Hades would let her explain the semblance as he waited for the cards to get dealt. He knew a third person was needed and already accounted for that with a a nearby staff member. Listening, he didn´t mind it at all. It was whatever. The first two cards would be picked before Hades threaten a man that was nearby. With Hades pick of the card from the deck, he would watch it go and place itself on the table. The staff member would then run up to the action and join in being the 3rd person. With this 3rd person, all the conditions were complete. After all 3 cards were drawn it was time for the reveal as the 3rd set would place itself on the ¨table¨ before them. He was unsure if the semblance made her the table or if she was just ******** with him. Hades would wait for the revealing of the cards. He wasn´t exactly remembering the rules as of yet. He would wait for her to give him the information. Did he win this round or was it her win. He was going to know once the cards start flying. That was for sure.

The tide was turning in battle. The deathstalker got in some good hints. Even making the b***h aura fizzle from impact. It was big. It was bad and it was strong! They were going to get defeated. There was going to be a follow up attack on Nejina to end her but the grim instead would shriek in pain. It´s bulb would be cut off as the tail tried to curl but ended up flailing from side to side like a metronome. The grim was in pain and heated, but it wasn´t over with by a long shot. With half of its health gone. It was time to kick it up a notch!. Ooze would start to leak form its abdomen. When was it struck there? Did Nejina´s attack do more damage than thought of? This was crazy! The threat was real. They could possibly end it soon. With it stinger gone as well, it was time. Taking its pincers it would start to bang around the area like a drum. Each bang causing a miniature shock wave of 5 feet. If it, the person will be bounced into the air and continued to be popped up like a toy. This was all it could do for now. Desperation starting to sink in.
Boss Grim Health Pool: 87/175 HP
Mod Information: Boss fight time! You do damage equal to your post count. You each have the ability to do aura enhanced strikes. This will be a modifier for this boss fight. You will roll a 6 sided Dice. Whatever you roll, you multiply your post count by it. Your post count is 12 and roll a 3 then you do 36 damage. If you roll a 1 you just do 12. You get to do this 3 times during the battle! Keep in mind using aura enhanced strikes will drain from ur aura pool. Meaning may cause your aura to break easier if get hit!. If you have a aura based skill or talent you get an additional 3 more times to use.
Nejina: Roll 20 sided Dice. If its 14 or Above you will notice Hannibal and its location!
Lyosha gave a simple nod to Monkeypaw, he agreed with her, If anyone who needed to be in the center, it was him, the stalwart person who rarely fell- wait- no, he should be in the front! Yet honestly, at this point he didn’t care. His head already was in slight pain, as was his lungs, from such the run prior. “Sure, sure...Whatever ya’ say. We need to stay on the river, fresh water is good water, Ma’ always said-” He said as he jumped as she smacked Rowser! Although it was more of a slow stretch, it wasn’t surprising, friends, even lovers, gave each other small taps on each other. Some of his friends even made it to the point where they bruised Lysoha- he would have chuckled before he turned his attention to Pyrrhus, who addressed him next. Although, he felt bad, assuming that Rowser knew his Ma’ and Pa’. Not everyone was lucky enough to have his parents. “Look- Rowser was it- I’m sorry-,” And he was out! While it was extreme, he still wasn't surprised. Yet with the odd look from Pyyhrus and Pennieh...he didn’t well appreciate it. He could take the skepticism, it was a given in this kind of environment. Yet he didn’t like it, staring eyes, those eyes were the kind of eyes that he gladfully blackened back in high school. Those eyes that said ‘You’re different...What the ******** are you?’ He gritted his teeth slightly and took a small breath. Hearing the news that Pyrrhus hadn’t seen his two teammates, his two friends, was disappointing, almost hurtful to him. He was worried, he didn’t want them to feel abandoned or worse, maimed. He stretched slightly. “All right...I guess we can look for ‘em...If ya’ don’t mind-” He stopped, when Pyrrhus started to call out Monkeypal for not following her word- was he truly being that petty!? Was that armoire really making him be such an idiot- apparently he wasn’t raised in the city. His head, and chest, ached. And those who looked at Lyosha would see small tendrils of his aura, red and black, crimson like blood, forming from him, radiating off of him before dissipating, his hand shaking, and nails digging into his palm. ”Okay this group of...Annoying f*cks, get your sh*t together. You! Listen here!” He said as he starred at Pyrrhus, his eyes, shaking, irritated. I don’t care whoever ya’ are,l I don’t care! If ya’ call people out, at least do it in a way that ain’t gunna end up in a full god damn brawl! And ya’ gotta realize...why she did that!! If I talked to a woman that way ya’ know what’d happen to me!? I’d get my a** beat, not just by Miss Monkeypaw, but by my f*ckin’ Ma’! So step the f*ck off, and get that metal head out yo’ a**! And the rest of you, do the same, if ya’ want to lie, just do it, I don’t f*ckin’ care. If ya’ want to backstab, I’ll personally leave ya’ in a bloody mess. You all almost made my semblance activate, that’s how much you all ‘ave pissed me off!” He yelled at the entire group, his body moving, stern, and unwavering. He was not letting some righteous ‘knight’ mess this up. He took a deep breath. “Now if you’re all ready, let’s be off, we can deal with honor or whatever later, right now, we deal with the NOW, ya’ got me?” He asked the group, irritated, and plenty angry at the group for not getting their *sses in gear.

