Despite the blindfold, Ghost could feel the eyes on him. While he could not see the color of hers, he was using her facial features to guess just about where hers were as well. How successful or not he was, he did not know, but he enjoyed the thought that it may feel like he could see straight through her blindfold. So he did hope he was guessing correctly. When she accepted the challenge he gave her, his fanged smile only grew slightly. 'She is fun at least.' He thought to himself. Had she refused...perhaps he would've made some special exception in this game. Perhaps...he would not have left it to luck. But seeing that she was willing to take part in her own game, place herself at risk, he had no reason to consider such thoughts. So long as she did not cheat, at least. But that was to be determined for the time being. So he just took it as a good thing, and hoped she would not twist fate. He would remain silent, and merely watch as she picked up the deck...before setting a card before him first, then herself, and placing the deck to the side. Her smile grew after his question, which was both worrying yet thrilling. She would go on to say they would see who fortune favored tonight, and say that whoever had the highest card would win. 'Such a simple game...yet I wonder what the stakes are behind the game?' He would ask himself rhetorically in his mind. Having no way to truly know the answer until the cards were flipped, and their fates revealed. She would be faced in his direction, though he could not tell if she was meeting his gaze or not. He almost felt like asking, but it would spoil the mystery and fun if he did.

'Lets get this over with.' He thought to himself, knowing delay of any kind would not increase his chances at this point. Sometimes, in some games of chance, timing was everything. However in this one, it sadly did not play a factor in. He did not even get to pick his card, having it be chosen for him by her. He just had to hope fate favored him over her. He would slide his hand on top of the card, eyes still on her, and carefully got ready to flip it. To avoid any unnecessary blood for the time. At the same time, he would learn something else about her. She was an impatient person. A silent smile grew on his lips as he felt the temptation to test her patience now. And a small desire kindled in him...But he resisted for now. To do such a thing...would only lead to violence. And while it may be fun to start fights...and it may have a been a very dramatic flair...he would resist for the time being. "Allow me to do the honors. On zero...we reveal our cards. Three...two...one......zero." He would begin, making the simple act of flipping cards all the more dramatic, while still keeping his eyes locked to where he thought hers were. His count purposefully being slow and deliberate, testing at her patience to see if she would try to pre-empt his zero by timing or not. Because from three through one, he kept a a consistent time frame of two seconds between each call of a number. But for one to zero...he doubled the time it took to get to the number. The second he did say zero though, he would quickly flip his card in one fluid motion to the upright position while pressing down on the bottom of it with his index finger. Slowly, his eyes would turn to the cards...

She could not tell if he was just good at guessing or if he could see through it, but her eyes met his quite calmly. It was an intriguing trick, she admitted to herself. The devotee to Lady Fate watched the young vampire before her as she had explained. He seemed to be quite amused at the thought of the game, which pleased her. "He seems mischievous," Tyche thought absently, the thought fleeting before she would rest her hand on the card before her. Both followers of Fate caught in a game of chance. The prospect excited her to no end, almost inciting her impatience. The wait was always the worst and yet the most exciting part.

When he asked for the honor of the countdown, she was almost tempted to pout and say no. Then she decided to play along; after all, Lady Luck had brought them together for a reason. No need to be rude.
"Go ahead," She purred before he would begin the deliciously torturous descent of counting. Her nails rested on the top of the card. Waiting patiently for her guest to end his countdown. Heart racing from excitement behind a deceptively calm and relaxed expression. "...Zero," She said softly at the exact moment he did. With a flourished sweep and flip, she revealed her card as he did...Her eyes widened behind the fabric of her fold as they rested upon his King of Diamonds. Shocked, and slightly nervous she would look down slowly at the card now flipped face-up before her...

  • Hades would continue trying to eat his bar food when he heard the drunkards yell at him to mind his own business? Something clicks in his head and to be honest it was no fault of them. They were just the victims of his own annoyance and frustration of his personal life. His golden hues would stare at the two which caused them to turn and make him the new target. "You dare talk back to a god?" He questioned looking at them in disbelief. Even if he was costumed as a Uchiha. The glow of his eyes almost seemed as if he was activating his mangekyou sharingan. Everything was in his domain to see and if they were to fight over a silly woman just to try turn on their lord and savior. Then he would teach them a lesson. Not in repetence but in the fury of a god.

