Aberdonia hadn't had a clear idea what any of this would entail when the mysterious message had popped up on his senshi phone. Well, no, that wasn't really right. It was a meeting of some kind to develop strategies and potentially develop improved communications amongst the forces of "Order", which he supposed included himself. Which implied that the forces of "Order" were far more disorganized in structure and haphazard in approaches and long-term goals that he would have expected when he believed them to be "terrorists." Which really undercut the narrative that these people were terrorists, though real terrorists often acted as separate cells, didn't they....
He shook his head as he made his way toward the meeting place. He'd headed out on the pretense of going on an errand to another part of town to pick up some groceries at a Mediterranean and Halal market closer to this side of town. It wasn't exactly a lie, as he intended to pick up the groceries after seeing what the meeting was all about. But it wasn't the full story, either, and he had no idea when he'd feel comfortable having this conversation with anybody. Even Keesh, or Yasmeen. And they would almost certainly be the first people he told. If he ever got around to telling anyone. They were his dearest friends and family, and the least likely to judge him. He still didn't want them to conflate him with the terrorists they'd grown up believing the forces of "Order" to be.
Rubbing his partially bare upper arms to stay a bit warmer, he once again wished winter was over, so he wouldn't be so cold when he powered up. And he deeply suspected the better part of valor would be to power up, to protect his identity, and to indicate belonging amongst these people, as he believed he did. Belong, that was. Taking a deep breath, he slipped into the warehouse, looking around curiously, glad that the warehouse, if nothing else, blocked out the wintry breeze blowing around outside.
So many different types of people were already gathering. Most looked to be about his age, or a bit older. People with fancy costumes broadly similar in design to his own--senshi, most likely--sailor collars, brooches, bows, sashes, tiaras--some of them even had wings on their butts. Most of those looked human...or maybe there were some aliens, but aliens who could pass for human. Tianyi had only looked mostly human, but that didn't rule out either wilder, or tamer, alien species. Most of the others looked unlike senshi, and carried a strange assortment of objects visibly on their person--staves, an ocarina, a shield, at least one bow...who were these people? Senshi? Or something else? Unlike the senshi, they appeared to all be human, and some of them sported rings of a similar style. Were they a different type of magical people?
Nobody he knew, though--more's the pity. Uncertain how to proceed, he drifted toward a pair of senshi standing together, one in black-magenta-tan, another in white-golden brown-navy blue, and coughed awkwardly.
"Hi, I'm new here. Would it be ok if I stood with you two during the meeting; I don't know anyone else here, and I'm still figuring a lot of things out," he added, rubbing the back of his neck shyly.

Tempesti smiled slightly as the boy approached them, despite the immediate spike in concern when she registered just how young he looked. She had been aware (intellectually anyway) that there were kids involved in this fight, but she that didn’t exactly prepare her for the reality that she very well might be fighting alongside children at some point. She suspected that should it come to it she wouldn’t be able to push down the impulse to protect them. It would probably manifest itself to a hovering, aggravating degree. She was already concerned about how little protection that fuku would offer him against the cold, or against much else.
“Of course! I’m…pretty new to this myself. She decided against speculating aloud about the fact that the boy’s magic was almost certainly more stable than her own. “I’m Sailor Tempesti and this is Sailor Aruna,” she gestured toward the other senshi.
The message she'd received had been met with relief, and Solaris wasted no time reaching out to a few others she knew to pass along the message. See who'd be there, who was busy--or who maybe just didn't trust it. She at least managed to confirm Realta would go with her, and after a little bit of personal debate...
The kid didn't have his signet ring yet, so she'd been required to hit up a few spots she'd quickly come to memorize as some of his frequent patrol areas--but she'd located Yetzirah and got his agreement to join her. Part of her hoped another knight at the meeting might be able to help him more with some of their more... specialized information.
She didn't hesitate to head into the warehouse, intrigued by the location if anything. Her gaze flickered over those already gathered, taking stock of faces she did and didn't know. The winged senshi stayed further towards the back, but lifted a hand to wave with a smile to Celadon and Cybele when she spotted them. So many Order gathered in once place shouldn't bother her, but it itched at the back of her mind, and she was relieved by the presence of more Mauvians this time.