Yumeko would wait with anticipation going through her body. They were going to get this finished, as Hades picked a card, it went into the air, beside her own card. They did not know what the total was yet. That was part of the game of course. Not knowing if you would win or lose. Then a member of staff would appear. He would pick his card as well.
Her aura would then reveal the cards. The first card, the one that Yumeko drew, was the Hermit in the upright position. Oooo, the Hermit, that's 9 for me, since it's upright. Then the next card would appear, Judgement. "Judgement in the upright position...So far, that's a positive, and looking like a win for me, unless the fool is drawn, it seems like I will win." Her eyes were a very bright shade of red. Then the last card would reveal itself. "The Hanged man, reversed. That's still a positive 17. Better luck next time." The 22 cards would fly towards him, attempting to rip him apart.
As Yumeko waited for it to be over, she would quip. "It's fitting that you picked judgement. It's a reference to the last day on remnant, where everyone dies. In the cards, it signals a hard end for something you are doing, but it means a brand new beginning from that hard end. In this case, I believe it's an end to your monotheism. It's time to recognize that if I am a goddess, then I am one of gambling." In her mind, she thanked lady luck for everything that just happened. She passed the class, and could take her friends on her solo mission if they wished to go with Yumeko.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ♡ ♣ ♢ ♠ 𝙊𝙊𝘾▓Rolled the d4 on Discord, got a 3, so it's upright.
This Semblance requires tarot cards, and the cards that Yumeko uses as a weapon can be used for this. Yumeko shuffles the remaining cards in her hand, activating her aura, this causes the thrown cards to shoot back into the deck to be shuffled. Then she "Deals" then around her, as if there were a table with places for 22 cards. The cards are around her in a 5 foot circle and move with her. The cards are projected to be 3x as big then they actually are once drawn. Yumeko then picks the first card, followed by the person that she has singled out. The third card is then picked by a third party. Once all 3 cards have been picked, the cards are revealed. The total amount decides who is the winner. Reversed cards are negative, and normal cards are considered positive. The total amount between all three decides who is the winner. The only exception is the fool, if the fool is drawn upside down, then Yumeko is the loser. If it faces up, then Yumeko is the winner. If the number total of the 3 cards comes out Negative, then the cards fly inwards towards Yumeko, causing her to be cut badly. If the numbers are positive, then all 22 cards fly towards the enemy. The enemy can dodge most of them. Then the cards fly back into Yumeko's hands.
The way the cards are picked, is rolling a dice with 1-22, then a d4 to see if it's normal or inversed, Odd is normal, even is inversed. The Major Arcana are in order other than the Fool. The Fool is 22.

One a brutal marksman, the other a close combatant optimist. Two polar opposites, in more ways than there already was. Who knew? The sheer irony of it all could only make outsiders wonder. No one could understand the tranquil feel of a big, heavy metal object with hooked "fangs" on both ends.... Nejina was too much of a maverick on her ways.... Not that she had truly wished for Damien to see that amount of crazy in the First place. There was great pleasure to know it was all going over his head... Or at least that was all she hoped that was happening. No one told her that being crazy over your weapon was a sane thing to do. The blissful innocence of her companion towards such a concept had carried a unique perspective regarding observation. Many other people out there could learn to do the same. The close combat was something to take into consideration, regarding to now. His jumping slash as a starter had given the confirmed insight, the impressive dodge of the tail on his end succeeding with the bulb of the deathstalkers tail meeting a defiant end. Through both their efforts, there was at least some good coming out of it. Only now with some success, the creature was only going to be even more difficult as they kept trying.
Caught off guard on her own accord by both distraction and the next move of the deathstalker, falling down had almost become a sort of annoying routine. If it weren't for Damien, she would have been bouncing down onto that ground, under the mercy of it's temper tantrum. What an annoying bug. Just escaping the range, her attention had shifted to her companion. "I think being in this forest was driven my mind into hearing things I do not wish to hear... I must be going senile!" Senile was a better word for it. What Nejina hadn't comprehended, was that she had gone anywhere but at a senile level. Once Damien had asked about the colour of her crowbar, her eyes had lit up. "Ah~. Indeed it is. A beautiful scarlet red of endeavour!" How the choir was preaching for such a good amount if fortune to bestow them! Knowing it was nearby was a good start, but finding it was the important subject to consider. She couldn't believe herself when her companion had volunteered to be the provoker and distract. What!? "What of you!? If I do not find it..." Shaking her head, she could see Damien could do it no problem. "Tch... I shant be long my darling~!" Taking the time she had now, Nejina had bolted into action for searching. Going to the direction intended, she, in frustration, dug and clawed through some of the flora, all the while listening for any problems behind her. "Where are you Hannibal!?" Scouring through, her heart pounded in a loud beating motion, making her senses bunch up from her hurrying. "Should be right... Here!" Gritting her teeth, she had finally found Hannibal laying on its side in the grass, one step from almost tripping from her foot catching under it. "Hannibal, my darling~." All too happy and chirpy to be reunited, it was time to finally set her mind straight. Damien had pointed the direction very prompt with a simple gesture of his eyes and head. He was risking his life to fight the angry mother... There was no way she was going to allow that filthy beast hurt him!!! "I'm coming!! I'm on my way!" Spinning herself towards their direction, she had activated the staple gun mode of the crowbar, twisting the weapon apart from the middle. From pulling apart from the centre, the activation triggered the magazine clips, the scopes, the triggers, and the grips to pop out. Without hesitation, she had taken no time to hurry closer, all while taking aim through scope, awaiting till she could catch their shapes more clear in the dark. The moment she could somewhat tell that Damien had moved out of the range of fire, she fire out 3 staples. Ooc:

“We got this,” Damien looked back giving her a wide grin and attempting to reassure her. Nejina was sure beating herself up and that was not cool! He turned his attention back to the enemy making good on his promise. ‘Hell yeah,’ Damien internally celebrated watching the venom bulb fall to the ground; however, the death stalker began to ooze not only from its tail but below from the abdomen area, as well. The boy crinkled up his nose, “Yuck.” The death stalker began to pound its pincers against the ground in resounding desperation. Damien crouched down close to the ground trying to keep him steady enough to go on the offensive or at the very least, be able to defend him if the situation arose. This was not an optimal position to be in; he would have to count on his partner in arms to follow through. It was so loud with the death stalker essentially throwing a temper tantrum, but Damien was certain that he had heard Nejina’s voice beautifully ringing like music in his ears. Had she been able to find it?? He looked up from his crouched position to notice her beginning to stir. With an overpowering amount of confidence and efficiency, Nejina spun on her heels pulling her weapon apart into its ranged form with ease and grace. She was able to move and carry the weapon simultaneously with ease. Damien could not tell how many shots were fired as it was in immediate succession, but the death stalker mother fell promptly to the ground disintegrating into the dust being caught in an upwards drift. Success! He knew his trust was not misplaced!
