since there is a greater amount of flow, there will be an increase in both paranorml activities and abilities.
If war decides to set in, I'd guess the probable explanation would be that it was caused by the backdraft created by the flow of energy. This world has plenty of energy, but I think the otherside of the veil is much more... rich with it. And if I'm right on this I'd be sure as hell suprised, but I'm guessing there'd be a type of backdraft. Like how air in high pressure areas moves to low pressure regions I think the same thing will happen. If that's true, there's going to be alot of confusion and... Sufficit to say, hate because some of this side don't understand that there's more than flesh and blood. (There's psi!)

(always have to have a bad guy in a movie, and this sounds like something that'd make a good movie) It's already kind of the plot of a book. Raven's Gate by Anthony Horowitz. It's pretty good. The sequel just came out. Course it's just a barrier between our world and 'Hell' where the guy the dark magic users pray to lives.

Thousands of years ago a war raged in the spirit world (earlier I posted 500, but I believe it was 5000, actually ^^;; ). The veil was created to prevent spirits from entering out world to escape the war. The moment the veil disappears there'll be two reasons for war to begin here. 1. Attempt to recover any souls that have escaped here. 2. Attempt to recover/kill any souls that escape after the fall of the veil. Now assume that one of us becomes the next host for an escaped soul. Instantly we're pulled into the battle 3nodding The only question to ask is- can a war really go on for 5000 years? It could be that the spirit world war ended and they're at peace now 3nodding In which case when the veil falls we'll all just be like "hey", and they'll be like "yo". whee

Is the Veil similar to what some people call "The Conversions"? The descriptions seem to hold similarities, except that the people who call it "The Conversions" tend to be elitist.