Her gaze did snag on another woman who, like her, was lingering towards the back, and she offered a smile and small nod of greeting to the Knight (Bifrost). She wasn't familiar with the symbol she bore, but the glowing marks of transcendence were clear enough along with her rank to denote experience of some kind or another. "Have you seen many of these before? Kinds of gatherings, I mean."
Realta was herself rather delighted that such a message had gone out--hope springs eternal, as the saying goes. Though she knew enough of Order's... less than stellar (ha) history with such attempts to organize... that people were still trying, still putting forth ideas and reaching out, was good in her eyes. The notion that something might change, that a positive outcome could still be produced...
The Savannah padded quietly along with Solaris and the young man she'd picked up on their way there, a Page she'd not met before personally but still welcomed. She was... surprised that the usually more social senshi remained towards the back of the crowd, but didn't voice her questions aloud, instead, delicately hopping up onto some old crates stacked against the wall near where the senshi had taken up a spot. It enabled her to get a good view of the surroundings, though she did look down as Solaris addressed a Knight (Bifrost) and gave a small wave of her paw in turn.
The height also allowed her to see another Mauvian which delighted her, and her tail swayed as she waved towards them (Sacha) and the senshi beside them (Ancha).
He'd been more than a bit surprised to see the senshi again, to be frank. Never mind the fact she intentionally sought him out... and for a meeting, of all things. But she mentioned how he wouldn't receive the notice without a signet ring, and... well. He recalled the last time he'd been among a large group of Order--the fight against the Negaverse with those aliens, people being forcibly corrupted, then up on the Moon and speaking to the Code there...
It was... a lot to process.
But even he needed to admit he'd been hiding quite a bit for quite some time since then. Having powers wasn't all just... enjoying the beautiful costumes and ability to jump up to rooftops, or cuddling snowbunnies. So he'd agreed to meet up to go with her--oh, and a cat, apparently! That could... talk... right he'd seen that before... huh--and as they entered the warehouse, he was sort of torn. Part of him was relieved that there were only so many people, since that in his mind meant less of a chance of trouble, but... there'd been so many more up on the Moon. Solaris had mentioned this was a meeting to try and help bring folks together to discuss how they could better work together, put up more of a united front and such. Made sense to him, though he felt a tiny wedge of concern seeing the spaces unfilled by the bodies in this place. Still, he shrugged and smiled--even if every person here only relayed the information to one other person who didn't attend, the word could spread very quickly! So, an info session or whatever this would be could pan out into something bigger next time! Or something. There were ways to go about it, and he took... a comfort in that, actually.
As it was, staying towards the back and hopping up to sit on a crate on the lower part of the pile the lilac Mauvian had perched upon, he spotted another knight (Erytheia) wearing... oh! Yetzirah perked up, realizing he was looking at another knight of Cosmos. He hadn't had a chance to speak to anyone else wearing the same symbol as him... he straightened where he sat, smiling broadly at the idea that maybe he could fix that..!
And another familiar face! Though she was up front, Yetzirah still waved towards Ekstrom when he spotted her, happy to see the helpful woman was present and fine.

Celadon Squire of Cybele
Ever did it swell her heart to see Cybele in attendance. She returned the wave, feeling a little more emboldened that her princess showed up so soon. Nodding, she replied, "I've heard arguments that we weren't meant to work together; that it wasn't what happened in the past, but I think we can turn that to our advantage." And, like Cybele said, they'd all worked together before. Maybe they just needed the chance to try again.
Another senshi had come (Paeonia), and while Celadon didn't recognize her, she waved nonetheless. She admired the girl's fiery determination — that kind of commitment could be the backbone to their efforts here. "Thank you for coming. I know we've got what it takes to face down the Negaverse and win."
More began to trickle in. Another pair she didn't recognize (Tempesti and Aruna), and they seemed a little on the shy side. Celadon was happy to give them the time and space to warm up to the topic at hand.
Then came another Eternal (Puck), and Celadon waved back.
In truth, she wasn't sure how many people to expect. She had no sense of the breadth and diversity of Order, nor did she know how many were interested in the idea of working together. And to see that knight come along at her invitation — Celadon smiled at the Mercury knight (Ekstrom). Then came another Earth knight (Joy), who likewise seemed a little shy.