Damien waved with a goofy smile running up to Nejina, “Hey, you did it! That was amazing.” Damien had not anticipated jumping into battle again so quickly after fending off the baby death stalkers. What he did know is that they rocked it – again! “I told you we make a great team,” Damien looked down at her with beaming eyes when his stomach made an awfully obnoxious sound. “Hehe,” He chuckled nervously putting one hand on his stomach and the other behind his head, “I guess we did get in a wicked workout today, huh?” When the rumbling finally ceased, Damien held his arms outstretched with a little smirk playing on his features. Nejina did mention that she would have approved of his hug when the fighting had ceased. Of course, he would wait for her to come to him; though admittedly, that was not always the case. He tried to make a habit of letting the person make the move with the very first hug but after that, they were fair game! When she accepted, he slipped his arms around her neck. ‘Wow, so comfortable,’ Damien breathed in deeply with a firm grasp around her upper shoulders, middle back. “You smell nice,” he exhaled resting his chin on her shoulder feeling the heaviness of his eyelids starting to droop. What was that? Vanilla. He chuckled lightly when he caught a whiff of the mosquito repellant - She was admirably prepared to say the least. He was much more tired than he anticipated shifting forward for just a moment.
“I-I am sorry,” Damien lifted himself and half-heartedly tapped the sides of his face trying to get the blood flowing. His mind wandered to his teammates wondering how they were fairing. Rowser was totally dead if he ended up having to fight any of the Grimm without someone super dependable. Yikes! But hopefully not. “You know I do all of the cooking for our team, maybe you should come over sometime for dinner,” He beamed with pride stuffing his hands into his jacket pockets. Did he learn to cook because it was basically indentured servitude to the Shimizu family? Yeah, but he did genuinely enjoy it… Well, that and the eating of course!

Poison was a nasty attribute. It was deadly, and it made the victims look... Atrociously blue. There was nothing more bland or wasteful to Nejina than using poison. Sure, the screams were still there, but with poisons, those screams were either cut too short, or were refrained from happening at all. Screams were supposed to be the fun part!! Screams aside however, the grimm having such a tactic as well was just cheating to the extreme. The poison secreting from the ugly beast for that matter was atrociously attempting to destroy them black and blue, with Damien at the moment as the spotlight. To see him be black and blue, covered in the atrocities that is practically insect secretions, was a horrible image that she would never wish on any human, or on any prince charming. As for faunus... Long as the poison left behind the goods. Another reason to hate the crap.. If it were the acidic type. Nejina refused to allow that to happen in the slightest. A true lady had to jump into battle, and help assist in some way.
What a way of assisting though! The firing of the staples had proven as effective she held the confidence to uphold. The firing was another example of staple guns being just as wonderful and effective as a regular gun. What a beauty Hannibal was in BOTH crowbar ANNNND staple gun form! Her baby was as reliable as always~. Nejina for once, wasn't giving her weapon that credit. She was only able to find her crowbar at all thanks to Damien, as well as him giving her the opening for the shot, on top of risking his trust for a crazy girl he just met in the woods. Perhaps both of them were utterly crazy all together~! Despite being a killer herself, she had taken no thought on anything regarding that, more so taking in from what she could see on the condition of her teammate. That hadn't taken long to figure out as he had approached her, making praise. "What a lovely charmer~." Practically giggling in delight, the corners of her eyes had softened from its glare, having all resistance to be hopping excitedly in place, all while forcing herself to stay composed. "You know I could have done nothing without you and your impressive skills my dear~. I am relieved you were able to dodge that amount of craziness." What she had said had actually held a full on truth. What a rare sight. Their silent victory had been disturbed by the rumbling of his stomach by then, and when he spoke on it being a work out, she had to agree on it. "Indeed. Although... It merely is the side selection of the plate, compared to the grand feast we could potentially walk into, should disturbances continue to stop us from passing~." So much of it had a point. Referring more to her aura attempts, she had to watch herself beyond that point of time, or at least allow her aura some time to pick itself up a notch from some cool down. Who knew if there would be any proper time for that or not. Aura was unpredictable. "Oh~?" What was he doing? Damien had his arms out, which had her confused a moment. When she realized he was offering a hug, she had approached into his arms as she had promised, bringing her arms around his stomach. Hugs were... A foreign thing to her. This hug had given not only an odd sense of security, but it also had given a state of observation... With comfort to back it all up. Strange. Comfort was the expectation, but their hug was showing that expectation to be more than anticipated. In fact, it was making her dizzy from the warmth, but not the type of dizziness that would make her want to fall. More of a high than anything else. She actually felt a little more... Human. "I had to wonder if the repellent may have ruined the vanilla. Vanilla is luckily, sweet and powerful in it's aromatic beauty. Just.. Let me know if it gets overbearing~."