Seeing one hop over the counter to meet Hades, he would simply knee him in the stomach before putting him into a standing arm-triangle choke. His red-tinted eyes staring daggers into the other male as his victim was gasping for air. "Do you dare follow in his foot steps?" Hades would ask while sounds of gasping filled the room but not loud enough to overpower it. Realistically only those nearby probably heard the man gasping before he passed out. Letting him go to where he dropped behind the counter like a deadman, Hades flinched which caused the other drunkard to run away like a coward. "Thought so" He stated simply

Ghost's eyes would travel first to the servant of fate, seeing her flourished sweep and the reveal of her card...a two of diamonds. A rather low roll, he thought to himself, but he did notice one feature as she did so. A tattoo of a red diamond on her wrist, matching the suite of the card drawn. A smile curled at his lips from the luck of her drawing such a card. Even if it was essentially a one in four chance, it was still high odds not to be so. He would also note her widened eyes as she seemed to be looking to his card, before his gaze would travel to his own as well. And his smile grew further as he saw the cards. 'It seems she favors me today.' He thought to himself with a smile. He did love these games of chance and risk, especially when he felt there was a danger if he had not been so lucky. A thought came to mind too, of how he was king of the suite of her arm. He wondered what significance, if any, it would have on the woman before him. Looking to her with the smile still on his face, he would break the silence first. "It would seem Lady Fate favors me for the evening, but it was a fun game nonetheless. Thanks you for allowing me to play. Though I am curious...As a follower of Fate, and this being your suit judging by your tattoo, what would this mean?" He would simply say in a friendly tone of voice, and curious as to what this would mean for his time with her. He was curious of the significance of her tattoo as well and how it may play a role...perhaps his question would lead to more answers a well. He would pause after a bit, to await her answer, before his eyes traveled across the crowd. A fanged smile gracing his lips as he turned back to Lady Fate before him. "Hmm...Perhaps we can play another game together, as I am growing fond of your company? One where...you draw a card for one of the guests here...and let me know their fortune/future, as you would interpret it from the card. I am most interested to hear your insight as a follower of Lady Luck." He would say, curious and trying to learn more of the woman before him. He knew the card were weaponized for some reason, and that she seemed to hide more than she let on, so he was hoping he could glean more of her from it. He would seem to pause again, and let out a dark chuckle for a moment before his eyes locked to her again...keeping that same glow. "Oh, pardon my manners by the way. I joined you without introducing myself. I am known as Ghost...May I know the name of the lovely follower of Fate I am lucky to have met?" He would say, again in a friendly tone of voice, and being genuine in his words. A...delighted smile on his lips. Both from this meeting...and as he learned of her semblance. Seeing a tarot deck, different cards flashing with different meanings. Each one unique, and depending on fortune, can favor her or another. "That...would explain the cards, and her being a follower. So many possibilites, but so few cards that can be used.' He thought to himself with great interest in it.

The hierophant of Lady Fate would look through her blindfold up from the card to its current holder. Inside she roiled but, externally she merely frowned for a second before it would turn into a small smile. Tyche would watch the smile of her opponent grow. "Interesting indeed. She favored him...Why though," Tyche pondered this as she observed him further. He had not only drawn her favored suit...but, he had drawn the King. Something she read into very much so; and she had a feeling that if Fate brought her here, it would be to meet this man of all people.

He would break the silence first, making her covered eyes move back to his curiously. As he spoke.
"So it seems...and I've enjoyed it, nonetheless. Thank you for joining me in this game," She smiled then, thinking of his question as to what it could mean, as she collected the cards; silently noting his observance and thought on his question while she picked up the goblet to her right with casual grace, took a silent sip before setting it down again. "I have yet to interpret it further than that the Lady brought us together for a reason...And this meeting will not be our last." She replied as he was turned away from her while she picked up the deck. "Hm, he really is fun," She thought, a small smile playing her lips while considering. Maybe just looking out among the crowded room? "I'm listening..." She said before he would turn a fanged smile back to her and continue. She then pondered silently at his offer for another game as she shuffled the cards, the soft clicking continuing as he spoke, her expression thoughtful still. Enjoying his company all the more as well, her small smile grew at hearing he enjoyed hers. She was not often used to hearing that outside of her usual company.