When Erytheia showed, she waved to him as well. He mentioned a ring, which Celadon assumed had referred to the one that Hy-Brasil used to send her message for her. She immediately agreed to his invitation to catch up. "Yes, let's. I've got questions about that ring." Specifically, how to get one of her own.
More and more and more came in, which bolstered her with joy and hope that they could really pull something off. It was coming to be quite the collection of senshi and knight, new and seasoned, with all different planets and powers among them. They all showed because they wanted to, because they thought Order could — should — deserved to — make the first move. That, she thought, was far more powerful than compelling people to work together under threat of punishment.
Enough of a crowd brewed that she thought it was time to begin. After a few last waves to the people she knew, Celadon stood and drew in a breath.
Then flushed bright red. There were… A lot of people. And she needed to deliver a speech. Clearing her throat, she forced herself to start, though not without a few stammers.
"First, thank you all for coming. It means so much to see so many of you turn together to work out. I mean, turn out to work together. And so you're all aware, Hy-Brasil helped me find some Mauvians to cover our auras and keep us safe. For my part, I hope to keep any meetings in Destiny City as short as possible
"So I'll get to the point. The Negaverse doesn't consider us much of a threat. They think we're disorganized and that we've survived by chance. But I think they're wrong — I think we can do better than the Negaverse at working together, because we all want the same thing. We don't need a orders or commanding officers to do what we think is right.
"This is why I called you here — why I need you, and why we need each other. And I admit, I'm still pretty new to this, so this will be more like a groupthink than me giving anything close to orders. We have a lot of experienced people in our midst, and most of my teamwork skills have come from, like, food service." Which was a little embarrassing to admit, but she tried to push down that reactionary shame. Instead, she summoned her javelin to hand and held it out as if offering it to the crowd.
"I know that we'll need to decide how we want to fight back, and organize people into groups based on what they believe is their best chance at sticking it to the Negaverse. Maybe that's fighting agents in the field, maybe it's convincing them to purify, maybe it's something else. We're going to need people who are willing to coordinate groups. We'll probably need people who will train others how to fight, too. I'm sure I'm missing other opportunities — anyone who has a suggestion to make, take my javelin and raise it up high so we can all hear you speak.
"And please understand — no one has to participate. If there's ideological disagreements, please set them aside in the interest of expedience. We owe it to ourselves to be decisive."
Quote:
TL;DR THAT FONT IS TOO LIGHT: Celadon is suggesting people organize based on how they want to fight the Negaverse. For example, that could mean a team that arms civilians for self-defense, a team that convinces people to purify, a team that sets up ambushes, etc. For the basis of this plot, I will need a combat team at minimum.
Anyone who has something to say to the group must take Celadon's javelin and hold it up so people can see someone is talking.
THINGS THAT NEED TO BE SUGGESTED:
A safer location for big meetings (e.g. Wonders/Worlds, Olympus, the Moon) Some form of communication to make coordination easier (e.g. a powered messaging app) Some way to take notes about the Negaverse (e.g. the Order Database) Indirect methods of supporting each other (e.g. moving clinics for medical care, safe places to stay, meeting spots for patrols, etc)
ROLES THAT NEED TO BE SUGGESTED:
Participants: Warm bodies, please Spies: People who can get info out of the Negaverse Ferriers: People who can take groups up to their planets/Wonders Strategists: People who can come up with counterstrike tactics Coordinators: People who can take the lead in their groups (OOCly I will be supporting them) Trainers: People who can teach hand-to-hand combat or deescalation techniques
If you have any questions or suggestions, please reach out to me here or via Discord (strickenized)! If you have not yet joined the temporary Discord server for this plot, please do so by clicking here! Also, anyone Order-affiliated is free to join this ORP until its formal close!
The next post will occur on Tuesday, February 18th in the ~evening EST!

Tempesti turned her head from her companions at the sound of Celadon’s voice. She had been wondering exactly how she could fit into a scenario like this and she felt more than a little bit out of her depth. Either one of her sisters would be more qualified for this. Laurel was the organizer, at least when it came to people. She knew how to play to people’s strengths, and how to find them. Willow was far better with computers than she was, so she couldn’t offer much on that front either. In terms of combat she could take a hit, but until she stabilized her magic the hits were almost as likely to come from her own powers.
