I don't think even Ron Jeremy has had sex 100 000 times. You're safe.

Remember. I'm Taily. Give me a girl (hypothetically) and two weeks, and we'll see. wink

---

Failure Rate is only 0.3% in theory (Go check your post. It's 99.7, not 99.99% wink ), much agreed.

However, if you go do a survey and look at how badly the modifiers come into play; yes, using birth control properly really does help and finding a girl who isn't likely to poke holes in your condom is pretty easy.

So, why are there still accidental, unplanned pregnancies even after all these precautions are put into place?

I'm not entirely covered, and i'd rather wait until i'm certain. smile

Well, there's always miscarriage (most first pregnancies miscarry because the body is not used to being pregnant), and sometimes abortion if that's your choice.

So, I would have to say that often, unplanned pregnancies and failture of birth control pills tends to occur due to certain things. For example, if you're taking medicine or antibiotics, that can ******** up the hormonal BC pill.

You can also reduce the effectiveness of the pill if you take your daily multivitimin too closely to the time you take your BC pill.

And if the pills expire, the hormones may be less effective too.

I would have to say that sex is very much about pleasure and bonding with another person. I could never have sex with someone that I did not know or care about. For me it is the most intimate thing ever. And not only that, but the flirting, the a** grabbings and boobies grabbings during the day, the inuendoes, and the laying together after sex are all part of sex for me. It's not just hump and come.

So, I'd have to say that the main reason I have sex (frequently) with M0rgan is because I love him the most ever, and I find him to be the sexiest man alive, and I want to convey that to him in a way that words really don't suffice.

For me, it's really hard to tell how long I could hold out from having sex with him. But before he came to school here and we were in a long distance relationship, I was practically having withdrawl symptoms from not being able to have sex or touch him.

Physical contact is incredibly important.

If you take premature babies and give them touch therapy, their survival rates skyrocket.

That's not just a conincidence.

Vyce: You, sir, are very much correct in what I was trying to say. You also put it in a way much more elegant than I could have done - thank you.

I'm a guy: it's not MY choice and I can't really do much in either of those two cases.

That's also what i'm trying to say in regards to Axeman -- there are other things that come into play. Just because a condom is 99.7% effective, the pill is 90-ish% effective, and having both together reduces your chance to a 0.0001%, there's always something that's going to increase things.

Antibiotics is the most easily-acquired problem out of all those, see, and considering how a general populace take them for small problems?

It's the intimacy and bonding part that would do it for me. Pleasure's all good and fine, but my right hand does that part a-ok; I can't lie with it afterwards, or flirt with it, or make saucy innuendoes towards it over the phone during absence times...

It's not just pleasure at all. I don't expect to be uplifted into a Heavenly bliss or some sort of Nirvana simply because i've waited until marriage, but at the same time, I'm not wanting to go and simply make it a mundane, average point in life by going out and having sex with random girls met at nightclubs.

No thanks.

I'm going to say that I don't feel virginity (or non-virginity) is as special as it's percieved in this modern day. Who cares if you're a virgin or not? So what? It's your first time...big deal. Such a big deal isn't made the first time you do other things...like eating a new food or spending time in a new place.

The big deal people make about whether you're a virgin or not is dumb. I lost mine maybe about 8 or 9 months ago...sure it was special enough...but no more special than any other time I've done it (and I've done it a lot since then). As far as I'm concerned, every time you have sex should be special. Not just the first time...then other than making babies, what's the point in having sex?

Yeah...and there's my 1 & 1/3 cents...

If I didn't do things this way, I wouldn't be much of a guild leader, now, would I? Thanks for the props.

I agree.

I never found any virtue in sex for sex only.

However, I would have to say that being able to build up a sex life with my fiance before the wedding night is probably one of the smartest things we've ever done. You see, it took me about a year to orgasm from sex, mostly due to sexual blocks that I had from my past experiences and from my gender-education. And believe it or not, sex is incredibly important in a relationship, especially one where you're going to marry and eventually have children.

So I'm glad we dealt with our sex problems before we got married, just as I'm glad that we got to figure out how we spend our money on our own. Money and sex are really important in a legal and physical bonding that is so socially important. So that's one thing that we had to work out before we could really commit to marriage, even though we've probably wanted to marry for about a year now.