As he proposed the game, she was internally thrilled with the prospect of not only a chance meeting set up by Lady Fate, but tonight might also be more fruitful than she had first expected.
"Flatterer, but he's good with his words," the thought unbidden but, no less true. "Alright...Anyone in particular? Or are you letting Fate choose," She inquired first before hearing his dark chuckle, which made her purr internally from the sound; something that she had to shake herself from. His eyes glowing, she would look at him through the blindfold, curious of his friendly yet genuine tone. As she finished her third shuffle, she would set the deck in the center of the table as he introduced himself; Ghost. "Pleasure to meet you, Ghost. I am known simply as Black Cat," She replied in a casual yet friendly tone. She was genuinely pleased as a smile crossed her red lips; both by this meeting and the current company.

Blair sighed as things took a not so fun turn. Sure she had started the chaos for some laughs and giggles, however it did not go the way she planned. It didn’t make that big of a scene. Did she want a scene? Of course, they were at a party in a bar that tended to serve shady characters, it was bound to have gotten interesting, but alas it did not seem fate was in her favor in that way. Instead she watched from a bit of a distance as she saw Hades make quick work of them. It didn’t seem to phase anyone else in the bar, just goes to show what kind of people were there tonight. Blue eyes watched as some of the bounders came, picked up their motionless body and carried them off to be dumped outside. Why wasn’t Hades getting such a treatment? Getting thrown out? Well…. this was a villain bar, the owner did not care as long as nothing got damaged. Besides Hades was a regular.

Letting out a long yet silent breath she second guessed her decision in coming tonight. I should have stuck to what I told Hades and not have come…. but I spent time finding the perfect costume….Maybe I should have just agreed to come with him in the first place…. She stood there, arms crossed under her chest making them pop even more than they already do on their own, her mind somewhat lost in her thoughts she was not paying too much mind to the situations around her. Should I approach Hades now… I…This is always so frustrating… One would think that being partners in crime with him for two years she would know how to act around him, but ever since their small fallout things weren’t the same. Things had become different and she still was learning how to navigate it. She couldn’t help that her stubborn and prideful nature had a way of making it harder than it needed to be.

You know what…. ******** this…. It is a party. I am going to have fun!

Why waste these looks? Why waste a chance for a good time. Her plans changed. Her target became another, Hades himself. Lowering her arms from under her bosom she gracefully walked up to the god dressed as an Uchiha emo. Would he recognize her right away? Blair had a feeling he probably wouldn’t. ”Oh my, quite the warrior I saw just now~” She knew him, she knew he couldn’t deny words of praise. Her eyes looked him up and down “sizing” him up as a hand slid onto the counter right next to him. ”They were being a bother. You have my thanks. Can I offer you a drink or two?... It is a shame… you seem to be alone…?”

This sounds terrible… There is no way he going to fall for this? I am giving myself away… Her flirting was coming off awkward, at least it was for her. Only time would tell if it was working. Perhaps as it went on she would get more into it?

  • Of course Hades didn't get kicked out. He was way too connected. He been through many experiences in here. Even had a knife to his throat do to his laziness on a job. Man wanted it in 4 days. Hades took 10. Thought he flaked out. "A god is many things. Me being a warrior is true. They were nothing. Easy." He comments soaking in the praise as he flashed a grin. Compliments, the food to a god's ego. More fuel to the eternal burning fire. She also brought offerings. Drinks. "I would love a drink or too my goddess. Are you as divine as your outfit make you?" He questions the long haired woman. The dress was an intriguing choice but made sense considering the mask she was dawning. "Many people dislike the serpent lady. But, that always because the tale has her in the wrong. Its rarely told about the perspective of Poseidon taking what he wants like an animal. Medusa the victim, but many fail to see that." Random commentary but it was something that intrigued him. Hades wasn't dumb by any means and he felt it was okay show he wasn't just a tall tree at this moment.