Tempesti mulled over her options, limited though they were. She doubted that violin concertos and tea blends would do anyone a lot of good in their situation. The poor communication Aruna had described during the previous fight seemed like a major cause for concern. Going in on such limited information could have proven deadly for any number of them and she suspected that whatever luck got everyone out alive wouldn’t hold up forever.
With a sharp inhale and a glance back at Aruna Tempesti strode forward, hoping the shaking of her legs wasn’t as noticeable as she feared it was. She could see but could do nothing to stop the violent trembling of her hand as she reached for Celadon’s javelin. The knight had told everyone to grab it if they wanted to speak, but it was still nerve-wracking to grasp it and there was always that voice in her head wondering if she’d misheard and was about to commit a horrifying faux pas.
She held the javelin over her head and with another deep and hopefully steadying inhale she began to speak. “H-Hello, my name is Sailor Tempesti. I am newly awakened and I haven’t met most of you, but from what I’ve learned our lines of communication are dangerously disorganized and many on our sides bear scars that might have been prevented with access to better information. I am not experienced in any of this, but I am willing to do whatever possible to help bring about whatever changes we can. To that end, I believe that we need more effective means of gathering information and more efficient ways of disseminating it.”
Tempesti glanced around the room anxiously, hoping she wasn’t making a complete a** of herself. “I am not the best resource for combat as of now, but I would like to volunteer to gather what information I can, and to do whatever possible to support the development of an improved system of communication for us and our allies. Er. Thank you.” She handed the javelin back to Celadon and scurried nervously toward Aruna and their new acquaintance.
Puck listened to Tempesti and nodded. "Well said, luv," he smiled at the newly-minted Senshi as he strode past her, heading up to Celadon's position. Reaching out, he accepted the javelin from her and turned to face the crowd, holding the weapon above his head as Tempesti had done.
"Right, so. I'm Puck of the Woods, an' I been around a bit, he grinned at everyone. "This idea is something I've been ponderin' meself for quite a while -- just never got off me arse to do anything with it. So thank you, Celadon, for gettin' things rolling here."
His expression turned serious. "NOW. I ain't a strategist or an acquirer of information or any o' that shite. I'm a fighter. I punch things, kick things, beat the enemy into a pulp. I've taken on General-King Faustite on several occasions an' lived to tell about it. So if any of you want to learn out t' fight, I'm your man. I learned capoiera years ago from Sailor Juno, an' I've incorporated that with good old British street brawlin' an' fisticuffs. If that tickles yer fancy, talk to me, I'll organise lessons."
Puck started to turn and lower the arm holding the javelin, but paused. "Oh right, one more thing. I'm also willin' to organise teams or squads or whatever to go out on coordinated hunting expeditions, to take out targeted, uh.... targets. That's all I got." The Eternal turned back to Celadon with a grin that was wicked and toothy as he returned the javelin. "Here you go, luv. Just let me know what you need an' I'll do me best t' provide."
With a nod of respect toward both Celadon and Cybele, Puck returned to the crowd.
As more people filtered in, Paeonia listened carefully to the discussion forming. Celadon’s plan wasn’t just about gathering allies—it was about organizing them into something truly effective. Teams with specific missions. Strategies. A way to fight smarter, not just harder.
She folded her hands behind her back, thoughtful. There were a lot of moving pieces here. Did she see herself as a strategist? Not really. A spy? Definitely not. But the idea of indirect support intrigued her. Maybe something like safe havens, or even a place to help those who wanted out of the war find refuge.
For now, though, she remained quiet, absorbing the conversation.

Urania
Urania settled in next to the only other obviously alien senshi she could find. She needed to meet more senshi like herself. Gluing herself to Erytheia’s side, though familar, would not get her anywhere in that regard.
“Hi. I’m Sailor Urania. I haven’t been to a meeting like this before. I didn’t know we had gatherings of senshi and knights in this day and age.”
The semi’s skin was surprisingly shiny up close. She had seen her wings but hadn’t noticed her subtle glow until she got closer.
“What is your name?”
Urania’s eyes sparkled as Celadon began to speak and someone offered to train. She’d love to practice her eternal attack more…
Then she thought of something.
