What does your character leave as an offering for the wishing star? one of Gao's mane knots with a mane feather and pearl from Taranis.
Short IC Response: They had been blessed with Asha as a son, but he no longer needed his father and baba so much anymore. He had grown into a confident, self-sufficient stallion, and while the two stallions were proud of their beloved son, they missed having a child that depended on them.

While Taranis was grateful to Nirmala for their most precious son, there was a small part of himself (ok, maybe not so small) that longed for a child of the both of them, himself and the stallion who was the other half of his heart and soul. So when the star made it's appearance over Kawani once more, he convinced Gao to go with him to beseech the star for another child. One that was of the both of them.

What does your character leave as an offering for the wishing star?
A dried apple, a bit of tangled hair, the first flower of spring, and a whisper of hope.
Short IC Response: Latcho and Pheonix approach the hill, leaning against each other. They had literally braved death for each other, been halfway across the continent trying to do what was best for each other. It hadn't been easy, but both of them knew their hearts would always beat in the other's chest. Now . . . the hope that the star brings, made them journey here together.

They gently lay their offering down, mementos of their past and their hope for the future. And for a long time they just stare up at the star, each sending a silent wish. Then Latcho nuzzles Pheonix, wanting an extra minute with the wishing star.

He takes a deep breath once he's alone on the hill, "I know my family is . . . different. That we have a curse from both our blood and the magic that dances on the dark moon. But with Pheonix . . . I want to have a family that is blessed. Where the echoes of blood don't drive my children. Where we can be loved for who we are and not feared for what we look like or what we do. My love . . . she accepts me, completes me, cares for me even though I'm a monster to most. I want to raise our children with her, children not cursed as my family has been. This is my wish. But no matter . . . our children will be loved. This I promise. Whatever blessings the spirits bring, they will know love."

That said, he gives a small nod and turns to rejoin his lifemate and love. They lean against each other as they walk away, his tentacles stroking her hair, her tail twining with his.

What does your character leave as an offering for the wishing star? They each leave locks of their hair and extra hair sticks, bells(silver and gold in color). They also both leave flowers in multiple colors in pastel colors making a small rainbow. Using their horns together they are able to give them a glow and they shine under the stars as well. Nokomis leaves a feather from her wings representing her and also the wing marking that she and her sister share(as well as some of her own children). Misae leaves a realistic butterfly to help represent her in hopes some of her real butterfly friends will help lead her mother home to them.
Short IC Response: The sisters met at the edge of the woods when they learned of the mysterious and magical star that appeared once again over the lands. They were no strangers to its blessings as it had brought Misae to Nokomis years ago, a sister she didnt know she had! Before that, the star granted Noko a daughter so she hoped that finally she could meet the mother she never got to meet and Misae barely remembered.
Misae hugged her big sister and with a nod they headed off to the highest point to leave their offering. When there they carefully placed everything down and stepped back. With a deep breath they touched their glowing horns together and sparkles fell over their offering. Nokomis spoke first "Mysterious star.....We meet again, I ask much of you again Im afraid. We ask for our mother. Im afraid Ive never met her and I wish to know her. I've always felt her in the moon, thought she was the moon until Misae came into my life. I have so many questions left. I want to know her, I need to know more and fill the missing piece in me....", tears trickled and she couldn't speak anymore.
Misae leaned on her and looked up for her turn to speak. "Star, hear our joined hearts desire and need, please. I don't remember much, I remember her warmth and love. I remember her protection, I remember her smile and laugh. When I think to memories all I see is a pale rainbow and white and nothing more but I know I would recognize her if she were to appear in front of me. Thank you star for all you do and all you are.", with one last glance and bow of their heads silent tears of hope fell from their eyes and they returned home to their families hoping one day their wish would be heard.