He wondered was this woman as damaged as the being she was portraying? Her flirting wasn't bad and it wasn't the best either. It was kind of neutral on his radar. Maybe one's first attempt after a break up? Hades didn't mind it. Blair wasn't there, so why bother being mopey. Maybe he just figured she would change her mind. Eventually. "I had a date. She bailed on me. So, alone is good way put it." Hades informed, finally acknowledging the last bit of the flirt. His semblance would show that everything was clear. No secret attacks. No craziness. "But that's okay, not many are able to stand in a god's grace. Or, I could be a false prophet and the devil in disguise. Whether the risk is worth pursuing is up to you." A challenge? Or a straight up admission that he wasn't a savory type of person?

Medusa dressed Blair blushed at being called a goddess, and while she was in a way acting to somewhat mess with him the blush was true, though she kept it from becoming too bad, but as he began to analyzed her costume and point out how Medusa was the true victim, her blush darkened. ”I… am… impressed. Some others on my way here tonight thought it an invitation to have their way much like Poseidon.” As much as such a phrase was one she could be using just to trick him further, it was sadly true. Coming to the party had involved wiggling past some unsavory folks. If only he knew who she actually was, his “damaged” suspicion would be spot on….

It stung hearing him speak of how she had bailed on him. ”A...ah… you poor thing…” Her voice oozed with sympathy she had to fake and pull out of a deep abyss somewhere in her heart. A hand rose and grabbed one the glasses the bartender hand poured for them. For the first time tonight, hers also had actual booze. Her little play was off for now. She was with Hades now. Handing him his own, it being the exact drink she knew he prefered, she pondered what to say. Little did she think, the drink was a way to give her away but perhaps he wouldn’t think much of it. Dammit…. don’t notice… wait …. do notice dammit Hades!. This was conflicting. She wanted him to see it was her sooner, but at the same time she was scared of what the side effect of that would be. He was already bummed she had ditched him, finding out she was tricking him would just escalate things. No… no… it is not my fault he is too dumb to notice its me. I mean… I should know its me…. why isn’t he noticing? Just because i have hair extensions? But the rest is 100% authentic Blair… This was getting to her in a way she had not anticipated. If she meant what she did to him then he should spot her a mile away!? Or so was her logic.

Now pissed herself she decided that she would take this chance to get all the intel she could. What things did he say about her to random women? This was the time to find out. Taking a seat next to him would begin to pry, her voice sounding concerned for his well being, when in reality she was wanting to strangle him for being an idiot.

”I think after being used by a god a devil would be a nice change of pace~... I guess I am fortunate your date stood you up? I should thank her for giving up on such a package~” She took a sip before continuing. ”Perhaps leaving before she changes her mind wouldn’t be such a bad idea~” She paused as a coy smirk came to her lips. ”That is if you are… up… for the challenge~”

Blair wanted to smack herself for even suggesting that. This was really testing her patience. Why was she doing this to him? Well…. reasons…. reasons that were bound to backfire…. badly….

  • "Then they are fools that deserve the karma that comes to them" Hades would respond noticing the blush. Even with a good look at her, he still didn't recognize that it was Blair. Amazing really. Maybe Blair and Medusa was more alike than one may believe at first glance. She would give him sympathy about being bailed on. Hades didn't let it go much further. "No need be sympathetic. It's quite alright" He would retort before taking the glass. It was....his favorite? This woman certainly had good taste but it was a big hint. A hint Hades didn't take. Most people didn't drink this brand of wine that he liked. It was extremely dry and the flavor of the grapes was highly tart to the tongue.

Coincidences were a thing and it was saving Blair. Or maybe it was sinking her down further into her guilt. With her taking a seat next to him, he would already finish the drink. Nothing left in the glass that he was just handed moments ago. Was Hades becoming an alcoholic? He drinked occasionally and recreational but there has been a steady increase in volume. Certainly. Her flirting continued and it was either by accident or on purpose that she included the line being used. Considering everything, a nice session would be lovely by now. Yet, that was when he was going to pull the most devilish move he could do. Deny her.