“Oh. I have an i —-” She sudden stopped. In her excitement she hadn’t grabbed the spear from the first speaker. She gently took the weapon. It pretty up close.
“Sorry. I got excited. I was thinking… we may need some space to meet up and do so in safety from any Negaverse that may come for us. You know, somewhere not on Earth. We might now be able to get enough Mauvians like we did tonight.”
She looked at Erytheia who, as usual, hadn’t spoken up yet.
“I can offer my homeworld, Urania. I have an observatory that has rooms that can be used for meetings. Erytheia has a wonder, too, that can be used.”
Before he could add anything else, the meeting began. And there was a lot to digest. Including things he didn't know about. Like whatever this Negaverse was. But what was said about organizing made sense. The offer of combat training sounded fantastic, as did gathering in a more secure location, and gathering information. Collating that information would be good, too. Just about the only thing that wasn't being said was "controlling collateral damage." And it could be that everyone else was used to thinking of their side in things as the "good guys," but that didn't mean the rest of the citizenry of Destiny City saw the senshi and whoever these other people were as the "good guys." And it would take an awful lot of persuading. Or possibly devoting energy to proving themselves trustworthy to the population.
It felt like something that might need to be said.
Taking a deep breath, Aberdonia began to make his way toward the javelin.
"Hi, my name is Sailor Aberdonia, and, like Tempesti, I'm also new to all of this. I'm so new to this, that I'd like to take Puck up on his offer of training later. I'm so new, I believed that the people in this room were terrorists until I first Powered up a month ago," he added, half-joking, before sobering up.
"And that's something that concerns me. I'm new to this, and my powers are pretty defensively oriented. I can't throw fireballs or whatever, but I can shield myself, or other people. There's probably other people like me, too, who are better at defensive or support roles. But there's probably a lot of people in Destiny City who still think of everyone in this room as the bad guys in all of this. Which I think is something we can fix. I don't think it'll be easy, but I would like to suggest we organize a group that would be more interested in supportive roles aimed at cutting down on collateral damage and protecting civilians. Because that's why I Powered up in the first place. I want to protect those who I can use my powers to protect. And I'd wager I'm not alone. If we can either have a dedicated group that goes out during the big fights and protects and evacuates anybody in need of it, or gets those in need of medical treatment to those who can provide it, or maybe even have one or two support people who travel with the bigger groups whose focus is more defensive or supportive, I think that could be helpful, too."
He paused, unsure what to say for the moment, before passing the javelin back to Celadon, saying, "Thank you for your time and attention."
He found a place with Aruna and Tempesti after returning the javelin. Maybe other people would find it something worth considering. Maybe not. But he'd felt it needed to be said, that this wasn't just a fight where only combatants would get hurt, but also something that could impact the unPowered, too; the last thing he wanted for his family to get hurt as a result of what was to come.
Aruna wasn't even surprised that the one who spoke to them was seemingly a child. Teenager? Younger than her and Tempesti, at the least. She hated that someone so young was wrapped up in this cosmic s**t show, but now was neither the time nor place to speak on that.
Opening her mouth to speak, she promptly shut it again as Celadon spoke, listening intently. When Tempesti stepped forward though, Aruna's eyes widened. Her friend seemed just as reluctant when it came to public speaking as she was, so it was a shock that she did so. When she finished her piece, Aruna eyed Tempesti, mostly in surprise, then listened as others spoke as well. When Aberdonia came back to stand beside her and Tempesti, she felt her resolve strengthen a bit more and stepped forward herself, gingerly taking the javelin before speaking.
"I am Aruna, and I've been at this for around a year. Recently I got to see first hand just how poor our coordination and communication is as a faction, and just how dangerous that can be for all of us as a result." She took a deep breath and pushed the memories of the utter s**t show out of her mind for now before continuing. "In addition to communication, I think it would be wise of us to compile somewhat of a database. Both on our own faction as well as Chaos. It would be useful to know who all we have as allies to ask for help from, and to compile whatever we can on our enemies as well as to know who the bigger threats are outside of the obvious ones." Her legs were shaking as she spoke, though she hoped no one would really notice. "I also think it would be prudent to have perhaps a code system in place. So that if an sos goes out next time, we know just how dangerous it could be before showing up and getting blindsided by the presence of a very very angry General King over something that our faction did that definitely provoked him." She was still sore about that, though she tried to not let it show too badly in her tone. "I...suppose what I am trying to say is that poor communication could have recently cost people their lives, and I never want to see that happen again. I would be....happy to work on compiling at least the information for a database of powered folk on both sides, though I don't have the technological knowhow to make it into a legitimate database for everyone to access easily. And I would also be happy to work with others on some sort of code system so that any widespread sos or general messages have us prepared for the level of danger when responding."
