I think it depends entirely upon the voice actors cast for the roles. It can be hit or miss in any language depending on who's hired to be a certain character. Subbed is nice but I feel like I'm so busy reading that I'll miss little things in a scene that might make the experience more interesting.

Xenoblade Chronicles I think it depends entirely upon the voice actors cast for the roles. It can be hit or miss in any language depending on who's hired to be a certain character. Subbed is nice but I feel like I'm so busy reading that I'll miss little things in a scene that might make the experience more interesting. I am soo used to subs that I learn to read subtitles quick and not miss the scene but I got to say I do pause when I am puzzled if they did translate correctly lol

The few subs I watched were on my old laptop & that wasn't a pleasant experience. Now it boils down to not wanting to sit their & listen to a bunch of damn jap voices while trying to read what they say at the bottom of the screen.

If I'm busy with projects, dubbed. If I'm watching, whichever voice acting I find better. I will watch the subbed version if there are cultural contexts that the dubbed can't cover.

I end up learning a little Japanese because of anime. Lol
