"It was called the Red Vryhx, a giant beast that looked much like a large winged lizard. Only this lizard could breath fire and tear a person to shreds without even thinking about it." Beowulf said as he adjusted his glasses ever so slightly.
"It was not a happy beastie with us invading the volcano to see what was going on. To investigate on why it was expelling smoke and ash from its top." He did have drawings of both the Red Vryhx and the volcano as it seemed to be ready to blow its top.
"I am not sure if I want to run into the creature again, but in a way I do. I want to learn more about it besides what other people have observed and written down..." He paused looking down at the child, hoping that he wasn't scaring them with the talk of something that was as much a dragon as anything else.
Progressing towards the shallow pools, Beowulf stopped and looked at the shells. Some did have the luminous glow to them as the light hit them. Stopping beside one of the pools, he crouched down and dropped another glowing stone, the first lost its glow as he recast the spell. This one lit up the pool, some fish scattering as the stone sank, but most returned to swim around the glowing stones in a curious manner. The light beneath the water reflected upon the closest walls to the pool, making them look like they too were beneath the small currents.
"Small little worlds." Beowulf commented as he watched before moving towards another of the small pools.