Quickly handing the javelin back, Aruna quickly made her way back beside Tempesti and Aberdonia, slightly trembling. She hoped she had sounded coherent enough, and that her anxiety didn't make her seem too rambly.
Caliban could see that the Squire meant well, but to him this just eemed to be another meeting that they would have that would peter off into nothing eventually, but it didn't hurt to try.
He agreed that they needed to use their phones and rings more often, along with the database. But more importantly having a place that they could all meet and mingle and leave when they wanted to would be best.
His planet wouldn't be able to host anyone, not yet, unless they all pitched in to do some construction. Others might be able to, but somewhere on Earth would be better in his opinion. Either some place that the Negaverse couldn't easily reach or where Guardians would be hanging out to dampen auras.
Others spoke out loud what he was thinking, and so he kept his thoughts to himself for now. Still, he needed to offer up something. "Caliban. Been here for a while, not as long as some others, but I still have some experience. Willing to participate and coordinate at least. I can't offer my Homeworld as it's still... quite destroyed." He would have to visit again. The danger there was no more, but he still hadn't been able to get as often as he should have been.
Voyager, Squire of Pluto Well, everyone here seemed to be in agreement at least, so there wasn't much that Voyager could add himself. But he could always be of help to others. "Voyager, Squire of Pluto, still somewhat new to all of this. I would like to say that I'm willing to offer my Wonder as a place for meetings," there were plenty of rooms that could be used as such, "and to help ferry people."
"I can teach people about killing." Amidst the helpful offers and thoughtful concerns, Grieve's offer was dropped like a rock, bluntly and without further explanation. They could overthink the offer and what it meant on their own ******** dime.
Squatting at the top of an empty cabinet like a dayglo gargoyle, Grieve's uniform was more tattered than when she'd last been seen. The ******** fireparty had put a sense of urgency in regaining her former strength. It was time to stop treating Earth as a soft vacation from the real fights.
Casting her eyes around the warehouse, she took in those gathered. As always, there were familiar faces, new faces, and the new faces that were still familiar after a thousand years of swirling down Cosmos' shitcan of a cauldron. Among the senshi, knights and mau, Grieve spotted a civilian. Good. With a vague sort of nostalgia, she thought it'd be good to reform The Nameless. To work once again within its shifting purpose and leadership, to look to her right and to her left and know it was someone she could rely on and respect. Not because they were "order" or because they were a senshi of this world, a knight of that one. But because they made the choice of loyalty to one another.
This group wouldn't quite have that. But they could make the choice and put in the work to be more than they were alone.
Cybele's eyes scanned the crowd, where she saw some familiar faces, as well as new ones. That wasn't a surprise in a gathering like this, with the way that people were awakening all the time. What was different about this gathering was the number of knights that came to stand around her, wearing her own colors.
Most of them she'd met before, at least in passing. It didn't make it less surreal. This was like the first few times that she'd shifted into her Princess outfit. She couldn't quite believe it.
She made a point of nodding to each of them, all the same. Celadon was taking the leadership role here, and Cybele made sure to listen respectfully as she opened the floor. Ariccia, the newest of the pages, moved from arriving trailing her husband to coming to lean against Cybele, like the smaller Eternal wings on her outfit would hide her. She put a protective hand on the girl's shoulder. Hierapolis looked nearly as nervous, although he stood tall. "It's good to see you," she whispered to him. There was one in a simpler tunic that she didn't recognize. Maybe they could talk a bit more, given the nature of this meeting. "Hello," she murmured, raising her free hand.
She listened as those around her spoke. Most of these were people that she wasn't familiar with, people who claimed to be new of unfamiliar to the war. Still, their ideas were sound. She had no points to argue with what they were saying about communication.