The issue never came up however, but instead... An apology? Realizing she may have been a bit odd on her own choice of words, there was a light texture of pink upon her cheeks, something Nejina hadn't taken note of herself. Clearing her throat softly, she simply held her hand up nonchalant, in attempts to reassure. "You have nothing to apologize for. Honest." Bringing her hand down towards Hannibal, Nejina gave her companion a chance to get himself up to par once more, the surprising question catching her off guard. Cooking? Dinner? Wow. Someone who actually wanted to cook her something too? This was a two for two of catching her off her game plenty. Interesting to know they had a cooking skill. Thinking about it, she finally answered him after a thoughtful pause, nodding softly. "I wouldn't mind. Long as cooking and talking is all we do of course. If yous play any games, I'll just watch~."

The finale was here and the cards were dealt. The staff member had his card added to the scale. Looking, the cards would reveal that it was a win for her. He didn't technically lose much out of this deal but a loss was still annoying. He would chalk it up simply at the fact they were now even. He could just beat her up but there was no point to it. They both knew who would win the fight. The cards would come towards him but Hades made no effort to move out the way. He was making his own point as well. ******** what she meant by Judgement. He used his aura, what remained her had to cushion the blow from the cards. At least, there was small excitement activating in his body from the cards slicing into his body and bring about new scars. The cuts would leave the blood to start dripping from his body and winces of pain to come from Hades. The sadder part of it all was no true fight. Just wounds. The Blue balling was just in full effect tonight.
Hearing the prophecy, he laughed as he looked over the damage to his body. She was amusing. He could at least give her that. “Silly, just because I am a god doesn't mean I don't recognize the possibility of others. They will still be below me though in the end. I only recognize those who truly have received the gift of divinity” He informed with a smirk. “A god fears no one. Until your fear is destroyed within you, You will never be seen as a Goddess by me nor be seen as Apate. “ he explained before looking at the sky. His time in the outskirts showing. “Ahhh yes~ Class will be ending soon.” he commented before started to head off. “I wanna see how this ends” he whispered. His focus back on the class. He had a passing thought to still show her who boss and at the very least break her arm, but he decides just to take the L.

TEAL, ROWSER, PY..PA...PATT..PYRRHUS, PENNIHAH..PANNINI..PENIDA....JUST EVERYONE IN BLACK AREA
You would think with the majority being in such a central location and emotions possibly running high that they would attract grim. However, this would not be the case. Little did the others of TYRD know that their leader won the bet so SHE already passed the class. They did not though. Considering Hades wasn't watching anymore, it was all just random timed events that he had automatically set to occur. The group would start to heart barking along with the sound of paws stomping against the forest floor. The thundering sound would increase more and more. If anyone looked from their south direction they would see that a pack of Wolves was heading for them. These wolves didn't look friendly. They were not wild wolves. In fact, they were domesticated and trained to hunt things such as animals, track scents, and other....unquestionable things. There were a total of 12 wolves coming for the group in the Black Area. Someone may want to wake Rowser and let him know that sleeping now was not going to keep him from being lunch. Were these part of the test? Yes. Yes they were! 4 of the Wolves had a collar on them which attached to the collar was a golden key card. With this introduction 2 things could be deduced: there were more than enough key cards to get the shelter open and with the introduction of the abundance of key cards (well more than the original amount) this meant that the test was going to end soon. Time was starting to run out. Can they last until then and will their actions be enough to pass? One thing was for sure. Lyosha may not get their asses in gear, but these wolves looking for some huntsmen steak was going to.
Nejina X DAMIEN
The beautiful pair in the woods. It seemed the beast underestimated the two. Or was it simply the fact that Hannibel came into play to finish the job. The strength gap one presents when having their own weapon in comparison to that of another is outstanding. The deathstalker was done and now they were free to continue on whatever path they wanted. Luckily for them, they didn't have to deal with the dogs. If they looked they would still come across the poster with Hades. If they ignored it then that's fine but if they actually looked at it, then they would find something interesting. There was a stimulus present to catch their attention. The moonlight's rays reflected off the poster and something shiny seemed to be reflecting from the poster. This was an entirely different Hades poster than the other one that could have run into. This poster had a different pose. It was just Hades face and his glowing eyes, the crosses emphasized.
Yumeko would watch as the cards hit him, being unmoving. It was a surprise how much of a power difference they had, however, she understood why. Yumeko was only here to gamble with Grimm. Oh, and to hang out with her friends. She knew they didn't enjoy her gambling antics, but she would forever be one who would gamble. If her sister were to die, she would be the only Shimizu to take over her family business. If that day ever came, then things would change.
