The rain began to drip into her eyes as she wiped them away. Everything seemed to happen quickly, and Mira had no idea what was going on.
That was when the Chaos hit her, and though she could see bits of Alastor's world. The wind blew voices in her direction. Voices she knew well, were her mom and her dad. She could never forget those voices if she tried.
What is going on, she thought to herself as she looked around trying to chase the voices. "Mom...dad...where are you? Please show yourselves so I can get you out of here!" she yelled trying to find the bodies that belonged to the voices.
Why were her parents here, this world wasn't safe for them at all! She continued to search until she heard her mom's voice suddenly say words she couldn't believe.
She can't do it? what were they talking about? She froze in fear listening to her mother's voice.
Then she heard her father and that felt like a dagger to the heart. The amazing pastery chief was here saying she wasn't good enough. She had given everything up for that bakery it was her life. She hardly even had time for her friends with how much she worked there.
"How can you guys say that?! I literally live there! That bakery is my life," she said with tears beginning to stream down her face. Those words were the words of her nightmares and here were the only people who could make those nightmares a reality.

Did he really think I had abandoned him? Erytheia didn’t know what to do but hold on tighter.
“I know you want to go home. I do, too. But I made a promise to protect this world.”
He couldn’t just leave. But it was a lot to ask Tama. Yet, he had to. And he knew Tama must agreed with him.
“Can you help me get rid of this Chaos so it doesn’t hurt you or anyone else again?”
Her parents both startled; they turned to face her, visibly surprised. They exchanged a look, but it seemed like a sad acceptance had fallen over them.
“Is it?” her mother asked, and though there was something tender in it, there was something barbed, too. “Can you honestly say it’s your life?”
Her father, bitter, shook his head. “It’s not your whole life. It’s not the most important thing in it. And what is this?”
He gestured to her uniform. “This is what you’re choosing instead of it. Running into danger, disappearing, getting yourself hurt. How can I trust you with the bakery when you’re never here? When was the last time you put it before all this dress up?”

Tama wilted in his arms but he drew in a shaky breath. “...I don’t know. I’m exhausted. I can do what I can, but…”
He looked so tired.
“I’ll do my best. But I don’t want to die here. I don’t want you to die here. Can you feel it? …So many starseeds are just…flickering. And the Chaos just isn’t ending. It feels hopeless. When–when do we draw the line?” he asked, and looked up at Erytheia with hurt, desperate eyes.
“When do we decide we tried hard enough and save ourselves? Because I don’t want anyone else to die here. Not when there’s still so much we have to do on Earth.”

Her first reaction was to lash out, to plead forgiveness. To simply let Kishe do whatever she wished to do to her. Kill her, maim her, torture her. It was the bare minimum that Sonya required, that she deserved for what she'd done. However...
Kishe was dead.
Terebellum knew this to be a certain fact because she'd buried her herself. Held her broken body and laid her to rest in their favorite spot, encased in unbreakable crystal. Her starseed, returned to the Cauldron personally.
The pause, the realization that brought to her, was enough time to see the cracks, the blank staring as if the creature before her was trying to figure out what emotion to use. What response to give. To notice the missing wedding mark just below her collarbone.
She stepped forward and grabbed the fake Kishe's wrist, feeling nothing from her with a ping of Resonance. Nothing but the creature's Resonant point.
"You are clever, very clever. Using her, the betrayal that hurt me the most, to try to get to me. You are very good," she said, a quiet lethality in her voice, "Yet, not good enough. Resonance Amplification!"
Magic, still pooled in her hands since the shadows had over taken the wall, surged out of her hands to slam into the creature posing as Kishe with intent to amply it strong enough to shatter it.
The Space Cauldron
Sailor Scout Attack: Resonance Amplification!
Description: Terebellum calls the name of her attack and touches an object. Effect: In up to a 5ft radius from where she touched the object, it shudders and seems to shift and vibrate as power and energy resonates through them. This only affects inanimate objects or terrain (such as the ground or walls). Effects can alter between violent shaking and trembling when the energy does not resonate well within the target, and the target may have a suction effect when the energy resonates well. This suction effect can attract living creatures, people, and objects the size or smaller than a human. She cannot control the effect and it may manifest randomly in battle. At player choice and RP direction, small objects may crack or explode. Duration: 30 seconds; small objects can explode at any point in time during this use if plotted with RP partner Range: Terebellum must touch the object to use her magic. Uses: 3

