Do you prefer watching anime in subtitles or Dubbed?
I honestly when I was a young child I saw most my anime dubbed on TV. But once I got the option I decided to watch 80 percent of the time in Subtitles. xD

I don't think I have a preference at this point. I have had to watch so many videos subbed, but dubs save me the trouble of having to read when I am supposed to be watching. Hopefully my Japanese will be good enough so that I will need neither (though maybe I would want either to take a break from Japanese).

I mainly prefer subbed, but I have a few exceptions: Inuyasha- Dub only FMA- Dub only Naruto- Dub or Sub is fine, but I lean more towards sub bc I hate Naruto's english voice Samurai Champloo- Dub or Sub DB series- Dub only. I hate Goku's Japanese voice.

Dub mainly because It's annoying trying to read subtitles- while a cool fight or action scene is playing out.

I would rather watch dubbed, as I multitask or just get distracted so sub can be harder to follow for me- but sub typically (but not always) is better.

it HAS to be subbed. It's not out of arrogance or anything - it's just voice acting is so different.
Western voice acting makes a mockery of the intensity or makes the cutesy seem childish. Its no bueno. NEEDS TO BE SUBTITLED. it was designed and specifically creatured/curated with this in mind. Same way I would think watching Adventure Time in french would be effing wrong.

it depends imo like- some stuff have a funny or really good dub that I can't fathom changing to sub, examples being; FFXIV, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, Ouran Highschool Host Club, and BlazBlue Calamity Trigger
otherwise I go dub if I dont prefer the voices, it just be like that

II Lona II both if im multi tasking i like to watch dub so i dont have to take time to read subtitles lol although i will always need to read Soul Land's subsI'm the same, but I rarely watch with subtitles, althought I like sub versions more. Some anime aren't really good dubbed, English VA just don't have the pitch and tones and these nuances of Jap VA's

So yes it is all about the preferences in the voice acting. :3