He would then talk about how divinity was truly a gift, a blessing to those who deserved it. Yumeko would just smile. If that was going to be how it was, then that was it. She won the gamble, she would be able to pass class even if her flare went off. As the last of her semblance went off, the cards would fly back to Yumeko's hands. She would shuffle them in her hands. What an interesting predicament they were in. She would have to tell her team about the mission when the mission came closer. For now, they needed help securing their victory. She would place her weapon in her chest, the sharp bits hurt, but she needed to find her team.
She would start heading the way she was when Hades stopped her, her grade secured as it was.
_____________________________ They were continuing but it seemed more delays would hold them up. It started with the holy knight, who seemed way too sharp for his own good, the small female chimed just after, followed by their leader and Lyo. All asking the same question now, she did not keep her back to them instead she turned it to the woods and prepared to flee with her teammate if necessary. She had to plan and choose her words wisely, she didn’t need to run for her life or Rowser, perhaps thwacking her teammate wasn’t the most wises decision but it keeps him quiet while she explained things. She let out a breath relaxing, she didn’t need to lie, she didn’t need to deceit, this wasn’t the real wild, after all, most of those here were students here to learn just like her.
Alright Teal lesson learned, learn to read people better. Not everyone, rather a voice says otherwise, will want to kill you.
“Fine, then, the truth, but you must let me speak it all before you decide to attack, what is it they say, Innocent until proven guilty? That announcement made earlier by our teacher, involved me and my team. I am the Leader of Team TYRD. Teal Monkeypaw, Call me Monkey, the idiot that couldn’t keep his mouth shut, that’s Rowser Rabbleman, the girl that Hades asked for you all to search out is Yumeko Shimizu, the last member of our team is Damien Alexavier.” She kept the spear in her hand at arm’s length ready to use it if needed. ” I’ve survived in worst conditions than this, grim at every turn, starvation making you bark at death’s door, fighting for your last breath, just to have a single ray of hope offer its hand.” Her eyes were distant but her body still read it was ready to fight though she showed no sign of making a move or offensive/ defensive stance. ” I will not apologize for my course of action, nor will I apologize for what I have said or told you or the group Pyrrhus our teacher wasn’t as forthcoming with why exactly he is after her if I know my teammate as well as I do, which I do, she more then likely distracted him then stole something from him while he was distracted. I wouldn’t put it past him to fall for it he also lifted my survival kit that I keep stashed on the underside of clothing before we all dropped, he felt me up to find it. It was the only way he could of, he was fast when I turned to swing on him he was already gone… I was planning to give you my full name when we first met, however, I could not trust anyone after my family became a target, as a team leader, it is my job to protect all of them, no matter the cost to myself, their lively hood is the only thing that means anything to me. You may call my means of what I did to my annoying friend unconventional, rude, vulgar, barbaric, but I have done us all a favor. Unfortunately, he is the voice of our squad that speaks for none of us, and often his mouth can land us in hot water, for instance, this exact moment.” She smirked. ” This is not the first time I have had to shut him up in this way, it was for his good as well. His spouting off has now landed us in a tight situation. We have been marked as your enemies, though we are not, yes we did deceive you, but you have to understand, how do you explain something you do not have all the facts about? Even when it is about you and your team, when you are accused there is no clearing your name without proof, my only proof is my team’s word of what has happened. Ro ended up with that weapon for some reason, though it had to of been weighing him down as he went I could tell he had let it sink into the river as it was just below him when I fished him and it out. I am also the one-” She paused for a second, her tail she had wrapped around her curled around the piece of plastic within her cloth and pulled it out. ” Upon getting felt up by our teacher, he placed this card within my...” She began to blush a little. ”Unmentionables.” She finished her tail flicking with the key card in its grasp not letting it go. ” This is the ticket to us all getting out, he just said we had to collect several, that doesn’t mean a group can’t collect them and then use them to leave together. Or everyone together for that matter. I am still right about us sticking together being the best outcome, I know I am. I can only promise to be forthcoming with you all from here on out and not hide behind walls of lies-” Her voice trailed off, a sudden shift in the wind, the smell in the air, like that of blood, mud and wet dog.
Every hair stood up on her body, every instinct told her to flee now. Her instincts were right several howls began to ring in the night sky and the sound of thundering feet and snarls began to bound towards them. Teal had only ever been hunted by a pack of wolves once, she remembered hiding in the trees for several days until the pack ran away. ” We have incoming! Wolves, and a lot of them.” She had to think fast. There was no way they could make it to the bridge she had seen, and she couldn’t just leave everyone here and retreat into the trees. ”We have no choice we have to stand and fight. If you have a weaponized Semblance get it ready, they are running through the river now, I can hear the waves breaking, they are large in size to be able to wade the river, alright everyone gets into a battle position when they charge us don’t let them break centerline. Rowser, wake up I didn’t hit you that hard, it not a time for a nap.” Teal began to shake him under her arm he let out a low grown and she sighed, why did she have to knock him out. Maybe this was more her fault than she wanted to admit, maybe letting him simply yammer on than dealing with everything after was a better way to go about it, no, she saved all their brains, she believed that with every ounce of her being.
The wolves were getting closer their paws padding the mud of the opposite river bank. Their smell looming ever closer. As everyone’s attention began to turn to their new guests. ”Get your aura shields up, those that don’t have weapons watch our flanks and back those that do or can fight using their semblance take to the front lines, and protect those whom can’t” She sat Ro down on the ground and took a stance in front of him. Her aura started to collect she moved past them all into the front lines her body slowly collecting a green tint as her aura began to cover her body, this was more than just an aura shield. She readied the spear the long end behind her back wrapping her arm around the pole for better support.
