Creedence of Clearwater (cat form)HP: (12 auto damage) 14/50 (boss in beam range) Location: B11->B9 Action: kitty beam targeting Alekto's skeletons Damage/Healing/Buff Done: 14This encounter was proving way above their level, Creedence realized with dismay as more skeletons rose back up along with the temple. The dismay only grew when the massive leviathan rose up and a huge torrent of water crashed over the entire area. A boss and a constant hoard of mobs that wouldn't stay down? They were, quite honestly, <********> "Don't give up Alekto! I believe in you!" s**t s**t s**t, Alekto kinda sucked. She was way too new for a fight on this level. They both were. Seeing two more skeletons harassing the senshi, Creedence gritted her teeth and used her ult. Seeing them collapse, the mauvian snorted, trying to ignore the growing sense of unease despite her success, and got ready to call out more encouragement. Instead there was a startled yowl of pain as three more skeletons crashed down onto her, bony fingers grasping and dragging at her small body.

Sessrumnir, Knight of JupiterHP: 64 / 100 Location: D9 Action: Attacking skeletons (All 3 of his, 1/5 damage to the damaged one of Alastor's to knock it out, and 2/5 to another of Alastor's) Interaction Roll: N/A Damage/Healing/Buff Done: 10 + 3d6 direct magic (18 ) The leviathan’s roar rolled through him, heavy and to the bone. Sessrumnir grimaced at the force of the water crashing across the battlefield, boots skidding half a step before he found a foothold again. His entire body seemed to shiver with that unnatural dread, the fog gnawing at the edges of his focus.
But he looked immediately to Alastor.
Still upright, still thinking, still acting with stubborn precision that Sessrumnir knew better than anyone. Good.
The skeletons swarmed again. Sessrumnir stepped in with a practiced ease, cutting down the first two before they had fully knit together. The third tried to circle behind Alastor, but Sessrumnir’s sword intercepted it before it could get the idea fully formed.
He didn’t need to tell Alastor how to fight. Never had and never would. But he shifted closer. Close enough so that he wasn’t crowding him, but that he could make sure Alastor knew he had his back, as always.
Alastor warned Lucien not to get underfoot. Sessrumnir huffed, amused despite the fog closing in.
“Lucien’s too smart for that,” he said, glancing quickly at his husband.
“Keep pushing through,” he said, voice low and meant for Alastor alone. “I’ll keep the path clear. You don’t have to look anywhere but forward.”
He trusted Alastor with everything he had. And he would carve down whatever dared rise between them and that cursed heart in the temple. Quote: Knight Weapon: Broad blade with lethal magic. Lucien (Mauvian form)HP: 39 / 75 Location: D9 Action: Attacking skeletons (TL;DR, Total Alastor, Sess, and Lucien KOed all 9 of their skeletons = 48 dmg total for the three of them) Interaction Roll: N/A Damage/Healing/Buff Done: 10 + 1d6 Mauvian Claws (11) The shockwave hit and Lucien dug in hard, claws hooking into the thick fabric of Alastor’s collar, just enough to keep from getting knocked off.
Alastor warned him not to get underfoot, and Lucien snorted softly.
“And risk getting even more damp? That hardly sounds appealing,” he huffed as he puffed out his chest, tail swishing.
The skeletons rose again, but with Alastor’s magic destroying three of them with ease, Lucien launched himself from Alastor’s shoulder, raking claws through the bones that were barely formed, tearing the skeleton down.
He landed lightly beside Alastor’s boot, staying close to both him and Sessrumnir for the moment. Alastor’s unease was subtle, but Lucien could feel it. The dampened magic. The creeping dread.
He glanced up.
“Your mind is still sharp. Your magic is still strong. Whatever this place is doing, it hasn’t taken anything from you that matters,” he said with a flick of his tail. “Don’t waste strength doubting yourself.”
As two more skeletons clattered forward, Lucien watched as Sessrumnir closed in on Alastor’s other side. He felt glowing pride at the seamless coordination between them.
It was almost a comfort, even here.
“You already know the plan,” he murmured to Alastor, using some debris to launch himself back up to his perch on Alastor’s shoulder. “You lead the strike. We handle the rest.”
Because even if Alastor was sickened and fighting against manufactured dread, he was still Alastor.
And Lucien would not let anything drag him under. Quote: Mauvian Claws: When struck by these enhanced claws, Lucien’s opponent will feel an itching, decaying sensation around the wound. Black quickly fills the veins surrounding the laceration, giving a horrible sensation as though the area was rotting away. The effects can last for ten seconds if the Mauvian is in their natural form or fifteen seconds if the Mauvian is in their humanoid or Senshi form, and will start to fade soon after, unless the player wants to take extended damage.