Kishe’s form recoiled backwards, and for a moment she only rippled, like a reflection disrupted in a once-still pool. But the resonance grew stronger, more violent, and then–
Kishe screamed, the most horrifying, broken, inhuman scream imaginable. She sounded like every agony a person could suffer had all been rolled into one single second.
And, she couldn’t handle it. She exploded in a gust of black ink, warm and foul smelling.
Despair filled the air, but the shadows around Terebellum shied away, like it lost the strength to maintain the illusion completely. Briefly, she felt the swirling wind and cold raindrops from the storm raging outside. She could see the storming skies above her, and the rocky debris carried on the storm's current. Lightning struck nearby, close enough that the electricity was nauseating.
The shadows seemed to be trying to recuperate, and while some were working themselves back into some form, most of them seemed to be struggling. But, there were shadows here, everywhere. Its spread was immense.
Kishe might have been gone, but it wasn’t done fighting yet. Small tendrils stretched out again, trying to scratch or hit or hurt Terebellum in any way possible.
Kishe’s screams echoed on the winds as they whipped around her.
Listening to their words, she realized these were not her parents. Her parents would never say this - well at least not her father maybe her mother maybe. She slowly wiped the tears from her face. She knew that the words that were spoken killed her inside since she always wanted to please her parents. After all, she loved them so much...
That was when she remembered how proud her dad had been that she knew every guest that walked through those bakery doors. He was thrilled when they were able to catch up about the old couple at table 3 or the newlyweds they had made the massive wedding cake for. Even though she had literally drained herself to make sure every customer was taken care of.
She had shown herself and remembered his words - make sure you make time for other things other than the bakery. He would probably honestly be laughing right now at her in what he would think would be a cosplay. That was just who he was, never serious even in a baking competition where he should have been.
Walking up to her father or whoever this was, she said, "I'm sorry that you feel that way - but you - you aren't my father." she stared him dead in the face. "To think you would use my parents of all things against me and the fact I fell for it. Shows I need more training," she said with a smirk, "but let me show you just what happens when you mess with me!"
She quietly whispered under her breath, "Sweet Tooth kiss!"
Mira swirls her hands above her head two times, poses cutely, raises her left hand to her mouth, and blows a sugar-sweet kiss. One she hoped would cause them the same pain she felt in her heart right now.
Kyuseisha no Hikari
Her attack:
As in her last attack Sailor Mira swirls her hands above her head two times and then aims towards her opponent. Sailor Mira will pose cutely and instead of winking. She raises her left hand to her mouth and blows a kiss. Doing this will send a lip shaped wind of sugar towards her opponent. This sugar will be a double the amount of sugar of the last, basically an upgrade to her last attack. If this attack hits, the person it is aimed at will receive sweet sensations flowing randomly throughout there mouth and will receive a full mouth tooth-ache! This attack will only last for a maximum of 15 seconds. This attack can be done three times per battle. Distance travel possible is 12 ft.