"Thanks for the drinks. While lovely as it would be to go that route....you not worthy of such a magical dance....Only a thot tries to slither in on a man on the rebound. Maybe you more of a serpent than you think?" He explained. To Hades, it felt like the devil was trying to trick him. To get him more into a mess. "Besides, just because I was left here doesn't mean I am available to be scooped up. " He would add before getting up. The alcohol making him a little wobbly but he was managing himself just fine. It was only a slight increase from the normal buzz. To think, he was doing this just to help himself and more prove he can go and flirt and socialize and not cheat. Yet, he didn't realize the mean stuff he was saying was to Blair.

How is he going this long without realizing it is me? How dense is he? Well… but how quick he down that glass, he probably isn’t all that sober either…. While she was focused on his inability to notice it was her without her coming out and saying it, she was not thinking about the dire consequences this little act of hers was sure to bring. Well, she did think of it, she just preferred to get away and pretend none of this had happened. He didn’t need to know. He didn’t need to find out.

Not long after her little “invention” she began to drink the rest of what was in her glass, something she would soon regret as his answer came.

"...Only a thot tries to slither in on a man on the rebound. Maybe you more of a serpent than you think?"

His words caused her to choke on her drink. Hades’ response had gone unexpected. Wait…. was I WANTING him to say yes…. Am I…. just constantly sabatoging this s**t? Blair had not thought this little game of her’s through. What it would have meant if he had gone with it? Unless he was pretending he didn’t know it was her? No. That wasn’t the case. She would know if he was “playing” along. He would not have used such harsh (yet true) words if he had.

With a shocked cough she avoiding choking and the last bit of her drink ended up back in her glass. ”I…” She was going to begin to say that it was her before he got too into it but her little mishap make her throat tighten requiring her to clear it by coughing again giving him time to continue.

"Besides, just because I was left here doesn't mean I am available to be scooped up. "

Blue-green eyes blinked behind her mask as she felt something inside her flutter… what was this sensation. The color of her cheeks took a faint pink hue, some of it hidden behind her mask, but her lower cheeks were still visible and he would notice it if he cared to pay attention. Though, he could easily mistake it as a flush of frustration or embarrassment rather than what it really was.

Seeing as she was playing a role she picked up her act and placed the glass down harsly onto the counter. ”Well then, you should send different signals next time! Hmph!” With that she too got up and turned to leave, her body twisting, long blonde hair following her motion exposing her back to him for a brief second before falling to cover it again.

With that she would begin to walk away. Her plan to make it back to her loft and him never learn of this. Dammit…. this wasn’t what I was expecting….

▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃ ▃

Ghost wondered what went on within the confines of his current company's mind. The slight frown that quickly turned to a smile, the casual grace in taking a sip from her goblet in her apparent shared enjoyment of present company...He wondered if those were signs of something he should try to learn, or if they were just simple throwaway gestures to be taken in stride. It never was simple to figure out what was a tell and what was merely subconscious. For now he would let those slide, not knowing her well enough to say if it truly was anything. Her next words piqued his interest though; she believed lady fate brought them together, and that it means they would meet again. The last seemed less like fate...and more her own initiative, but he could not be sure. He also had no clue if being brought by lady fate as she put it was good or bad with the woman before him, but he could handle himself well enough to find out at the least. He wanted to study her, to learn more of her, but conversations in public were hardly the most forthcoming most times. 'Alone is when people cease to fear being themselves.' He silently thought to himself, curious if she was as she seemed so far. Not that a cat playing with a mouse would be something encouraging to uncover, from the feeling he was getting from her.