She hoped the others would follow behind her, if they didn’t and fled she would not blame them, she would face the wolves alone if she had to. Her finger feet dug into the dirt bracing themselves for what was about to come.

Heck, Damien was relieved that he was able to dodge the death stalker and able to keep himself centered long enough for Nejina to finish off the creature too! The way she worded her sentences was different than most people that he associated with; maybe she was just more intelligent than his normal peers. Whatever it was, it was a really cute quirk! “Oh yeah,” Damien blurted completely oblivious to the fact that there still remained the possibility of being attacked by something completely separate but admittedly, he was especially not worried now having seen his companion ripping up the combat zone like a real professional. They did have to worry about their aura regeneration but still, “We should be safe. Those Grimm outta be scared of us now.~” There was that goofy grin proudly on display living the world in the moment.
When Damien released his embrace, the boy felt very at ease. More importantly, Nejina did not seem to mind it either. She would now be the target of random hugs back at the academy. Hopefully, she liked him as much then as she did at the moment! The world was always a little brighter when you spread kindness. There was also the little fact that he was convinced that anyone who accepted his hugs could not truly be a bad person inside – those kinds of intimate moments would make a truly bad person uncomfortable. The vulnerability and being exposed in that kind of emotional manner was uncomfortable even for many kind hearted people. Of course, intricate thoughts and reasoning like that were beyond the poor boys capabilities. For Damien, he had to keep it stupid simple. “It is the perfect amount,” Damien winked playfully at Nejina referring to her vanilla scent. While he did catch some of the odor of the insect repellant, he internally wondered whether that was because he was a Faunus or not. He tapped his chin thoughtfully before eventually letting the thought pass. Guilty as charged, Damien acted like he had been shot through the heart. “Was it that obvious that I play games or just a lucky guess,” he chuckled nervously. Well, it did not seem fair for her to just watch while he played games if she was not interested, “What do you like to do?” The question was a rather innocent one.
Damien meandered over to the location of the discarded second axe which had been abandoned when Nejina went to go search for her very own weapon. Hey, now he was twice as handy! “That was pretty lucky for us that your weapon came out of nowhere,” the boy crouched down looking over the weapon. Honestly, the craftsmanship was impressive and the grip was super comfortable. Somebody was going to be expecting these back in pristine condition or at least, as close to it as possible having been used for combat. When standing back up, Damien noticed something a bit interesting. “Hey,” the boy urged his companion over while tilting his head quizzically, “Come look at this!”Well, this was a bit weird of a poster!“I think he caught his good side though,” Damien mumbled to himself. Nejina mentioned being much more familiar with the proctor of their exam, “Does he do these kinds of ridiculous things often?” His tone was questioning but oddly enough, it did not carry much judgment. Was this like the golden ticket from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory? “You got the last hit. You should do it,” Damien moved behind Nejina draping his arms over her shoulders. Yup, he was already making himself comfortable around his female companion.

A feast it was, and how glorious the meal. Nothing like the tide of a fight, to bring out the inner heart of a woman's poetry... More so the rebellious lust of a crazed woman, mentally in pain for ages. Nothing could get more exciting than to be celebrating within the arms of a trusted human companion, to calm those inner demons down. Miss musical could certainly work with such terms for the most part. Lucky for Damien that there was a prevention of pointing aloud he found that talking a cute quirk. Speaking in random tongues of justification for her actions, as well as her actual descriptive of a battlefield, they could have been standing there for quite a while, should the chance arise for her to know and keep going."No one can understand the codes within a tongue that speaks of passion for the more... Unique, things in life." Ensuring they truly were safe was another ideal choice they had to consider. Damien had pointed it out himself, which had reminded her to look around just to be sure. "The last thing I need is another deathstalker trying to shoot cowardly poison at us!" No one get her going on how she felt about poison substances for combat! The first was bad enough, and after all of that... They should definitely be scared. There was a monster in the woods of monsters, and she found a reason to use that monstrosity for good use for once. Having to turn her head away for that second, she had to hide the narrowed eyes, and the feral smile. "They should certainly be scared my dear~." Turning her head to him once more, her smile and eyes were back to normal. "They need to know us humans can be rather ferocious as well~."
Enemies aside, there was another odd notion she had to force herself to consider. They were out in the midst of woodlands, through the darkness of the night, where anything could jump at them in any given time... With no passing thought of considering any of those important factors, because hugging seemed more appropriate for the relief spreading. Damien wasn't wrong for bringing the idea up in the first place. Hugs were rather enjoyable, and the body heat and warmth... Certainly kept the voices in her head away. Silence for once, filled her head by this.. Leaving her... Rather bare. Almost exposed in some sense. Them letting go of one another was the safest choice for both of them. Not just in the regards of enemies around, but in the regards of a young woman almost ... Self-conscious!? That was she shock at least, as Damien's comment had her actually blush.Dreaming as if one were a newborn bride was unbecoming, and reality had to sink in. Speaking so vulnerable, she had admitted to being a bit of a wallflower, which had surprised even her for slipping out. "Oh!!!" Hugging herself in the process, when he had went to fetch the other axe, she had gulped down a constrained fluster she had been holding. He wanted to know what she liked to do? She couldn't tell him that! "Oh! I was simply just making a guess you had! It's odd to say on my end, but I do more so like watching others play, and observing reactions, the anticipations of what a game can cause.""One cannot properly fit in without observing how one should truly act, and watch was competitions truly looks like when it is only in good..."fun." Technically that wasn't a lie. "Aside from watching the thrill of games, I do enjoy an afternoon of tea, with eclairs, and some good quality horror films!.. I also enjoy sewing, and for sport, surprising enough... Track and field." What Nejina hadn't pointed out was a few... Extra amounts of stuff. All the other stuff, she had left it out. She had said too much already! There was thankfulness that Damien had already moved on from the subject, going towards the axe she hadn't realized she had abandoned behind. OOooops! Hannibal always came first~! "Glad that one of us had found it again. I really should apologize to it's owner later for half-hazardly dropping it. I must agree, but I do wonder how they knew to drop Hannibal nearby us. Rather hard to take it as anything but fishy." The attention of Hannibal had her attention and care drop in an instant about the axes Looking down towards her own weapon, before glancing her icey blue hues back to Damien, he was already off towards the next point of interest nearby them. "Hm~? What have you found?" Some good news... She hoped. Li9ke... Maybe a note saying they passed?