She did, however, have a few things of her own to offer, and she reached for the javelin as it came around.
"Good evening," she said, standing as tall as she could. "I am Cybele." She paused, then added, "Princess Cybele." If they were wanting open communication, she supposed that it was best that her power was on the table. "I would encourage us not to think of Order's past as a string of failures in any way. The war has claimed too much, but all the same, we've surived. The city still stands. While we look for ways to improve, I encourage us not to lose sight of that. She knew all too well that such things were easier in theory than in reality, but she also knew that morale and attitude made such a difference in things like this. "I've led missions against the Negaverse before. I'll do it again, if we can find any weak points to exploit. I'm probably due to run another training, too. I see some new faces, and I'd love to see what you can do in person." Her smile was steady, her voice practiced. "But probably more important than any of that, while we're in the phase of planning things, I can get large groups of people up to my asteroid fairly easily, as often as I need to. It's a forest, and rugged, but," she shrugged. "It's safe.
Nectaris grinned as people she knew arrived. Pendour stepped closer to the family, but Nikki just gave her parents and brother a quick wave before she skipped closer to Emain Ablach.
"Hey, what's up?" she asked him. "Are you not with the squad?" A swish of blue fabric in the distance caught her attention for a second. "Wait. Never mind. I think I saw part of the squad."
Imhotep was the most elusive part of the squad of all, so she felt pretty accomplished.
"One second. I gotta be serious real quick," she said, and then stepped over to grab the javelin from a certain green-haired Eternal, who shot a glare in her direction as she skipped back to her spot.
"Is anyone, like, taking notes?" she asked. "Like, I can do it, but if we're trying to be organized or whatever, that's like, rule number one. The most basic of basic." She summoned her pad of enchanted paper and her sparkly golden pen that she'd gotten from Almadel, and then she flipped it open one-handed, trying to be as dramatic as possible. "There's people here with a lot of good ideas. There's people who wanna work on stuff. There's people who have been working on stuff for years. Like, I moved into a safehouse when I purified. That wasn't easy to set up. But whatever plans or teams or information or whatever we come up with, and whatever stuff's already happening, it's gotta be organized and in writing and accessible, or people are gonna forget about, like, all of this by the morning."
She waved at Aruna, the one talking about a database. "We have a database with information about the Negaverse and stuff, but I'm not surprised you don't really know about it. It's kinda buried in the phone. Maybe we can, like, advertise it or something? Also, like, expand it a lot. Get a place for, like, Order teams and plans and information. And people. You're right. It's good to know what we can do."
As people gathered, Halle patrolled outside of the building, drawing close to the door only after Celadon began speaking. With the Mauvians helping, he was less worried about a bunch of agents showing up again than he was about senshi coming and then going to inform a bunch of agents to show up. It was a bitter sort of wariness.
Leaning against the roll-up door, he listened to people express their worries, goals, and willingness to help and the bitterness grew alongside the sense of hope it all gave him. A year ago this was everything he wanted, not just organizing but the offer of knowledge and resources. A collective effort that wouldn't put him and his brother under the wing and whims of a strange adult.
It was a good thing it was happening, even if he'd had to reach this point without any but the most basic introduction from a passing knight. At least he was at a point he could help. "It sounds like, instead of a specific goal. Right now we're trying to build a foundation and some safety nets?"
Because it'd be good to have safer meeting points. And a better way to protect civilians and one another. It's be great to have some actual fight training where he didn't have to pretend he was a regular civilian without any extra ability. He didn't know about convincing people to purify, but thinking of Lysithea...it'd be good if more people were trying. Things like spying weren't really his wheelhouse, but he could help organize and interpret data.
Thinking of what he would actually be good at, Halle eventually offered, "I'm good at information and coordination, and I'd like to help wherever needed in that capacity. Also, if people are willing, I'd like to organize a team fighting workshop of some kind. There are a lot of different types of magics that can work well together and have good synergy, and others that can undermine each other's effectiveness. Honestly just knowing one another's abilities can make a big difference in a fight but..." he sighed a looked over at Solaris with a wry smile, "...figuring those things out seems to only happen in the middle of actual battles. I think we can do a lot better, with only a minor time investment."