He would hear her constant shuffling of cards as he laid some bait for her, to see how she would approach it now...and perhaps later. She seemed to be debating it, and his comment on enjoying her company seemed to at least have the effect of making her smile. Which, depending how their association went, could be both good and bad for the future. She would then ask him how the person would be chosen. Smile remaining on his face, and not skipping a beat, he would respond in a casual tone. "If Lady Fate brought us together, I feel it only fair she gets to decide." He would finish, wondering how she would take that decision. If she was expecting and would take it as such...or if it would get her further in her good graces. It was not, however, like he would have chosen any other way. His preference was with luck and chance most times. This was just one scenario where it had the chance of more benefit than normal. As she set the deck down between them, she would introduce herself as Black Cat with what he took as a genuine and friendly smile from her red lips. For a moment, an image flashed in his mind of it being colored after blood...which caused him to smile lightly at the thought. While she may be here as an emissary to Lady Fortune, she represented to sides to a coin. Success, victory, riches...then Loss, failure, and death. She was too hard to read one way or the other; whether the predatory aura he felt from her was playful or sinister, he was unsure. Both were dangerous in their own ways. He did find it amusing she gave him an alias though.

'Much more enjoyable to go by than a regular name.' He silently thought to himself as he learned something new about her. Her semblance, it seemed, truly was random. She had no true control over which cards she would draw. Completely at fates mercy. 'How fitting.' He silently thought, before he made himself appear to physically relax in her presence. "The pleasure is mine, Black Cat." He would respond with a respectful inclination of his head to her, tone seeming relaxed. He truly was relaxed in her presence for now; partially from his over confidence, but also feeling she would not risk something so in the open. Plus, if she saw him relaxed...it would either entice her to take advantage of him, or to relax as well. Either or would suit his purposes just fine. Seeming to be lost in thought a second, his expression would clear as he would reach into a pocket and produce a piece of paper...before sliding his arm with palm open towards her, the paper in the center of it. "Seeing as Lady Fate had decreed we meet in future, I feel it fair to offer you a method of how. With that out of the way though...Shall we begin our final game? I am...most curious to see how you pick the person to be judged by Lady Fate, and how you interpret her will." He would simply say, with a tone of respect and inclusion to her. He was not sure how much longer he planned to stay, nor how much longer he would have the choice to come and go. He was also curious if she would accept the paper from his hand; it could be the innocent gesture it seemed, one of trust, or a trap, And he was curious if he could glean what she took it as in her reaction and how she would take it.

  • He didn't respond with words. He just shook his head and was about to order for another round. Taking a glance at the exiting woman, he would catch the glimpse of her lower back. It wasn't much at first until he noticed it had a bunny tail.. This lead him to beg the question was it her? Blair wouldn't be that dumb to try flirting in such a sense right? Or maybe was a trick? Maybe she did this so she can catch him in the act. Confirm the rabid suspicions that he was unfaithful? If that was the case, it backfired.

This better not... he thought as he wondered whether play it cool or just handle it now. Standing up, he would choose the other option. "SINCE YOUR PLAN FAILED YOU JUST GOING TO WALK AWAY? " That was the cue. She had to know now that he knew of her flirting with him. He didn't know what to be mad about the most. The fact she didn't want to come but came or the fact she came and instead of them trying have a good time she pulled this s**t! Of course, he didn't give confirmation or say it was Blair. So maybe.....maybe he was just upset the lady didn't pursue harder. However, his tone hinted the truth

With her back turned it would not have been possible for her to fully be aware of Hades’ actions, however, she did pick up some things, like the sound of him standing up and of course his voice as he spoke up. It was much louder than she would have liked, after all, they didn’t need attention drawn to themselves. Alas, it would seem that the music of the party and the other conversations going on muffled his own voice. Perhaps it had seemed loud to her as she was still close to him. The owner of the place (and the bartender as well) gave the too a look, rolled his eyes and wondered to another side of the bar to deal with customers. It would seem the two of them bickering was nothing new and not of interest for him to butt into. As long as not damage was done to his place he didn’t care who argued nor why.

While he spoke in a manner that avoided her name, she wasn’t going to hold up the façade anymore. Such a tone would not be used for some random stranger. This tone was one only she was truly familiar with. That… may not be a good thing. Taking in a breath, he would see her shoulders raise as she inhaled and then fall as she exhaled with a sigh. Blair turned, blue-green eyes facing his from under her mask.

”....” For a couple seconds she said nothing as she pondered the best way to answer, how to get herself out of this mess. Things were screwed up enough. No bullshitting answer was going to make it any better, she may as well be honest. If he believed her or not… well that would be on him.

