Itztenoch

Stood his ground with the rest, at attention, at the ready. Itztenoch had no concerns with holding his head high. With giving those who gathered there his gaze. Touch of severity that took it - that was buried beneath something more somber. Because this? This was what he felt he'd come for. To stand alongside the others, in defense of Caedus Call to Arms - to bolster the Commander's missive. In search of their Senshi, in hopes of eradicating Chaos and loosing its throes on the earth for all time to come.

Every moment spent learning about the place, small nuances of the beings that called it home, bright sunrises that stole his attention. Every bit of energy siphoned. It'd all been for this. Itztenoch would miss it, would take it home in pieces etched into his memories, and into his skin.

Would give himself up to see it done first....what must be done....what was necessary.

Cypher

Cy stood near the back of the gathered Cadets, wearing nearly the same expression as when they arrived. Neither a smile nor frown as he simply watched as the signal was sent and Senshi, as well as the Knights, gathered like before. Wondered if this time the group might be smaller, pondered the possibility that one of the wary onlookers had forewarned a chaos confidant of their plans.

A harrowing thought but one that couldn’t be ignored.

Like all the other Cadets, being chosen for this mission was an honor, a privilege. He had every intention of performing the duties and tasks required of him, more so after his brief conversation with Lyndin, but seemed he lacked the necessary skills to be of any use. Not due to lack of trying, it just appeared he did not connect well with humans.

Suspicion went both ways in equal amounts.

Should have tried harder. Offered, or asked, to join other cadets in exploring this strange world called Earth. Perhaps the honor of this expedition, this voyage, should have been offered to someone else. Someone who did not have social struggles as he did.

Of the few things he learned, none of it was of any value, just repeated information that had been learned by someone else.

Redundant.

Hopefully, redemption will come in the next phase of this mission; the comet.

Sessrumnir, Knight of Jupiter

Even as his heart beat anxiously, the necklace Sessrumnir wore gave him a constant reminder that he just needed to take a deep breath every now and then. It was strangely calming, and probably why Sessrumnir had taken to wearing it both powered and as a civilian. It was nothing special. Sure, it might have been an ancient artifact that belonged to his starseed’s previous life, but it wasn’t as though it did anything except swirl calmly inside the glass orb.

Its peace was at odds with how he felt, standing on the hill and waiting for something horrible to happen, as it always did. And if they needed to fix things, he wanted to make sure he was there to do it.

“Why do you have a phone with you…? That’s not yours, is it?” Sessrumnir frowned at the Eternal Senshi standing near him, and very nearly at his height. It seemed like only yesterday that Chibi Sailor Oberon barely reached his waist.

Eternal Sailor Oberon

“I’m live texting everything to Deets-- Perdita,” Oberon explained as he tapped on the phone. “I bought a burner phone online before coming here. She’s at her skating thing and felt guilty for donating energy but not being able to be here, so I told her I’d let her know how things are going. Everything. Is. Chill. L. M. A. O,” he said out loud as he sent the text to his friend.

He wasn’t sure what kind of feeling he had about all of this. Did he expect everything to go well? Not really. But that was just normal. The last time Caedus was there, they’d managed to piss off the Negaverse, but they also managed to kill one of their General Queens. But more than that, they’d saved a whole bunch of starseeds from a cache that the Negaverse would have destroyed if they let them.

If they were going to destroy Metallia that night, Oberon wanted to be there to witness it. And if they failed and needed to clean things up, then he would be there to help.

Gavaen

The stay had been fun, and Gavaen cherished every bit of it - even the sad parts he had learned of Earth, but even then he had done his best to bring light and hope, and see the good in everything. He had seen and learned so much, experienced as much as he could in this short time, and he would cherish that forever. This world was a beautiful miracle.

Now though, there was a very sobering feeling in the air, and even he knew it was no time for smiles and lightheartedness. They had something very serious they had to do, and even though he believed with every bit of his heart that they would not fail, he was ready to protect everyone here who had put so much effort in to this. He was ready to do all he had to insure the success of this mission. And he hoped...he hoped in the end he'd return home to see his family was proud of him, finally.

Gaven walked over to Fae-Fae stood by his long-time friend, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder. He knew it was right to feel nervous, so he wouldn't tell her not to, but he would offer his comfort, although it was slight in comparison to the hope and reassurance their leaders gave.