The air was thick with humidity, and electricity, and chaos. But, for a brief moment, there was something more.
Order. Magic. Something powerful. Something familiar, something good. A light in the darkness, Ganymede’s Purification magic surged from the Core of his world and the shadows, all connected, carried the blast throughout the Hall.
The shadowy illusions hummed, and for a split second, light shined through. It flickered along the illusion, like fire burning a thread. For a split second, there was a clarity that hadn’t been there before, an understanding–
There was a reason they were here.
They were supposed to do something. Defend–something...
But the illusion was quick to restore, but it wasn’t quite perfect. The barriers between them thinned and it was almost possible to see the others on the wall. And, maybe there was something just a little off about their would-be companion–like looking in a mirror, or like they had a filter over them.
For a brief second, they looked almost transparent, but they corrected quickly. Lightning struck above with blinding force, as if to distract them from any distortion.
But, it was too late; the illusion concealing the sky faded and they could see the dark storm clouds. A shower of wet rain poured in, refreshing and clarifying. The wind whipped around them with so much force that it nearly knocked them to the ground.
The illusion regenerated above them quickly.
Just, maybe not quick enough to avoid detection.
Terebellum already had to deal with Kishe’s disappearing form, but she had a break in the illusion around her. She could clearly see that the storm was raging around them. She could make out a shadowy globe around the grove, she could see giant, shadowy hands from the river, she could feel a disgusting haze of chaos radiating from the underground storage chamber–and in all of it, she seemed so alone.
And then–Sailor Mira was visible next to her.
But, the chaos seemed to have crept everywhere–and it was doing everything in its power to smother them all and drown them in darkness. A shadow wrapped around her ankle, and the dark tendril yanked her, as if trying to throw her over the side of the wall.
Erytheia felt the rain on his face briefly, but Tama felt suddenly extremely light, and then rapidly very heavy, like a cannonball had been dropped in the Knight’s lap. He looked like a piece of charred wood–like violently bursting shadows–before he regained form. And, when he did, he tried to tuck himself closer as if he could just pull on Erytheia’s heart strings with how pathetic and wounded he was. Red blood spilled from his side.
Just in case Erytheia needed more motivation to treat him gently.
Mira’s parents were already distorted, even before her magic hit them; their faces turned dark and hollow and their bodies elongated. Fingers got too long, their arms sank to the ground, and–
Her magic hit them. They screamed, a cacophony that sounded more like a flock of angry birds than it did any human sound. The illusion around her warped; suddenly she could clearly see that the storm was raging around them. She could make out a shadowy globe around the grove, she could see giant, shadowy hands from the river, she could feel a disgusting haze of chaos radiating from the underground storage chamber–and in all of it, she seemed so alone.
Terebellum was visible next to her, but the shadows were stretching towards her as if they meant to hurt her, badly. Mira was not spared their wrath either; the shadows whipped around her ankles and tried to yank her down, too.

Characters can use this opportunity to have a clarifying moment that allows them to break through the spell of Chaos! If you are playing your own chaos manifestation, it may turn into a mirrored reflection of itself, or may shift forms in front of you; if you have any questions or want to see if something works, please let me know! If you want to continue speaking to your Chaos character or engage it in more than one post, please let me know when you quote me and I will try to tag back as soon as possible instead of waiting for the next prompt! If your character has already broken out, they might be able to help others in their group but please make sure this works for them before posting! If your chaos manifestation is not destroyed by the post on the 16th (sometime after 8PM EST) the Chaos will be forcibly destroyed around you but you will have a prompt to load the giant crossbow and destroy a large piece of debris in the sky that is dangerously near to smashing into the Grove; if you break through the illusion, you can start loading the weapon or defending against shadows trying to slip past you into the Hall or you can try to reunite with the others!

‘When do we decide we tried hard enough and save ourselves?’
The words hurt. Erytheia wanted nothing more than to hold the cat closer. Couldn’t he… Couldn’t they… He and Tama. Why should they be here and not home? Why couldn’t they just be happy?
“Would you really just leave, just us? Together. No thoughts for the Chaos on this world?”
His voice was sad and he felt the weight of the cat shift, Tama suddenly much heavier.
“But that wouldn’t be you — wouldn’t be us — would it?”
Tama could be selfish and vain, petulant and moody. But he would never turn his back on his duty as a Mauvian. He’d have never left a world, even a world he didn’t know, to Chaos.
And Chaos was all it was, in the end.
“I’m sorry. I don’t know who you are.” He said as he put the cat down, feeling his feline body try desperately to stay. “But you’re not Tama.”
And he turned away as he felt the surge of Order, a single tear rolling down his cheek.
Something pure, something powerful surged through the area again.
At first, it was a wild blast of magic, strong and destructive.
The chaos in the air drew back significantly, like it was recoiling in pain. Stretched thin from the blast of Phantasia’s Court Magic at the West Gate, and battered already by Mira, Erytheia, and Terebellum, its hold at the South Wall was weakening. The illusions faltered; the walls between everyone came down.
The chaos manifestations evaporated.
But it wasn’t just that the Chaos was losing its foothold, it was that they were getting a second wind. A Royal Senshi’s signature flared, and then Ida’s Royal Magic spread in all directions and gave every Order ally a boost of strength. They weren’t completely revitalized, but it helped restore some of the energy they’d lost.
It helped focus them.
As the Chaos manifestations lost form, it became crystal clear–they still had something they needed to do.
With the shadowy walls down, they could all see each other again. A little worse for wear, but alive. Thin tendrils of shadowy darkness clung to the walls but it looked like it was torn between trying to slide past them or retreating.
The wind roared around them, and the clouds were darker than ever. The world around them was dim, and all of their lighting seemed to have lost much of its potency. The flames were nearly burned out, and the lights were flickering badly. The rain was coming down in sheets, as if there was still hope to wash Alastor’s allies away.
Terebellum and Mira had destroyed their manifestations, and the chaos weakly tried to latch onto them to pull them over. It didn’t have much fight left in it, but if it could do anything, it was going to try and take them down with it.
Erytheia was spared the sigh of Tama erupting into a plume of shadowy smoke, but he could hear the agonizing screech of the mimic as it faded into nothingness. The shadows clung to his heels, as if to try and force him to turn around–or pull him over the side of the wall, if they could.
Quote:
The chaos manifestations have been destroyed, but there is heavy residual chaos in the area, and thin tendrils of shadowy chaos are trying to throw everyone over the wall in a last ditch effort to dispatch them. A Court Attack has been unleashed on the battlefield and done heavy damage to a wave of shadows trying to breach the wall, and Ida’s Royal magic has given everyone an energy boost; due to the fluctuations of magic in the air, it can physically restore a character or restore some previously used magic. The closing prompt will be some time after 8PM EST on the 18th and will lead to an optional closing ORP!
Mira was so happy to see her manifestations were gone. Though she still had so many things to talk to her parents about when she got home. For now, it was in the past. All but those screams.
She could still hear the screams from when her magic hit her fake parents. That non-human sound was like out of a horror flick. She still felt her ankles in pain and rubbed them quickly. The way those shadows whipped around her ankles and tried to yank her down too. It dazed her slightly but she was ready to battle again.
Just as she was trying to get her footing back she felt the chaos trying to latch onto her. This time more weakly than the first attack. She knew they were winning, and she was determined to continue fighting until that chaos was gone.
The fire grew in her eyes as she shook the chaos from her and quickly kicked them with all her might. "You will lose today's battle chaos because I won't allow you to win," she said ready to attack if that chaos was strong enough to continue. Since after what they put her through she refused to let them win no matter what.

