Well, that was rather obvious to Bruno. He tried not to chuckle, because it felt mean. "Honestly? I would recommend asking. It can't really hurt, and it sounds like they haven't given any reason to be afraid of rejection if you just ask outright."

She stood up, excited and determined.

“Let’s go put our own wishes on the tree really quick. Then I can go ask him. Thanks so much for your help.”

She held the wish in her hands and looked at it again, now knowing what to do.

Bruno stood as well, she seemed so much happier now and for that he was glad. "Of course! We don't want bad luck!"

Oh damn, Bruno forgot to write a wish. Quickly, he took a bit of paper he had from his pocket, hastily writing his wish down, then continued on with Ptolemy back to the trees. He kind of hoped now his wish wasn't stupid.

Ptolemy placed her wish on the tree and looked at it for about a minute in silence. Then she looked up at the sky.

“Thanks again! I think I need to head out now. I’ve got something to do.”

It was decided. She was going to tell Yuri everything.