Fae-Fae

All of the reassurances meant a lot to Fae-Fae, they really did. It was lovely to be so cared for by her friends. Aliez's gratitude for their first sunrise made the memory of its warmth spread through her body again. But her arms were locked in place into fists just below her shoulders, and generating words right now was completely out of the question.

So she nodded at Aeleas and Aliez, her whole body rocking from the motion, and went, "Mm!"

Gavaen's presence, as always, helped her relax a bit more. She was able to take a deep breath, and her trembling eased down into quivering.

Paradise, Page of Cosmos

Paradise was both nervous and excited to see what was going to happen. She might have been new to the whole powered thing, but she knew that the Negaverse was bad and they needed to find a way to stop it from taking over the world. If Destiny City was all that was left, then they had no time to waste.

Maybe it wasn’t the best idea to put all of their hopes into that of alien technology, but what other choice did they have? Let the Negaverse just do what they want?

Although, she was sure that if they all sat down and had some tea and homemade pie, they might change their mind about the whole killing other people thing.

Absently she reached up to touch her husband’s arm, and gave it a gentle squeeze. Or two. Maybe she was feeling his muscles. He was still in good shape, given his age. And yet, she sighed as she looked at Lyndin with his arms crossed over his chest. Not that there was anything wrong with her husband. He wasn’t a thousand year old alien who aged very well!

“How much do you think Lyndin can lift?” she asked Empyrean, off handedly. What? She was allowed to be curious!

Dayin

Dayin had been sort of a background figure during the operation, observing and conversing with a smattering of people here and there, learning about the culture of Earth and its people. She had appreciated their celebration of sweets and bygone spirits ("Halloween," they called it), their inside jokes and slang, and particularly their "memes," even if she was left without context for the majority of them. Who knew that pairing even a single word with an image could carry so much semantic impact?

Of course, she hadn't spent all of her time in idle pursuits. The mission was vital, and here it was, so close to completion. The idea of seeing such a mission through gave her tingles of excitement, a sensation she did not feel often.

She hoped she wasn't visibly vibrating.

Transcendent Eternal Sailor Megrez

Megrez was visibly vibrating, just a bit. Though she kept quiet, she'd done her bits and bobs here and there to support the cause, even if it was just a stray energy donation. Now there was the moment of truth, one that could write history in any direction forever onward.

She'd brought allies, partly as backup and partly because she believed that they ought to witness the spectacle that was about to unfold.

Glitnir, Transcendent Knight of Mars

Glitnir surveyed the crowd of humans and aliens gathered, his arms folded. If it was possible to radiate a full-body "harrumph" with just body language and overall mien, he'd nailed it. He'd gotten the memos, he'd read the messages, and he was of two minds about the whole situation. Predominantly, he didn't think any of this could possibly work, and yet some small kernel of him hoped that it would, and that it would liberate Earth from Chaos's clutches once and for all.

Still, he didn't have great expectations.

Super Sailor Sadachbia

Sadachbia was similarly divided about this moment of truth. She didn't believe it could possibly go off without a hitch, as badly as she wanted it to. Strange thoughts were assailing her: if Chaos were decisively eliminated tonight, could everyone go back to their normal lives? Maybe even get some rest and move on from the traumas and terrors?

She'd never had such thoughts before. She'd been so happy to receive her powers all those years ago. So then, why now did she suddenly crave normalcy and release from the War on Chaos? Why did she want everyone to move on, to heal, to walk forward and never look back?

The doubts kept her silent in her trio, her lips pursed tight as she tried to settle her mind.

Transcended Eternal Scylla

The message from Caedus had hit as Jada was closing up the house for the night, getting ready to go out on patrol. When she saw it, she immediately went to Charybdis, and told the child to stay behind. If this was going to be a fight, it wouldn't be one she wanted her sister seeing. That in itself was a fight; Giulia seemed determined not to be left behind, but eventually Jada won.

Presumably.

She left the house alone, anyways.

On the way, her brain flew, trying to think if she was really ready for this. Would any of the people she had approached about forming a team be there? Would they all be able to work together if they did? Was that a chibi aura?

Was this going to work?

She lifted a hand to her necklace, inhaling deeply and focusing on her homeworld for a moment. Let the power that flowed between them settle her, calm her. So that when she arrived (late, it seemed) she appeared to be calm and collected.

This was going to work. This had to work. Would Order survive another rout? And what about the Velencyans, whose Vanguard- and whose King- had come here? If they failed, lost, died, it wouldn't only be the senshi and knights here who suffered.