Approaching over towards her companion, she had been about to be composed and relaxed once more... Until she saw the poster on the tree. Tch!!! Was this truly necessary for them to see!? Why was it so... Flashy? Nejina scrunched her nose, having her own opinion on the random poster before them. "Was he truly in love with himself, that he needed to let the woods know?" The lengths some people went to let the world know they were hot! As a vain person herself sometimes, she certainly was not amused one bit. "Well, he is certainly full of himself, but I surely hope there is more to this than us wasting our time seeing what potentially look like a dried up prune should it rain." Answering Damien's question with a tone that matched her expression, she was all too happy to rip the poster off the tree. Feeling Damien's arms on her shoulders though... Had rid majority of the aggression, reminding her she wasn't alone once again. How sweet~! Going from aggressive to passive, her voice had actually cracked. "A-alright..." "Gah... Why is his sweetness making me weak!?" To ensure she was back to sweet mood herself, instead of actually ripping it off the tree as planned, she had instead taken it off in a gentle manner, putting the paper away into a pocket for later. She had an idea hit her for later, as a nice, lovely dose of revenge. Just what was hiding behind the paper though?

Rowser Rabbleman Team TYRD “Silence is golden. And that's also why I'm not stupid rich.”
Rowser groaned and mumbled as Teal came clean to their group. At one point he snored before he was gently shaken. He'd be lying if this wasn't welcome in a way, however. Mostly due to it being so late. If he had realized that class would be running basically all night he'd have tried to take a nap at some point. His lips curled into a small smile as he mumbled a bit louder., “Teal, you always know just what to do...” Just what sort of dream was he having? “But you wanna hear 'bananas' you gotta work for it...”
It would be a wonder if she didn't break his nose after that one and keep him out for the remainder of class and then some. When she sat him up he stirred and slowly opened his eyes, completely unaware of the words that just escaped him. He blinked a few times and wondered about the confused looks he'd surely be getting. “What happened? Why does my head hurt? Teal...did I trip and fall into your fist again? I keep doing that somehow...” Before he'd get a response, however, he heard the growling and barking from the wolves. Any color in his face quickly drained as he screamed. He lunged onto the nearest thing he could grab which, surprisingly, wasn't Teal. Considering his daze from having just regained consciousness and the throbbing in his head, he wasn't thinking straight at all. He clung onto Lyosha's back and cowered considering his lack of a weapon. That and he just woke up and now there were wolves. Very scary!!

"We have yet to find Thyra, and as for Bugro...fear is why he is hiding because of the newcomer." Pyrrhus would finish before going through his own thoughts and eventually speaking up about what had been nagging at him for a bit now; just especially so at this moment. Pyrrhus felt relief at the echoing from his teammates to support him and his current goal of the truth. He hadn't expected any of them to for sure speak up for his cause now; not with the current situation they all were in. Penninah with her few words asking for truth...and Alois with his usual language doing much the same. Especially at his description of Pyrrhus; that he was a knight, and he told no lie. It was a genuine complement from their team leader, so Pyrrhus felt pride in that. He would speak further on how it was okay to lie at first with strangers, but if they wanted to trust and work together the truth needed to come out or they would split from the group. Which, something Pyrrhus genuinely had not accounted for, would weaken the remaining ones considerably. Which, while he did not like Bugro's character, he did not want to abandon the one he considered weakest of all in the group at the current time at least.
Pyrrhus had been surprised to see some duality to Lyosha, given his introduction. He had shown to try and be apologetic at least; to Bugro before he was knocked unconscious, and cooperative about the plan in general along with his placement. He was an unpredictable one to be sure; which could be a boon, or curse, depending on the circumstances. Unfortunately, he had started speaking around the same time Pyrrhus would call out Monkeypaw because something was fishy. Pyrrhus just hearing him offer to help find their missing teammate when he was speaking of deception. The...change to Lyosha was noticed by Pyrrhus, even though he would not falter. The fact that he had tendrils of red and black aura around him briefly before fading; wondering if the person had been about to use his semblance and instinctively growing weary. He would then resort to a more...crude word choice, as he would 'call out' Pyrrhus. Yelling that he didn't care whoever he was, and that if he was going to do this he should in a way that didn't lead to a brawl. While angry at the moment, Pyrrhus could see deep down how he chose to do it could've led to such a thing. But his anger pushed the thought aside for now; whatever happened now was bound to happen at some point while they could still separate. Then he would try to side with Monkeypaw, saying how Bugro deserved it despite being promised no harm would come to him. That he had also experienced that with his own mother breaking her word to harm him. Telling him to back down, and to for some reason get the metal head out of his rear; which was strange given he wore no armor at present, but he assumed he meant it cause he saw him in his armor just before flight. Pyrrhus could feel his anger brimming at that; especially as he contradicted himself by saying if they wanted to lie they could but if they backstabbed Lyosha then he would lead them in a bloody mess. Especially at his words before of Pyrrhus starting a fight with how he spoke only for him to do the very same in the same speech. Pyrrhus would glare to him, the first he had to anyone that night, as he spoke quickly after he talked of moving on.