”My plan was apparently thought out in a very poor and pathetic manner.” Her eyes closed for a second as she sighed again while sitting in the same stool she had been on just before. Her right elbow plopped on top the bar table as her right palm supported her head. ”I thought it would be fun to surprise you at the party or some s**t. It's truly idiotic. Figured could be fun to give you a sense of picking up someone ‘random’ again. It is halloween anyways. A day for pretending and other s**t.” She shrugged but kept her semi lazy and semi defeated position. ”I did not plan for proceeding in the off chance you didn’t recognize me. You were really pissed about me having said no and whatever. Got curious what you would say about it to a stranger since you didn’t see it was me.” She waved her left hand lazily but with a purpose, for a drink to be sent sliding down the counter for her to catch. The night was pretty much ruined anyways…. why not drink and pretend it never happened?

Her eyes gazed down at the drink in her left hand as if hesitant if drinking would really fix anything. She wasn’t one for getting wasted, she didn’t like the feeling of not being in full control of her actions.

”Anyways. Just pretend none of this s**t happened. Nor that I am here.” With that it seemed she had made up her mind and would begin to make a motion to completely down her drink in a single gulp, if she did not go interrupt that is….

  • Was Hades ears msitaking him? She didn't turn around and give him a yelling match back? Something he was sure the bartender was more than okay with. Instead, she seemed almost apologetic. "That's a weird plan to try get me do something I shouldn't be doing in the first place if we being serious now" Which was something Blair seemed to forget. The basis of her plan was flawed from the start. She was trying to get him to indulge in behavior in which he suppose to prove he could stay away from. This was going beyond flirting. To pick up someone usually meant....a certain thing in Hades head. Even if plan went ahead, it seemed kind of weird. It's okay you cheated because you cheated on me with..me. He couldn't comprehend.

Having her join him, Hades didn't know how to feel. To be mad or to let it be? He decided to just be neutral. Pretend that it didn't happen. But, he couldn't let that slide. "You have such a defeatest attitude" he commented with a strangely irritated tone. "I would of been fine but that last little bit...If you here then just be here. Chill. Enjoy ourselves. Why make it complicated more than need to be? I should be petty and just do as you say. Pretend that you aren't here... Actually. That's exactly what I am going to do" The mail would then stand up, sharingan glowing in the dark infront of his golden hues as he would make himself towards the exit. He was sure some people there he would meet soon in the future. Some new faces that he hoped to come back. He loved a fight. He also loved money. New villians brought in both. For now, he was just a Hades who was done with the night.

Black Cat was pleased to hear his response right after she asked about the choosing of a victim. Upon the third and final shuffling of the deck, the young woman set the neat pile at the center of the table. "He is wise indeed. But how wise, I still have yet to see," Tyche thought, her small smile remaining. As Fate's acolyte, she rested the tips of her left hand's fingers atop the deck. "Fair point," She responded before introducing herself.

Giving him her alias was preferable, especially when first meeting. She also enjoyed the name as, depending on the culture, a black cat could be seen as good luck or bad luck. Discreetly turning her head, she would silently assign a card to each potential target before she would look back to her current company. Ah, he seemed to be relaxed now which, naturally, she would mirror his relaxed posture as she relaxed slightly in her own way while still keeping proper posture. From her cornucopia, she would collect a small silver coin. As he held out the paper to her, she held out an open right palm with the coin and gracefully collected the paper with her left hand leaving the deck to do so. Lightly caressing his palm with her nails as she did, her gaze through the blindfold never leaving his as she did so.
"As Lady Fate demands. It's only fair...that you may may have some way to find me as well." She responded, a soft purr (?) in her speech before her fingertips would rest again on the deck before gently spread them out in a fan-like appearance upon the tabletop.

She would then close her eyes as one hand would rest in her lap. Her right hand seemed to slightly float over the cards before resting on the one Lady Fate whispered for her to stop on, before feathering out the card. Opening her eyes once Lady Fate gave her back control of herself. She did not flip it over though, instead, she moved it closer to her companion.
"What will he tell me," She wondered, a curious expression playing in her smile. "It's only fair that you get to see first. But, do please show me after." She told him kindly. Wonder which victim the Lady had chosen...