"Cybele." She greeted the other senshi with a warm smile, glad to see a familiar face. Next to her was Ganymede, and Scylla smiled to the royal as well. And the knight, whose face and eternal presence at Ganymede's side was noted, but whose name was... welp. He got a smile as well, before Scylla drifted to look for others she knew.

"Pendour."

"ITenoch."

"Megrez."

And, of course, last but not least, "Lyndin. Caedus."

Sailor Minkowski

Minkowski, generally, preferred not to receive messages that had such dreadful terms as 'fight' or 'battle' or 'sos'. She avoided large gatherings, as they had a tendency to devolve into battle, if the fighting hadn't already broken out by the time she arrived. She just couldn't help it- she was a pacifist at heart, who didn't want to fight, and just wished... there wasn't a war at all. It was obviously hard to pretend that she wasn't involved, of course, and she did power up from time to time to offer her help with healing, but otherwise, Minkowski just put all her focus into getting through uni and now culinary school, maybe played piano on the side from time to time.

Naturally, she had kept to the sidelines during the events of the past month or so, getting her information through the grapevine, through other Senshi and Knights that had offered their help to the Valencians. The idea of eradicating Chaos, as some sort of mass-purification plan, had left her hopeful, but also pessimistic- could it really work? It seemed too good to be true. When she had received the message saying they were ready, Minkowski had felt awfully conflicted about showing up, moreso when she'd read the rest of the message, specifically, the 'If you are ready and able to fight' part. Was she ready to fight? Absolutely not.

Was she able to fight?

In theory, yes, but did she want to? In the end, Minkowski had shown up, if only because if there was going to be a battle, then people would need healing. Her magic wasn't the strongest, could only heal the most minor of wounds, but... she could at least offer this much, maybe.

Commander Velyria

Velyria was silent, watching the machines as the final preparations were made. This was it. The moment they had been working towards, liaising with allies and moving among the people of this planet. It had taken time, and effort, and work, but things were now ready.

She leaned on her scythe, a bit; its blade rested on the ground, and dug in when she put her weight on it. Their allies were gathering--and that was going to make this interesting. So many people all in one place.

She hoped that everything went according to plan, but of course, no plan survived contact with the real world. Alas.

Hyperborea, Transcended Knight of the Cosmos

Hyperborea had received the message and had sent one of her own to her fellow teammates asking them to meet her at the Dome. This would be the defining moment. Would Caedus' plan work. Could they really eliminate the Negaverse here and now. It would be a godsend if it work but Hyperborea was nervous all the same, she didn't want to get her hopes up too high. But if they could at least put a dent in chaos then it would be worthwhile.

So she made her way to the Dome where the last meet up had taken place. Her Crown of Stars was alight from all the gathered energy, it hummed in the back of her mind a constant reminder of the gathered power here. She had her staff in hand as she stood by and waited for her team to assemble.

She frowned so much energy in such a small place. Would the Negaverse realize something was amiss would they attack. She couldn't be sure but she prepared herself for the possibility as she looked silently at Caedus and Lyndin waiting for them to begin.

She looked to the wisp that had accompanied her. "You should get out here little guy just in case something goes wrong." The wisp seemed disappointed but it vanished.

Cadet Caelyna

This was it!! Caelyna was practically vibrating, rolling onto her toes and bouncing as she waited for things to kick off for real. This was the day they had all been waiting and working towards, and she intended to make the most of it. Her eyes were on the Commanders and the Commodore and Caedus, and she was eager and ready for whatever came.

And there were so many people!! So many friends and allies. She scanned for Gelria, who had been so sweet and helpful, and didn't see him, but that was okay. People were still trickling in; she hoped her friend would be here for the glorious moment when they destroyed Chaos as he'd hoped.

It would be...spectacular. And after that...well, after that, they would get ot figure out what was next.

Eternal Sailor Kerberos

As soon as the message reached him, Kerberos was on his way. He ran as fast as he could, after firing off quick texts to Nile and Lyonesse to let them know where he'd be. They would have gotten the message too, surely, but it was good to at least keep them aware that he was going somewhere.

He arrived at the dome, and was glad to see a good number of people present, gathering around the two he was most glad to see. And there, all around--their Cadets, the aliens they had brought to observe.

"Caedus, Lyndin! He greeted them with enthusiasm, and while he only recognized one of the people near them by name (though he knew the other two by sight--the lovely Princess who'd been at the first meeting and the Knight who'd been at her side), he gave Scylla a wave. She'd been at Scholomance's near-corruption, the one they'd all been so lucky to stop.