"You criticize me of escalating, yet you yourself do the same mere moments after. You speak of how he deserved such things, but in the case of our survival and cooperation here it relies on trust. Without trust, we are better off on our own. You speak of deception to be alright, but betrayal to be what you do not accept and that you are prepared to respond with violence of your own." He would say, eyes locked onto Lyosha though unlike the man prone to anger judging by his digging of nails into palms and trembling, Pyrrhus remained calm-seeming and composed despite the fire in his eyes. His voice never going to a yell; even without aura, proper weapon, or a shield he would not show fear to someone who seemed to rely on anger to get as they desired. Nor would he follow Lyosha's command so easily; no matter how much swearing, yelling, anger or threats the man conjured. His attention would be taken then by Monkeypaw as she began to speak. Teal would say she would speak the truth, but they must hear her out first before they would attack. To which Pyrrhus would give a nod to her; still not in a threatening stance to her as he awaited her plea. He was not going to attack unwarranted, his plan was to split if her explanation was wanting, but he did not desire to interrupt her at the moment. He would rather hear all out she had to say first. Monkeypaw would admit that she was Teal, leader of team TYRD and that Bugro was actually Rowser. 'The team accused of making, and breaking, a deal with Hades for an advantage. Was that why they had Lady Penninah's weapon?' He thought to himself silently but would reserve judgement and conclusions for when she finished speaking. She would mention the names of the other two members of her team, while still holding the spear at ready. Which Pyrrhus could understand now why she made him consent to not attack...especially given they had been labelled as traitors to the rest of them. She would claim to have been in worst situations, and something on hope as well. Perhaps to try and say the hope was this would not turn violent, but Pyrrhus could not be certain. She would say she would not apologize for her actions or words, and that Hades was not forthcoming in why he was after one of their team in particular. She would say how that one likely distracted and stole from the instructor; 'If it is coming from her own teammates mouth when she is trying to explain things, then I can believe that much.' Pyrrhus thought to himself silently; it would also explain why there was such a high reward for her elimination. She would then mention how the teacher would've felt her up to get rid of her survival kit; making Pyrrhus curious if she had tried to sneak the kit into the class or if he had foregone the courtesy of asking for it and merely took it. 'Something to consider asking afterwards.' He would think to himself silently. She would then continue to say she had been intending to give their names, but after the professors announcement she did not to protect her team. Which made sense for the situation; Rowser was especially out of it then and encountered by a few new strangers in rapid succession. Even if Pyrrhus did not personally agree with the lies, such a situation was one that made it at least a bit more understandable. She would go on to say she accepted any manner or names or insults to her act of quieting Rowser, but that it was necessary for their deception and he had a habit of making things worse by speaking. While not entirely convinced in her methods or her words, there was sufficient doubt for Pyrrhus to not brand them as traitors. Enough to be wary of their word, but not traitors quite yet. Trying to clear ones name, if slandered, was never easy; particularly in this situation.
She would then tell the truthful version of seeing Rowser struggling in the river with the weapon, and unsure of why he got it. Even pulling out one of the cards that would lead to a safe haven from her person; claiming it was stashed in a...inappropriate area by the professor. 'Why would he reach down...' Pyrrhus thought though quickly dismissed that line of thought with a blush of his own as Teal blushed. Despite all this, she was still advocating to stick together to get to safety. She would then promise to be forthcoming for the future, and that she would not hide behind a wall of lies in future. Pyrrhus would need more time to think on all this new info; it was a lot to take in, and she had not been exaggerating in saying it was just her word against the professors. It could easily go either way; this could be another lie, given they got a weapon and a key card and one of their own stole, or it could be the truth that they may've been set up. As her voice trailed off though, Pyrrhus became more alert to his surroundings. Something was wrong, as he too could faintly hear something approaching though was unsure what exactly. Teal would be the first to identify what it was; wolves. Eyes turning to the source of the sound after, Pyrrhus could just make them out to their south...and gaining fast. As Teal would say they had no choice but to stand and fight, Pyrrhus would nod and take position alongside her without question or hesitation. While he was still unsure on her, his morals and code dictated how he would act immediately; 'Protect those who are weak, never fear to act.' He would heard the words from his code in his head. Giving a nod to teal as no aura would appear for Pyrrhus, but he would brandish his large tree branch; ready to swing once one was close. "I know not whether to trust your words as of yet, but we'll discuss whether we stay or part ways after we deal with the wolves. Until then, we have a truce and you have my support." He would say, showing no fear or uncertainty in taking position besides her. As he looked to the oncoming wolves, he would see something...golden, on something that looked like collars on them. He could not quite make out what it was yet, but he was sure he would be able to once they got close enough to exchange blows. Bracing his feet and centering his balance, Pyrrhus would await for one to fall within his impromptu weapon's reach to strike and hold the line. For now, not paying Rowser any mind as he was too focused on the wolves. ♞ Post count: 18 ☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀.☀ ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄
