Having snuck into a library while her parents were buying supplies, for the farm. Teletta assured herself she would be back by the time she had to help get the supplies home. Teletta's parents surely wouldn't miss her. Teletta grabbed as many books as she could about the countries outside of yael and brought them to a table. The subjects were wide in range, from fiction to non fiction, superstitions. Which was a rather common and favourite subject for yaeli to write about. Teletta spent a few hours in the library perusing the books, she picked out a few to take with her and read and home. Pleased with her current selection Teletta gave her library card to the teller, though there was a rather loud hullabaloo coming from outside. Which seemed to be irritating the librarian, who wanted the quiet to return.

"Do you happen to know what's going on?" Teletta asked in earnest the librarian.

The younger librarian rolled her eyes at the question "Do I look like I know everything that's always going on?"

Teletta paused trying to think of something to say, before she could the librarian interjected. Teletta didn't think she was going to get anywhere arguing with the librarian.

"Exactly," The librarian motioned to the area inside the library "everything in this library is my business," she said before pointing outside "anything there is not."

"Thank you." Teletta said grabbing her books as the librarian seemed to head back to work. Teletta exited the library and started following the noise it looked like there was a temporary stage that got set up a little ways down the street in a green space. The Noise carried quite far Teletta noticed. Holding her books Teletta made her way to the stage where she saw a magician performing. At first she didn't give it so much stock but as he continued the magic seemed to grow more and more grand. Teletta's eyes eventually widened as she wondered how it was achieved, it seemed amazing. Then again she'd never seen magic like that.

Once the performance was over Teletta waited awhile till the crowed died down as they prepared for the next one. She made her way over as her curiosity took over. there was always two types of magic, real magic and sleight of hand, sometimes it was harder to tell the difference between one or the other "Could I ask, how you..." she started making motions with her free hand describing the magic she'd seen.

"Oh that, you'll have to ask our arcanist and mage they actually worked together for most of the technical effects." the stage hand replied, pointing to a pair of eathlings deep in discussion. One of them glanced up and waved at the stage hand.

"Thank you," Teletta told the stage hand as she made her way over. "Hello, I was wondering how you did so many effects."

"Oh that!" the earthling responded quite cheerfully weaving some magic into the palm of their hand. "It's an illusion, I specialize in them I was never good with potions like the rest of my class." their companion smacked them on the shoulder rolling her eyes.

"That's amazing." Teletta said she'd never thought illusion magic could have been used quite like that. She performed with the quirstine but this was on another level, if she was able to learn how to use magic like that maybe she could bring some of the worlds wonders to yael and they wouldn't have to be as afraid of them. "Can I learn how to do that?" she asked eyes still wide with wonder. The illusion still had what felt like weight to it which was impressive to say the least from what Teletta had read about magic.

The Arcanist pondered after taking a good look at her "Maybe, you might have the aptitude."

A familiar call sounded from not to far away and teletta looked over, it had gotten pretty late she cringed a little, she was going to be in trouble for this one. She bid the performers farewell and thank you and started running back to her parents. She now had a path to travel forward. She wasn't sure how her parents were going to take it though it wasn't probably what they were hoping. Teletta had been wondering as well how to bring up her want to travel again. Her parents had shut town her previous attempts. She'd give it another try when her parents weren't as angry with her for being late back.