Mira put up a particularly valiant fight, and she and the others were able to defend against the chaos that tried to pull them down. The shadowy tendrils repeated back down the wall, like water spilling down the side.
For a split second, the chaos surged again. It was overwhelming and felt like it might get a greater grip and recuperate, but whatever footing it almost had was lost. A shockwave rippled from multiple locations, simultaneously. Within seconds, or a moment at most, the chaos anomalies were destroyed. The heart of the chaos was destroyed.
The natural threats seemed to lessen, too. The winds carrying rocky debris in the clouds seemed to slow; though the debris hovered in the air, they were no longer projectiles. The gusts closer to the ground no longer stung. Thunder dulled and then diminished, and the lightning stopped almost immediately.
The rain fell harder, but only briefly. It was long enough to put out the fires sparked during the storm. The river was surging, but the current seemed more controlled, and already the water level was lowering.
And then, the rain turned to a trickle and then faded altogether. The monstrous clouds thinned, and then pockets of them began to clear, and then they faded, too. Alastor’s world had been covered in dark skies for centuries--and now, the sunrise. The sky was already lighting up with pinks and oranges, not unlike Earth, but the colors were so vibrant and pure.
There were no shadows to block it. Alastor was a fresh, renewed world, thanks to them.
The great oak in the courtyard by the Hall had nearly a thousand years to grow to its immense size, and its roots had buried themselves deep into the ground. They cradled the Core of the world, and it was the greatest beacon of their success.
The liquid gold light of the Core stretched up through the oak tree and gave it a magical glow and–more than that, little golden lights bobbed through the air around the Hall like fireflies. They ranged in size from marbles to golf balls, and coming into contact with them felt like passing through soothing, warm pockets of air. There were thousands, easily–like the world was celebrating their victory with them.
It was peaceful now, and the oppressive, hateful chaos that had been smothering them before was gone. Now, the only thing left to do was take a moment to catch their breath, and then meet up back at the Hall.
Quote:
This is the last prompt based post for the roleplay! If you would like to continue writing you can, but this can also count for the close. All characters should head back to the Hall; the following roleplay is completely optional and players don’t have to post but their characters can be handwaved as attending. If your character would rather teleport home or otherwise leave Alastor without attending, please let me know! Thank you!

When Erytheia had felt the lickings of Chaos at his heels, it took everything he had not to look back.
“Tama…”
He headed to the Hall, wondering what was real and what wasn’t. There was still the pinpricks of claws in his white uniform. But there was no cat left to have made them.