Deep Space Sailor Lovas of FragilityHP: 26 - 12 = 14Location: Moving to D8 Action: Attacking his skeletons with basic magic [one use left] Interaction Roll: N/A Damage/Healing/Buff Done: 12 Even if they tried to move in, he and Regal were nowhere near close enough to reach the large fungal creature that had appeared on the path, which meant they weren't doing anything to it, which also meant they were just sitting here waiting to be attacked. He didn't have an infinite supply of magic- and he also didn't have an infinite supply of stamina, as much of Lovas would like to believe otherwise... He'd survived Chaos for centuries, so being one body among the masses to help on another's world should be literally no problem. But his world was a familiar Chaos, and he didn't know this one. These creatures were very forthcoming in their assault, and Lovas was accustomed to having a few more... resources? At his disposal? More than he had here, anyway. The skeletons lumbered into him, dragging him back, beating against him with their warped bones, and there were enough of them to be a hindrance. And the circumstances were such that Lovas' magic was... not particularly helpful, though that had ever been the case when dealing with something that wasn't quite alive. He'd been joking (mostly) when he thought it would be funny and ironic to die here, but they did face Chaos, and it was a real possibility. He could've come all this way, lasted this long... for nothing... Lovas' turned to Regal, who had been the first face he'd seen on Earth and who had indulged him on this expedition of curiosity. Lovas' didn't know much of Knights, but he knew Regal had to have some sort of ability or power or something? "Not to put pressure on you, or anything, but..." He gestured vaguely to the center billowing smoke. "Is that it?"

Squire Regal of ChronosHP: 51 - 12 = 39Location: Moving to D8 Action: Shielding himself and Lovas with his magic for half damage Interaction Roll: N/A Damage/Healing/Buff Done: N/A Sawtooth should've come instead of him... Well, hang on, no- The fact was that none of them should've come. Despite his years as a Squire, Regal was not combat efficient, and his magic was nearly useless. And Lovas was arguably in a worse situation, being physically and mentally unwell already, no matter how much he refused to acknowledge it. Sawtooth could've fought... But it wasn't like Regal wanted his husband out here on this Chaos-infested planet however many light years from home... So none of them should've come, and he'd known that from the get-go, but he'd rationalized it somehow as them physically being there would help. Or that it was good for Lovas so that he could see what was possible. Which was stupid. Why was Regal so stupid. His lips pursed as the Senshi glanced over at him, and Regal clung a bit tighter to the ring of his censer. "Yes," he quipped softly. "That is pretty much it." Pretty much, because he could channel a bit of his power, the smoke swirling around them and lessening the hurt they'd have to endure. ...But just lessening. It wouldn't do anything to get them out of this situation. "I don't know what you were expecting- I told you-" And that was probably the second or third time he'd said as much in the past twenty minutes. He sighed tersely. "It doesn't matter. We're stuck here, and I have to rely on you, so please try not to die..."

Character Name and journal link Page Yetzirah of CosmosHP: 14 / 50 Location: B11 -> C9 Action: Attacking skellies + uh... DreadOut Interaction Roll: Attack, 1d8 Damage/Healing/Buff Done: 3 2/5 | 5/5 | 5/5Try not to think too hard about it? About the giant skeleton-fungi thing that was actually starting to move? He cast the other knight a supremely skeptical look. Especially when the gigantic skeleton moved, and icy water crashed onto the land and nearly caused him to fall. Then it cried out, bringing the cobbled together skeletons back to their haphazard feet and he got some swipes from that... He kicked out at one, and though it knocked the arm of it, the thing was clearly still more than capable of fighting on, never mind the others... Fog crept in around him, his feet kicking up the stuff as it condensed and swirled. Out of the corner of his eye, more shapes moved. Clawed, fanged, they slithered and jerked just beyond his vision, out of range but waiting. His pulse was in his throat, skin sticky with sweat and fingers icy. He wasn't strong enough for this. Why did he come here? Why?

Character Name and journal link Mauvian LoganHP: 14/50 Location: D14 -> D12 Action: attacking leviathanInteraction Roll: N/A Damage/Healing/Buff Done: 15 (roll below oops) Logan hissed as more skeletons appeared, tail twitching madly. He dug his claws deep into the soil and puffed up every strand of fur he could manage to try to look intimidating. Not like it probably mattered to a bunch of brainless skeletons, but still. Then he was drenched by the rush of water as the leviathan rose from the water, making his fur quite useless. He spun around, spitting mad and cold and absolutely terrified of the things in the fog, but for the moment, his sheer anger at the beast that had been causing all of the issues. The beast corrupted by Chaos that plagued Dagon's world. Shaking as much of the water off as he could, he charged forward, planted his paws and claws once more, and shot his laser at the leviathan, screaming incoherently the entire time and ignoring the three skeletons that shambled after him.

Character Name and journal link Selenga, Squire of IdaHP: 39/75 Location: E13 -> E11 Action: attacking his skeletons Interaction Roll: N/A Damage/Healing/Buff Done: 14 Selenga moved forward as soon as the leviathan started to appear, knowing it would be better if they all stopped being so spread out. Converge on the bigger threat. Yet, more skeletons drew themselves together from the detritus and he scowled, taking in a deep breath before casting his magic again. Two of the three that appeared by him disintegrated, but one managed to hold on. Damn, damn, damn! Quote: Selenga thrusts his blunted, decorative shortsword into the air as though it were a beacon. His magic pulses, radiating a feeling of safety. The area feels sacred, like a sanctuary, and there is an urge to cease the fighting and respect the sanctuary. The magic affects every character within an eight foot radius, and can last for up to 30 seconds.

No. Just because the water monster was big didn't mean he would run. At least, run away. Dagon needed help. Her and her planet needed this thing to die. He ran forward, his way blocked by more skeletons. Frustrated, he shouted, "Double Slash!" and carved his way through them with his magical claws, ripping them apart. All three of the newly reformed ones perished and his tail gave a brief wag of delight in his violence. He would not back down. He would destroy to help save.