"Scylla," he greeted, "it's good to see you again." And he turned to Ganymede and Valhalla with cheer. "I don't think we've met before. I'm Kerberos."

He turned to their alien visitors, a broad smile on his face.

"So! We're all ready, then? How exciting. I look forward to seeing if this works."

It wasn't as if he was totally free of reservations, but...he trusted Caedus and Lyndin. Or, at least, he trusted their intentions.

Caer Sidi, Squire of Cosmos

The message from Caedus and the one from Hyperborea arrived for Caer Sidi in quick succession, and she came as quickly as she could. She was a little hesitant, still; although she'd met Fangnyl and he seemed honest and decent, she was still a bit concerned about the entire proposition.

And there were so many of them....even if her energy senses were terribly off, and she didn't think she could feel anything, they were practically a beacon.

She slid up next to Hyperborea, but her eyes were on Caedus, and Lyndin, and the machine.

"So it begins," she said, voice soft.

Super Sailor Asmodeus

Asmodeus had missed the first message about this whole...thing, with the aliens, but she'd learned later, and now there was a message, and so she had grabbed Hati and they were on their way. This was everything she had ever wanted, truth be told; the destruction of the Negaverse was what compelled her.

She wanted to believe that this was going to be the end. She wanted to believe that the monsters who had destroyed the world in that nightmare future she still recalled when she closed her eyes--because of course purification left her memories untouched, since she was leaving the Dark Mirror--burned away.

Maybe, then,t hey could work on saving the rest of the Court. Because it wasn't like Asmodeus hated her former allies, just...their neutrality in the face of the Negaverse's monstrosity had been too much for her to bear.

"Lots of people here," she observed to Hati, quietly. "Should be interesting."

Sailor Guinevere

Ah. The finale was approaching, it seemed, and Guinevere was hardly going to miss the last act. No matter her reservations about this plan to destroy the Negaverse, she knew that she had to be there to see how it all played out.

She hoped she wouldn't be alone, that her team would be there to back her up if things went sideways--but there were so many people here, it was hard to imagine it going all that wrong. Humans, aliens, and lots of strange, whirring machines.

This was setting itself up to be quite the show.

Aokigahara, Transcendent Squire of Saturn

It was a quiet night. Not at all the sort of night that one expected to herald something as momentous as the potential destruction of the Negaverse.

Aokigahara was still hesitant; Yomi's concerns rung in his ears, and it wasn't as if he disagreed with any of them. But this would be a powerful, decisive strike, and he looked forward to seeing exactly what they would accomplish with their extraterrestrial visitors' aid. There would be much to do, regardless of what happened tonight; either they would be dealing with a lot of newly-purified people, or they would have kicked a hornet's nest. Either would certainly change the war, one way or the other.

Cadet Caerynn

So much work had come to this, and Caerynn was proud of what they had accomplished. So much had been learned about the humans, and there had been some wonderful experiences with a living planet. Rynn had been able to watch a sunrise, and the Commodore had smiled at her, and she had met a talking feli- kitty. She had discovered a Mauvian. Which they had known of, but to realize just how intelligent the species was had made her feel accomplished.

Tonight was going to be the night. The sunrise she would watch next would rise on a planet Earth that was free from the influence of Chaos, and everyone would then be free to help her people find their senshi, and go back to their homeworld and rebuild. All of this was going to end tonight, and well, thanks to the guidance of their wonderful, handsome Commodore and their strange king, Caedus.

The Velencian watched the humans appearing slowly, coming to join the Vanguard, just in case, she was sure. Like had been observed in hive-minded insects, the servants of Chaos would come to try and protect their master, when they realized that danger approached to sever their connection to the Chaos. But it would be too late. The Velencyans had all been so careful, and not one person had been able to see through their disguises, she was sure. From her position on the hill, Caerynn tilted her head with pride, ready to serve. Ready to fight the enemies of her allies, and earn another smile from her handsome Commodore.

Sailor Tachibana, Chibi Senshi of Chrysanthemums

Tachibana was beyond nervous today, this could the end of the entire fight against the Negaverse. That would be great to make sure that no one got hurt by officers again. It would mean that her older brother wouldn't have to put himself in danger anymore and it would mean that she would be safe as well.

She stood to the side as other senshi and knights, some she knew some she didn't, and some of the aliens milled around all waiting for the event to start. She marveled at the containers of energy it seemed like the air was almost humming from the power collected. She just hoped everything went to plan today.
